"Kelelahan merupakan kontributor utama dalam 60-70% insiden yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan manusia di sektor pertambangan. Kelelahan dapat membahayakan kesehatan dan keselamatan di tempat kerja dan merupakan dampak yang sering terjadi akibat dari stres dan shift kerja. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kelelahan pada operator tambang batubara. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis pengaruh karakter individu (usia, Indeks Massa Tubuh, kualitas tidur, kuantitas tidur dan tempat tinggal) dan faktor pekerjaan (durasi shift) terhadap kelelahan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan memasukkan 10 literatur terkait topik penelitian untuk dianalisis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stres merupakan faktor dengan kontribusi tebesar yaitu 33,6% pada kejadian kelelahan. Kelelahan juga berkaitan dengan usia, kualitas tidur, kuantitas tidur, tempat tinggal dan durasi shift. Namun, penelitian ini belum bisa membuktikan pengaruh Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) terhadap kelelahan. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah stres memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kelelahan pada pada operator tambang batubara.

Fatigue is the main contributor factor on 60-70% incident that caused by human factor in mining industry. Fatigue can affect workers health and workplace safety and is a frequent impact resulting from stress and shift work. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of stress towards fatigue on coal operators. This study also assess the impact of individual character (age, body mass index, sleep quality, sleep quantity and recidence) and work-related factor (shift duration) towards fatigue. Methods of this study is systematic literature review with a total of 10 literature that related to the topic were included. Result showed 33,6% of fatigue related incident is caused by stress. Fatigue also attributed with age, sleep quality, sleep quantity, recidence and shift duration. However, the study cant prove the impact of Body Mass Index (BMI) towards fatigue. In conculsion, stress has the potential to increase fatigue on coal operators."

Kelelahan pada operator ground support equipment dalam kegiatan ground handling pesawat di area ramp berisiko tinggi menyebabkan insiden dan kecelakaan yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian besar terutama bagi maskapai penerbangan, pekerja ground handling dan operasi bandara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya kelelahan pada operator ground support equipment yang menangani pesawat wide body PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-analitik dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang berjumlah 80 responden. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi square. Fatigue Severity Scale digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur kelelahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur, waktu commuting dan waktu istirahat secara signifikan berasosiasi terhadap kelelahan pada operator ground support equipment. Faktor individu dalam penelitian ini berperan besar terhadap terjadinya kelelahan sehingga diharapkan pekerja dapat mengelola waktu pribadi dan mengoptimalkan waktu istirahat ketika bekerja untuk mengurangi kelelahan

This is a descriptive-analytic research with quantitative method. Total sampling method was used in this research with 80 respondents as sample. Data were analyzed by chi square test. The results showed that age, commuting time and rest periods are significantly associated to fatigue on the ground support equipment operators. Jumlah responden penelitian 50 orang. penelitian kuantitatif observasional, metode cross-sectional. Pengukuran kelelahan menggunakan kuesioner skala Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 48% responden mempunyai potensi kelelahan akut sedang, 44% potensi kelelahan akut pada operator dump truck, shift kerja mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap potensi kelelahan akut tinggi dan sedang (p value = 0.027). diharapkan PT Semen Padang memberikan edukasi tentang faktor risiko kelelahan pada operator alat berat.

Fatigue is one of the cause of accidents. The objective of this study is to examine acute fatigue potential based on a Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) scale and types of heavy equipment, analyze the relationship between work-related fatigue (duration, workload and shift work), response to non-work-related fatigue (age, nutritional status, commuting time, the number of hours of sleep) with the occurrence of fatigue on heavy equipment operator. This research was conducted from April until July 2016 at heavy equipment operator in the mine area 1 Bukit Karang Putih. Number of study respondents 50 people. The study is observational quantitative research with cross-sectional method. Measurement of fatigue using a OFER scale and the results show that 48% of respondents experiencing moderate acute fatigue, 44% of dump truck experiencing high acute fatigue, shift has significant correlation with high and moderate acute fatigue potential (p value = 0.027). recomendation to company PT Semen Padang to provide education or training about risk factor fatigue to heavy equipment operator."

Operator tambang batubara merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang memiliki risiko tinggi untuk mengalami kelelahan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kelelahan pada operator tambang batubara dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur sistematis. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu shift kerja, durasi kerja, dan beban kerja dengan covariat faktor individu (usia, kualitas tidur, kuantitas tidur, dan irama sirkadian) dan faktor pekerjaan &lingkungan kerja (waktu istirahat, waktu kerja, dan masa kerja). Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratori dengan metode deskriptif melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis terhadap literatur yang sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian. Tinjauan literatur sistematis ini dilakukan dengan tahapan identifikasi, ekstraksi, sintetis, dan intrepetasi data yang diperoleh dari 11 literatur terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara shift kerja, durasi kerja, dan beban kerja terhadap kelelahan pada operator tambang batubara.

ABSTRACT
Coal Mining Operator is one of the high-risk occupations in experiencing fatigue. This study aim to determine factors associated with fatigue on coal mining operators through a systematic literature review method. Factors studied were shift work, work duration, and workload with covariate of individual factors (age, sleep quantity, sleep quality, and circadian rhythm) and factors of work & work environment (rest periods, work hours, and work period). This research is an exploratory study with a descriptive method through a systematic literature review of the literature in according to the research criteria. This systematic literature review is conducted through the identification, extraction, synthesis, and interpretation of data obtained from 11 selected literature. The resukt showed that there was an influence between shift work, work duration, and workload on fatigue in coal mining operators."

"Kelelahan merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab kecelakaan transportasi, ditandai dengan menurunnya kinerja fisik dan mental yang mengakibatkan kurangnya kewaspadaan karena rasa kantuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko dan faktor pendukung kelelahan pada operator alat berat. Penelitian dilakukan pada operator alat berat di 3 tambang batubara di Kalimantan (2 area di Kalimantan Timur dan 1 area di Kalimantan Selatan), melibatkan 353 operator alat berat yang bekerja dengan 3 sif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa keluhan kelelahan semakin tinggi dengan meningkatnya usia, lama kerja, dan kerja pada sif 3 (malam hari).
Kelelahan paling banyak dirasakan oleh operator dump truck (bagian hauling) yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor pekerjaan (postur saat bekerja, faktor variasi pekerjaan, beban kerja dan vigilance) dan faktor-faktor bukan pekerjaan (kondisi medan atau area tambang yang berisiko, penerangan yang kurang pada malam hari, dan rute yang selalu berubah). Faktor lain-nya berkaitan dengan masalah sosial-psikologis, baik yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan maupun lingkungan kerja, seperti waktu istirahat, standar gaji yang belum memadai, pengaturan jadwal cuti yang sering tidak jelas, dan masalah karier. Disimpulkan, secara umum kelelahan meningkat dengan bertambahnya usia dan lama kerja, dengan kelelahan yang lebih besar pada pekerja sif 3. Umumnya, penurunan waktu reaksi pekerja sif malam lebih besar daripada waktu reaksi pekerja sif siang.

Fatigue is one of the causes of transportation accidents, characterized by reduced physical and mental performance resulting in reduced alertness due to drowsiness. The present study was to determine the risk factors and contributing factors of fatigue suffered by heavy equipment operators. The study was conducted at three coal mining sites in Kalimantan (2 areas in East Kalimantan and 1 area in South Kalimantan) involving 353 heavy equipment operators who work in shifts. It was found that fatigue complaint Pekerjaan, Nonpekerjaan, dan Psikologi Sosial sebagai Penyebab Kelelahan Operator Alat Berat di Industi Pertambangan Batu Bara Work-related, Non-work related, and Social Psychology as Causes of Heavy Equipment Operators Fatigue in Coal Mining Industry is higher by older age, longer work, and work at shift 3 (night time).
The fatigue is mostly complained by dump truck (hauling part) operators which was influenced by work-related factors (work posture, job variety, workload, vigilance) and non-work related factors (terrain or mine risk area, lack of lighting at night, and route track which is always changed). Another factors related with socio-psychological factors, either related with job or working environment, such as adequacy of rest time, remuneration system, leave system, and insecure career. It is concluded that in general the fatigues were increased as the worker ages were older and longer duration of work, with higher fatigues were suffered at shift 3. Generally, reduced reaction time among shift 3 workers is higher than that those of daytime shift.

Kelelahan merupakan salah satu penyebab tingginya angka kecelakaan. Salah satu jenis pekerjaan yang memiliki potensi tinggi untuk mengalami kelelahan adalah operator tambang batubara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan jenis kendaraan terhadap tingkat kelelahan pada operator tambang batubara.  Variabel yang dianalisis adalah kelelahan, jenis kendaraan, umur, kuantitas tidur, shift kerja, dan masa kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan melakukan full text review pada 10 literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui skor tingkat kelelahan operator tambang  sebesar 45-56 atau 28% - 59,3%. Operator dump truck hauling cenderung mengalami kelelahan berat dibandingkan dengan operator dump truck area loading dan dumping, serta operator lainnya. Selain itu, dari keseluruhan variabel yaitu jenis kendaraan, kuantitas tidur, dan shift kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kelelahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah jenis kendaraan yang digunakan operator memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat kelelahan pada operator tambang batubara.


Fatigue is one of the causes of the high accident rate. One type of work that has a high potential to experience fatigue is a coal mine operator. This study aims to explain the different types of vehicles on the level of fatigue in coal mine operators. The variables analyzed were fatigue, vehicle type, age, sleep quantity, work shift, and work period. This research was conducted using a systematic literature review method by conducting a full text review of 10 literatures. The results of this study note the mine operator fatigue level score of 45-56 or 28% - 59.3%. Hauling dump truck operators tend to experience severe fatigue compared to dump truck operators of loading and dumping areas, as well as other operators. In addition, the overall variables, namely the type of vehicle, sleep quantity, and work shift have a significant relationship to the level of fatigue. The conclusion from this study is the type of vehicle used by the operator has an influence on the level of fatigue in the coal mine operator.

Kelelahan operator alat berat masih menjadi masalah di berbagai negara, didukung dengan hasil prasurvey pada 4 Maret 2020 di PT.X menunjukkan bahwa 3 dari 3 operator alat berat mengeluhkan kelelahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelelehan dan hubungan faktor karakteristik individu dan faktor pekerjaan dengan kelelahan operator alat berat bongkar muat Terminal Y di PT.X Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian potong lintang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 60 orang dan sebanyak 52 orang yang mengisi kuesioner secara lengkap. Variabel yang diteliti di antaranya faktor karakteristik individu (usia, IMT, kuantitas tidur, waktu perjalanan, status perkawinan) dan faktor pekerjaan (masa kerja, shift, dan waktu istirahat) yang diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC). Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan Fisher Exact menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara IMT (P value= 0.015), waktu perjalanan (P value=0.022 ) dan kelelahan kerja operator. Sebesar (90.4%) operator alat berat mengalami kelelahan ringan dan (9.6%) mengalami kelelahan sedang. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pelatihan mengenai fatigue management untuk menurunkan risiko kelelahan operator alat berat.

ABSTRACT
Heavy equipment operator fatigue is still a problem in many countries, supported by the survey on March 4th at PT.X showing that 3 out of 3 heavy equipment operators complained of fatigue. This study aims to detemine the level of fatigue and the relationship between individual characteristic factors and work factors with fatigue of loading and unloading heavy equipment operator at Terminal Y PT.X 2020. It is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 60 operator and 52 operators filled the questionaire in full. The variables studied were individual characteristic factors (age, BMI, sleep quantity, commuting time, and marital status) and work factors (years of service, shift work, and rest periods) which were measured using the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionaire. Fisher Exact analysis showed, there was a relationship between BMI (P value=0.015), commuting time (P value=0.022) and operators fatigue. More than ninety persen (90.4%) heavy equipment operators experienced mild fatigue and 9.6% experienced moderate fatigue. So, fatigue management training is needed to reduce the risk of heavy equipment operator fatigue."
