Abstrak :
Mangrove forest is coastal vegetation which influenced by sea water and river flow tide. Beside as a habitat for various sea biota and natural food resources for various fish, mangrove forest also has important function to protect coastline ecosystem.

A Two kind of research have been done; first, silvofishery aspect and status and conservation mangrove forest in Muara Gembong Bekasi West Java

The first research for studying variously silvofishery ecology aspect. Result of research shows litter production around 3,0-4,8 ton/ha/year; velocity litter decomposition 55 - 77 %; temperature 30,2 - 30,9 °C; salinity 21,7 - 27,5; brightness 0,48 - 99,5 m; pH 7,9 - 8.1; oxygen 4,5 - 5,4 mgll; BOD 1.9 - 2,9 mg/l; COD 139,1 - 272,6 mgll; Nitrat-N 0,140 - 0.274 mgll: Ortho-P040 0,034 -0.062 mgll. Fitoplankton analysis got result there was 4 family 17 spesies and for zooplankton had 2 family with 6 spesies.

The second research have been done for knowing about the total mangrove plant which grew there and for giving ecology characteristics. The research shows that in research area had 14 species from 9 family. Vegetation in this area is dominated by Rhizophora, Avicenia, Exoecria, Sonneratia, Bruguiera, Achantus, Acrostichum, Aegiceros, Wedelia, Nypa.

The conclusion of two researches shows mangrove forest in Muara Gembong Bekasi West Java is unique estuarine ecosystem type with mangrove and in this area had a good potential to be developed as brackiswater area through silvofishery. According to potential area and considering need projection, management of mangrove forest area have to be developed with government support. Because we face a problem with brackwiswater farmer who always try to enlarge their brackiswater area through cut down the mangrove plant

In this study aim to look at impact of Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (IFT) on forest conservation during the period 2008-2016 in Indonesia. This study uses panels model fixed effect, and Spatial Autoregressive (SAR) fixed effect. The results of this study suggest that Impact of Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer (IFT) in the form Dana Perimbangan such as Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) positive significantly influences the expansion of forest conservation areas in Indonesia. Coordination funds in the form Dana Tugas Pembantuan positively significantly affect the district/city level while the provincial level shows just positive. In addition, the impact of adjacent areas or neighborhood effects has been empirically proven to influence the expansion of forest conservation areas in Indonesia. The impact is seen in positive spatial coefficients.  It can be concluded that the provision of public goods such as the forest conservation area is occured not a free rider. Public goods that have positive spillover will actually issue a mimicry event, participation in the neighboring area.

This study aims to clarify root problem of unhealthy relationship of Balai TamanNasional Ujung Kulon and local society in the area of Gunung Honje. Performed tracing, revealed that the unhealthy relationship had been happening for ages, ever since UjungKulon was yet to be officially National Park. By using historical method, this study foundthat centralized expansion of Cagar Alam Ujung Kulon in Gunung Honje had ledinevitable pressure of local society on the park. Unfortunately, the problem resolution hadbeen protracted. Until 16 years of managing of Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon, theprobrem remained unresolved completely.

ABSTRACT , Malaria is a vector-borne disease that still remains as a health problem in Indonesia. Malaria control focus more on the diagnosis and treatment of ACT and other mosquito bite prevention efforts so the environmental-based efforts are necessary, one of them is mangrove forests conservation in view of the resistance challenges of parasite and vector of malaria and climate change that is happening now. This study aim to examine the relationship between the conservation of mangrove forests with the prevalence of malaria. The design study is a population-based ecological correlations. 18 districts / cities were obtained of a total of 28 samples that were on the north coast of Java Island. The data used are Riskesdas in 2013 and RTK-RHL DAS Mangrove dan Sempadan Pantai Ministry of Forestry in 2010. The results showed significant relationship between the management of mangrove forests and malaria incidence (r = -0,675) with (p = 0,002). Mangrove forests conservation can be an environmental-based malaria control effort because it has a strong negative correlation with the incidence of malaria, so the larger the mangrove forests management the smaller the prevalence of malaria in the region. Mangrove forests conservation is supported by the community empowerment around the forests]
