"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas teori Single Period Inventory Model yang diterapkan pada Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sebagai alternatif penyelesaian masalah stockout yang ada pada Industri Plastik Menengah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan pilihan kebijakan pada perencanaan produksi dengan biaya yang lebih rendah, dimana perhitungannya dibantu oleh modul. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode pengambilan spesifikasi, lalu perancangan sesuai dengan kebutuhan costumer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang diciptakan sudah sesuai dengan rancangan awal, dengan kehandalan yang teruji. Akhir analisis menyebutkan bahwa model ini dapat memberikan alternatif biaya yang lebih murah dalam menghadapi stockout, dengan asumsi mengutamakan kepercayaan costumer.

ABSTRACTThis study describes Single Period Inventory Model theory, applicated into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as an alternative in resolving stockout that happens on Medium Plastic Industry. The purpose of this study is to give a choice of policy on production planning with lower cost, where the model calculation is done by the module. The study begins with costumer specification, then designed according to their needs. The result of this study is implying that the study has successfully build a reliable corresponding module with the designed system. This study shows that the model can give an alternative policy with lower cost in resolving stockout, with the assumption that the customer trust is important"

Industri Plastik Menengah berperan penting dalam rantai pasok bagi sektor strategis lainnya dengan banyaknya permintaan plastik untuk kebutuhan kemasan produk lainnya dan meningkat hingga mencapai 5% dalam lima tahun terakhir. Oleh karena itu, Industri Plastik Menengah berupaya untuk membantu meningkatkan kualitas serta kuantitas produksi dengan menerapkan teknlogi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan hasil. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) merupakan sebuah aplikasi sistem integrasi dan pertukaran data yang dapat membantu peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas proses produksi pada Industri Plastik Menengah. Berdasarkan survey yang telah dilakukan, belum adanya penentuan pembelian bahan baku yang tetap oleh Industri Plastik Menengah. Dampak yang ditimbulkan yaitu ditemukannya losses yang memengaruhi proses produksi akibat keterlambatan bahan baku pada jadwal produksi. Solusi yang dapat diberikan dengan menerapkan modul Material Requirement Planning (MRP) sebagai modul pada ERP yang menyediakan dua teknik yang dapat merencanakan pembelian bahan baku dengan membandingkan biaya pengeluaran perusahaan dari segi biaya persiapan pembelian bahan baku dan biaya penyimpanan produk jadi.

Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa Teknik Lot-for-Lot dengan sistem pembelian bahan baku sesuai dengan jumlah permintaan produk jadi dapat menghasilkan pengeluaran biaya perusahaan lebih rendah hingga mencapai ¼ biaya perencanaan dengan Teknik Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) dengan sistem pembelian bahan baku berkala sesuai dengan intervalnya.

The Medium Plastic Industry plays an important role in the supply chain for other strategic sectors with the large demand for plastic for other product packaging needs and increases to reach 5% in the last five years. Therefore, the Medium Plastic Industry seeks to help improve the quality and quantity of production by applying technology to improve work efficiency and yield. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an application for system integration and data exchange that can help improve the quality and quantity of production processes in the Medium Plastic Industry. Based on the survey that has been carried out, there is no determination of the fixed purchase of raw materials by the Medium Plastic Industry. The impact that is caused is the discovery of losses that affect the production process due to delays in raw materials on the production schedule. Solutions that can be provided by applying the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) module as a module on ERP that provides two techniques that can plan raw material purchases by comparing the companys expenditure costs in terms of preparation costs for raw material purchases and the cost of storing finished products.

In this research, the Lot-for-Lot technique with a system of purchasing raw materials in accordance with the number of requests for finished products can result in lower corporate expenses up to a quarter of the planning costs with the Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) technique with periodic raw material purchasing systems in accordance with the interval.
