Kegiatan produksi tahu menimbulkan panas dan bau dari asap dan dari air limbah yang dihasilkan selama proses produksi. Kayu bakar yang digunakan dalam proses produksi di industri tahu dapat mempengaruhi luas penebangan hutan untuk permintaan kayu bakar, dengan mengasumsikan semua kayu yang digunakan untuk keperluan produksi industri tahu di lokasi penelitian berasal dari hutan. Kegiatan produksi di industri tahu menimbulkan dampak lingkungan dan dampak sosial, padahal pengelola industri tahu berkewajiban menjaga lingkungan, misalnya dengan menginternalisasi biaya eksternal dari kegiatan produksinya. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis dampak industri tahu pada ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan di Jakarta. Analisis data berupa narasi deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah Karang Tengah, dan di PIK Semanan. Hasil penelitian; 1) Pembuangan limbah cair tahu tanpa pengolahan dapat mengganggu kehidupan biota perairan; 2) Kegiatan di pabrik tahu menimbulkan biaya sosial yang dikeluarkan warga yang tinggal di sekitarnya; 3) Keberadaan industri tahu membantu penyerapan tenaga kerja pada masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitarnya; 4) Internalisasi biaya eksternal berupa biaya lingkungan mengakibatkan penurunan pendapatan industri tahu.

Abstrak :
Tesis ini membahas dampak IHSG, nilai tukar rupiah terhadap USD (Kurs USD) dan harga komoditi dunia yang diwakilkan dengan harga emas dunia dan harga CPO dunia terhadap return reksadana syariah campuran. Dengan menggunakan data sekunder mingguan dalam periode penelitian sejak tanggal 13 Januari 2006 sampai dengan tanggal 07 Desember 2007. Penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier dan model distributed lag terhadap obyek penelitian yaitu empat reksadana syariah campuran yang eksis pada periode penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyarankan agar Investor dalam mengantisipasi pergerakan return reksadana syariah khususnya yang berbasis campuran agar memperhatikan pergerakan harga komoditi dunia yang diwakili oleh emas dan CPO disamping pergerakan IHSG dan Kurs USD. Karena sampai saat ini sektor perkebunan dan pertambangan merupakan kapitalisasi terbesar dalam reksadana di Indonesia termasuk reksadana syariah.

The focus of this study is about the impact of Jakarta Composite Index, Exchange Rate and Commodities Price in the International Market that are represented by Gold and Crued Palm Oil (CPO) to the Return of Mixture Shariah Mutual Fund. By using weekly secondary data during the research period from the 13th January 2006 until 07th December 2007. This research is quantitave by using linear regression test and distributed lag model to the research objects namely from Mixture Shariah Mutual Fund which exist in the research period. The research result suggested the investor in anticipating the movement of the return shariah mutual fund, especially which is based on mixture type, to pay attention the movement of commodities price in the international market, represented by Gold and Crued Palm Oil (CPO) beside the movement of Jakarta Composite Index and Exchange Rate.

Pokok bahasan pada Tesis ini adalah dampak penyelenggaraan jasa Telepon Internet. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mempelajari pertumbuhan pemakai, penyelenggara dan perkembangan teknologi Telepon Internet yang akan memberikan dampak terhadap penyelenggaraan jasa telekomunikasi. Pada Tesis ini juga dihitung dampak penyelenggaraan Telepon Internet terhadap trafik telepon internasional di Indonesia. Pada awalnya, Telepon Internet digunakan sebagai sarana komunikasi komputer ke komputer diantara para pemakai Internet. Saat ini Telepon Internet telah menjadi sarana komunikasi suara yang dipergunakan oleh para pemakai telepon. Telepon Internet oleh kalangan bisnis dan kalangan konsumer telah dijadikan sarana untuk melakukan panggilan telepon internasional dengan tarif yang rendah. Bagi penyelenggara Telekomunikasi, Telepon Internet merupakan ancaman karena dapat mengambil sebagian pendapatannya dan bagi bukan penyelenggara telekomunikasi, Telepon Internet merupakan peluang untuk menyelenggarakan jasa telepon secara global dengan menggunakan jaringan komunikasi data sebagai sarananya. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa, (1) dampak penyelenggaraan Telepon Internet terhadap trafik telepon internasional kecil, tetapi jika regulator mengijinkan adanya penyelenggara jasa Telepon Internet akan memberikan dampak yang cukup serius sebab mereka dapat menawarkan tarif pungut yang lebih rendah dan akan mem-bypass tarif akunting dan (2) tumbuhnya penyelenggara jasa Telepon Internet secara global telah menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan tatanan pada penyelenggaraan telekomunikasi. Pemisahan penyelenggaraan jasa telekomunikasi yang berdasarkan kepada dasar dan non dasar, saat ini sudah tidak dapat dilakukan lagi karena keduanya sudah dikirimkan dalam bentuk digital. Di masa depan pemisahan penyelenggaraan jasa telekomunikasi dapat dipisahkan berdasarkan jaringan dan isinya.

The effect of growth Internet Telephony is a subject in this thesis. Observation in this thesis made by study the growth of user, service provider and development of the technologies in the Internet Telephony that can give effect on telecommunication services. In this thesis, the effect of Internet Telephony on the international telephone traffic in Indonesia are also presented. From being seen as a hobbyist?s activity for Internet user to their friend via computer, Internet telephony has became a competing method of voice transmission for all telephony user. Internet Telephony for business and consumers, it promises to provide international calling with low tariff. For Telecommunications Company, Internet Telephony threatens to take revenues away. For non telecommunications company, Internet telephony is the opportunities to offer worldwide telephone service using data network as a backbone. The result show that (1) the effect of Internet Telephony on the International telephone traffic is not significant, but if the regulator allow Internet Telephony Service Provider offer Internet Telephony services in Indonesia the effect will be significant because they can offer with low tariff and bypass the accounting rate system and (2) the growth of the global Internet Telephony is causing a major paradigm shift in the telecommunications. The present day technology does not allow a distinction between basic and non basic telecommunication services, since both are transmitted in digital. The distinction in the future is in the infrastructure and content telecommunication services.

Abstrak :
Aktivitas al-Qai'da terutama setelah insiden 11 September tclah menimbuikan efek globalisasi terorisme yang berdampak hingga ke Indonesia. Fenomena ini dibuktikan dengan serangan born terhadap Bali pada 2002, hotel 3W Marriott pada 2003, dan Kedubes Australia di Jakarta yang dilakukan oleh Jamaah Islamiyah, yang merupakan jaringan terorisme al-Qai'da di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Pasca peledakan bom Bali, jaringan terorisme justra serrakin menunjukkan kecendeiungan pertumbuhan yang meningkat. Hai ini tidak terlepas dari faktor-faktor kerentanan yang dialami Indonesia dan dimanfaatkan oleh jaringan terorisnie global untuk mengembangkan ideologi dan meiakukan serangan-serangan teror terhadap target-target yang mereka anggap lemah. Hingga terjadinya peristiwa peledakan Kedubes Australia di Jakarta, pemerintah masih saja kesulitan dalarn menghadapi dan memberantas terorisme. Kesulitan itu tidak terlepas dari faktor-faktor kerentanan Indonesia yang berakumulasi dengan globalisasi terorisme gaya aI-Qai'da. Dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang berusaha melakukan deskripsi dan interpretasi secara akurat makna dari gejala yang terjadi, serta menggunakan strategi penelitian berdasarkan studi kasus dapat disimpulkan bahwa Indonesia sulit lepas dari ancaman terorisme global dikarenakan faktor eksternal seperti meluasnya globalisasi terorisme gaya al-Qai'da dan faktor-faktor internal seperti dampak globalisasi, agama, sikap anti-Amerika dari masyarakat, kondisi sosial ekonomi yang tidak stabil serta lemahnya respon pemerintah.

Abstrak :
Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) adalah elemen informatika kesehatan yang berfokus terutama pada kebutuhan administrasi rumah sakit. Penggunaan SIMRS dalam operasi rumah sakit harus dapat memberikan kenyamanan, untuk mengatasi layanan dan kendala administrasi, dan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi sistem informasi terhadap produktivitas pengeluaran kas / unit bank di rumah sakit Subjek dan Metode: Ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di pusat kardiovaskular nasional Harapan Kita, Jakarta. Variabel dependen adalah produktivitas. Variabel independen adalah implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS). Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan review dokumen. Hasil: Sistem manual pada pengeluaran administratif unit kas / bank menghasilkan beberapa masalah, seperti kesalahan perhitungan, kesalahan penulisan, duplikasi data, dan waktu pemrosesan yang lama. Penerapan aplikasi verifikasi pengeluaran meningkatkan akurasi perhitungan hingga 100%, menghilangkan duplikasi data, dan mempersingkat waktu pemrosesan Kesimpulan: Penerapan aplikasi verifikasi pengeluaran meningkatkan produktivitas di unit kas/bank pengeluaran dengan meningkatkan akurasi perhitungan, menghilangkan duplikasi data, dan mempersingkat waktu pemrosesan.

Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) is an element of health informatics that focuses mainly on the administrational needs of hospitals. The use of HMIS in a hospital operation must be able to provide convenience, to overcome service and to administrative constraints, and to increase productivity. This study aimed to analyze the impact of information system implementation on the productivity of the expenditure cash/ bank unit in a hospital. Subjects and Method: This was a descriptive qualitative study conducted at national cardiovascular center Harapan Kita, Jakarta. The dependent variable was performance. The independent variable was Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) implementation. The data were collected by interview and document review. Results: The manual system at the administrative expenditure cash/ bank unit yielded several issues, such as calculation error, writing error, data duplication, and long processing time. The implementation of verification aplication improved calculation accuracy up to 100%, eliminated data duplication, and shortened processing time Conclusion: The implementation of verification aplication improves productivity of the expenditure cash/ bank unit in a hospital by increasing calculation accuracy, eliminating data duplication, and shortening processing time.
