Abstrak :
Inovasi pertanian bioindustri diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan petani melalui sumber informasi, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani. Penerapan inovasi teknologi oleh petani dipengaruhi oleh faktor potensi individu untuk menerapkan inovasi, peran sumber informasi dalam menyediakan dan menidseminasikan inovasi, serta faktor-faktor eksternal yang memungkinkan pengguna menerapkan inovasi teknologi.

Tesis ini membahas peran agen perubahan dalam keputusan inovasi pada Perpustakaan Ulil Albab, Universitas Cendekiawan Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan metode studi kasus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran agen perubahan dalam keputusan inovasi, mengidentifikasi inovas-inovasi yang telah diadopsi dan apa yang menjadi faktor pendorong dan penghambat keputusan inovasi. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa kepala perpustakaan di era sekarang ini harus dapat menjalankan peran sebagai agen perubahan. Sebagai agen perubahan secara personal harus memiliki kemampuan dan keahlian yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan, bisa meyakinkan banyak pihak.

ABSTRACT
The focus of this study is the change agent role in innovation decission at Ulil Albab Library, Cendekiawan Muslim University. This study used a descriptive research model with a qualitative approach, case study method. The purpose of this study was to identify the change agent role in decision of innovation, to identify the innovations that have been and what are the driving and inhibiting factors in decision of innovation.The result of the study suggest that head of the library in this era should be run as a change agent.
