Skripsi ini memaparkan kosakata dalam bahasa Kanak secara morfologis dan semantis. Dari aspek linguistik, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami etimologi sebuah kata serta mengurai komponen makna dalam dongeng berbahasa Kanak Rotkäpschem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berfokus pada unsur pembentuk kata serta teori semantik bahasa Jerman untuk lebih spesifiknya melihat komponen makna dalam teks. Dari hasil analisis 12 kosakata bahasa Kanak (korpus data), ditemukan bahwa bahasa Kanak atau Kanak Sprache memang merupakan gabungan dari bahasa Turki dan Bahasa Jerman. Namun dominasi bahasa Jerman begitu terasa baik dari segi morfologis maupun semantis.

ABSTRACT This thesis examines the vocabulary of Kanak language morphologically and semantically. From the aspect of linguistics, the study aims to understand the etymology of a word and the meaning components in a modern fairy tale titled Rotkäpschem. The research is conducted qualitatively and focused on word-forming elements and semantic theory in German language.
