"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas mengenai kemungkinan investasi asing di klub sepakbolaIndonesia, sebagaimana yang sudah jamak dilakukan di liga-liga sepakbola Eropa,mengingat Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara tujuan investasi (host state)terbesar bagi investor asing di berbagai sektor usaha, salah satunya adalah dalamkepemilikan klub sepakbola profesional yang bernaung dibawah PT sebagai badanhukumnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatifempiris(socio legal) dengan menggunakan dasar teori legal positivism dari Hart danteori middle path dari M. Sornarajah. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa investasiasing dalam kepemilikan klub sepakbola di Indonesia berpotensi menimbulkanmasalah di kemudian hari karena tidak diatur secara jelas dalam DNI. Sebagaikonsekuensi, Indonesia sebaiknya mengkaji agar Revisi DNI selanjutnya jugamemasukkan bidang usaha klub sepakbola sebagai bidang usaha yang terbuka denganpersyaratan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the possibility of foreign investment in Indonesian football club,as is already done in the plural European football leagues, considering Indonesia isone investment destination (host state), the largest foreign investor in variousbusiness sectors, one of which is in possession professional football club who shelterunder the limited liability company as a legal entity. This study is a qualitativeresearch with normative-empirical approach (socio legal) using the basic theory oflegal positivism of Hart and middle path theory of M. Sornarajah. The results of thestudy suggest that foreign investment in the ownership of football clubs in Indonesiahas the potential to cause problems in the future because it is not clearly regulated inthe negative list. As a consequence, Indonesia should review in order to furtherrevision of negative list also enter the field of business as a football club that is opento the field of business requirements."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara nilai pemain, kinerja lapangan, kinerja finansial dan kinerja saham klub sepakbola di Eropa.Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 17 klub sepakbola di Eropa yang terdaftar di Bursa saham dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Hasilnya, disimpulkan bahwa nilai pemain berdampak positif terhadap kinerja finansial klub namun tidak memiliki dampak terhadap performa lapangan. Selanjutnya, disimpulkan juga bahwa kinerja lapangan dan kinerja finansial memiliki dampat positif satu sama lain. Terakhir, disimpulkan bahwa kinerja finansial dan kinerja lapangan tidak berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja saham klub

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between player‟s value, field performance, financial performance, and stock performance of European football clubs. The sample used in this research are 17 European football clubs which are listed in stock exchange. The method used to analyze the data is Generalized Structural Component Analysis (GSCA). The results show that player‟s value has positive impact on financial performance but its impact on field performance is insignificant. Then, field performance and financial performace has significant impact on each other. Last, both field performance and financial performance have insignificant impact on football club‟s stock performance."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bahwa kontrak pemain sepakbola memenuhi kriteria sesuai kebijakan akuntansi untuk diakui sebagai asset takberwujud. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menganalisis manfaat ekonomi masa kini dan masa depan dari investasi pemain pada klub sepakbola di Eropa. Metode penelitian yang dipakai merujuk kepada penelitian Amir dan Livne (2005). Data yang dipakai adalah data klub divisi utama di 10 liga besar di Eropa, dengan periode dari 2007-2013. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa investasi pemain berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manfaat ekonomi klub tersebut hanya pada tahun dilakukannya investasi. Namun, investasi klub pada tahun berjalan tidak berpengaruh terhadap manfaat ekonomi masa depan klub.

This paper aims to clarify that the contract of football player meets the criteria appropriate accounting policies to be recognized as intangible asset. In addition, this study analyze the current and future economic benefit of an player investment in European football clubs. The research method used to refer to the study Amir and Livne (2005). The paper use a data from some of the club in 10 major division of European league from 2007 - 2013. This study summaries the findings that players investment significantly effect its economic benefits only in the current period of investment. However, the club’s investment in the current period does not effect the club's future economic benefits."
