Praktik kerja profesi ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan tugas khusus yaitu "Kajian Terhadap Industri yang Memproduksi Suplemen Kesehatan". Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah mengkaji peraturan terkait industri yang memproduksi suplemen kesehatan di berbagai negara USA, Eropa, dan Australia dibandingkan dengan hasil kesepakatan Harmonisasi ASEAN.

Internship at Directorate Standardization of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplements and Cosmetics National Agency of Drug and Food Control Period 8th to 27th March 2018 aims to understand the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmacy management and regulations related to traditional medicine, health supplements and cosmetics, have the insight, knowledge, skills and practical experience to undertake pharmaceutical practices in National Agency of Drug and Food Control, can also have the insight of pharmaceutical practice issues and learn strategies and activities that can be taken during pharmaceutical practice development. This internship was conducted for one month with special assignment "Review of Industries that Produce Health Supplements" The purpose of this special assignment is reviewing regulations related to industries that produce health supplements in various countries USA, Europe and Australia compared to the results of the ASEAN Harmonization agreement."

Tugas khusus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil strategi pemasaran serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penjualan suplemen kesehatan melalui laman sosial media (social media marketing). Tugas khusus ini diawali dengan mempelajari Produk Suplemen Kesehatan lalu menyiapkan bahan untuk promosi dan melakukan pemasaran melalui laman sosial media, seperti Whatsapp dan Instagram yang selanjutnya, dilakukan pengolahan data hasil penjualan. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, dalam jangka waktu yang sempit, berhasil terjual sebanyak tiga buah dengan omset yang didapat sebesar Rp1.461.600,-. Pemanfaatan media sosial yang dilakukan sebagai pemasaran alternatif, lebih fleksibel dan tidak terbatas oleh jarak, tempat dan waktu. Pemasaran alternatif ini dapat dilaksanakan sebagai promosi utama bersama dengan promosi langsung kepada pasien yang dilaksanakan di apotek.

"Telah dilakukan penelitian sebagai tugas khusus dalam Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker. Penelitian di RS Universitas Indonesia yaitu mengevaluasi penggunaan obat pasien Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) di instalasi farmasi rawat jalan. Hasil didapatkan dari metode analisis ABC, dan disimpulkan bahwa pada pemakaian obat peserta JKN di rawat jalan terdapat 19 obat Fast Moving, 626 obat Slow Moving, dan 384 obat-obat dead stock. Praktik kerja di BPOM tentang peran apoteker khususnya di Direktorat Pengawasan Obat Tradisional dan Suplemen Kesehatan, yaitu melakukan pengawasan terhadap informasi dan promosi, fasilitas produksi dan distribusi, serta keamanan dan mutu dari obat tradisional dan suplemen kesehatan. Penelitian di Apotek Roxy Sawangan yaitu menganalisis data penjualan obat antihipertensi periode bulan Mei – Juli 2021. Hasil didapatkan bahwa amlodipine 5 mg merupakan antihipertensi dengan penjualan tertinggi. Penelitian di PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari yaitu penambahan fitur pendaftaran klien pada aplikasi eZRX sebagai pengembangan digitalisasi yang dapat mempermudah klien maupun staff dalam proses pendaftaran.
