Abstrak :
The risk of accidents and disease transmission when working at hospitals is quite high, especially in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the relationship model between the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) climate and behavior intention in OSH performance to prevent needlestick injuries (NSI) based on a theory of planned behavior. A mixed approach using qualitative and quantitative methods was applied. Data were obtained from Structural Equation Model questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and interviews were analyzed qualitatively. The population was 1,042 nurses at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital in Yogyakarta. The sample consisted of 289 respondents determined by purposive random sampling with an accuracy level of 5%. The OSH climate consisted of attitude, norm, and perceived behavioral control effect on safety intention. An indirect OSH climate can influence safety performance, but it must be followed by intention. Intention directly affects safety performance in the form of behavior to implement NSI prevention procedures. Attitudes toward risk, attitudes toward leader commitment as role models, group norms, and beliefs in the ability to perform safety and health procedures determine the safety climate that leads to the intention for safe and healthy behavior in OSH performance.

Tesis ini membahas mengenai profil iklim K3 di Perusahaan XYZ Bisnis Unit Asia Tahun 2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui iklim K3 yang ada di XYZ Perusahaan multinasional yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan air minum dan air buangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada para Karyawan XYZ di di tiga negara yaitu China (termasuk Hongkong), Bangladesh dan Indonesia untuk kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode univariat dan bivariat terhadap variabel dependen dan independen yang digunakan. Hasil dari metode tersebut, kemudian dilakukan skoring terhadap berbagai variabel untuk kemudian dibuat grafik radar yang kemudian dianalisa oleh peneliti secara deskriptif. ...... This thesis discusses the health and safety climate profile in XYZ Company Business Unit Asia on 2014.This study aimed to determine the existing health and safety climate in the XYZ. This multinational company engaged in the field of water and waste water treatment. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the XYZ employees in three countries, namely China (including Hong Kong), Bangladesh and Indonesia to then analyzed using univariate and bivariate to the dependent and independent variables that are used. The results of these methods, then carried the scoring on a variety of variables and then graphed the radar which is then analyzed by researchers descriptively.
