"This book provides a platform for exploring nature-inspired optimization techniques in the context of imaging applications. Optimization has become part and parcel of all computational vision applications, and since the amount of data used in these applications is vast, the need for optimization techniques has increased exponentially. These accuracy and complexity are a major area of concern when it comes to practical applications. However, these optimization techniques have not yet been fully explored in the context of imaging applications. By presenting interdisciplinary concepts, ranging from optimization to image processing, the book appeals to a broad readership, while also encouraging budding engineers to pursue and employ innovative nature-inspired techniques for image processing applications."

"The low-cost Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of small battery powered devices called sensors, with limited energy capacity. Once deployed, accessibility to any sensor node for maintenance and battery replacement is not feasible due to the spatial scattering of the nodes. This will lead to an unreliable, limited lifetime and a poor connectivity network. In this paper a novel bio-inspired cluster-based deployment algorithm is proposed for energy optimization of the WSN and ultimately to improve the network lifetime. In the cluster initialization phase, a single cluster is formed with a single cluster head at the center of the sensing terrain. The second phase is for optimum cluster formation surrounding the inner cluster, based on swarming bees and a piping technique. Each cluster member distributes its data to its corresponding cluster head and the cluster head communicates with the base station, which reduces the communication distance of each node. The simulation results show that, when compared with other clustering algorithms, the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the number of clusters by 38% and improve the network lifetime by a factor of 1/4."

We examine deflection of light in global monopole gravitational field in Eddington-inspired Born-Infeld theory. We use strong field approach when light relatively close to the black hole. We discover that the global monopole gravitational field will increase the deflection angle. EiBI parameter will also increase the deflection angle, but that only happens when the impact parameter is small."

Kemudian inspired-by state memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan pada inspired-to state. Selanjutnya, inspired-to state memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan pada intentions to engage in livestream shopping.
The popularity of online shopping through livestream shopping platforms has grown rapidly since the COVID-19 pandemic. This research looks at how customer inspiration affects their intention to engage in livestream shopping, focusing on TikTok Shop. Data was collected from 300 Indonesian citizens respondents aged 18 to 34 who had made a purchase while watching TikTok Shop livestreams. The research uses a quantitative approach and analyzes the data with Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4 software. The research findings show that factors such as content diagnosticity, vicarious expression, source credibility, social presence, and telepresence all have a significantly positive impact on the inspired-by state. Then, the inspired-by state has a significantly positive impact on the inspired-to state. Furthermore, the inspired-to state also has a significantly positive impact on the intentions to engage in livestream shopping."

We present a detailed analysis of the thermodynamics and phase transition phenomena of electrically charged black holes in Eddington inspired Born Infeld theory of gravity. The thermodynamics properties are obtained through the surface gravity method that are well known in black hole mechanics. We analyse the phase structure and the stability configuration of the black holes through the property of its specific heat and free energy. It is found that the phase structure of electrically charged black holes in Eddington inspired Born Infeld both in de Sitter and Anti de Sitter spacetime behaves like Schwarzschild black holes in the large limit of , therefore indicating that it is the preferred state of the black holes."
