"Eksploitasi secara berlebihan telah menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan populasi penyu. Permasalahan dalam konservasi penyu antara lain kurangnya pendanaan, keterlibatan masyarakat dan kurangnya efektivitas teknik konservasi penyu yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas konservasi penyu, menganalisis valuasi ekonomi tempat konservasi penyu menganalisis penerimaan masyarakat terhadap upaya konservasi penyu dan menyususn strategi keberlanjutan konservasi penyu di Pulau Kelapa Dua. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran dengan analisis deskriptif, serta metode SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan presentase keberhasilan penetasan telur penyu adalah sebesar 71,89%. Tempat konservasi memiliki fasilitas kolam pemeliharaan. Monitoring sarang penyu dilakukan sebanyak enam kali dalam setahun. Sumber pendanaan konservasi berasal dari pemerintah dan filantropi. Secara keseluruhan penerimaan masyarakat baik terhadap konservasi penyu. Strategi yang dapat dikembangkan untuk keberlanjutan konservasi adalah strategi diversifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa keberlanjutan konservasi penyu di Pulau Kelapa Dua dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan strategi diversifikasi dengan mempertimbangkan aspek ekologi penyu, ekonomi dan sosial. 

Over-exploitation has led to a decline in sea turtle populations. Problems in sea turtle conservation include more funding, community involvement, and the effectiveness of conservation techniques. This study aims to evaluate turtle conservation activities, analyze the economic valuation of turtle conservation sites, analyze community acceptance of turtle conservation efforts, and develop a strategy for the sustainability of turtle conservation on Kelapa Dua Island. The method used is a mixed method with descriptive analysis and SWOT method. The results showed the percentage of turtle egg-hatching success was 71.89%. The conservation site has a rearing pond facility. Turtle nest monitoring is carried out six times a year. Funding sources for conservation come from the government and philanthropy. Overall, community acceptance of turtle conservation is good. A diversification strategy can be developed for conservation sustainability. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that the sustainability of sea turtle conservation in Kelapa Dua Island can be achieved through the implementation of a diversification strategy by considering the ecological, economic, and social aspects of sea turtles."

"Semakin meningkatnya persaingan pasar global, maka dibutuhkan bagi organisasi untuk melakukan perbaikan dan mengembangkan keunggulan kompetitif. Telur dan kontaminasi adalah salah satu kendala utama untuk semua tempat penetasan di Indonesia karena dampak langsung pada kualitas Day Old Chick. Secara umum, anak ayam sehari (Day Old Chick) di Indonesia proses produksinya dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang kerangka kerja (framework) untuk kesiapan (readiness) Hatchery Automation sebagai dasar referensi perusahaan untuk menggunakan dan implmentasi teknologi otomasi di Industri Unggas khususnya Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini, kami mengusulkan konsep kesiapan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan menerapkan otomasi penetasan. Kerangka kerja ini dikembangkan menggunakan Analytic Network Process (ANP) untuk menganalisis kriteria kesiapan otomatisasi penetasan. Analytic Network Process (ANP), salah satu teknik Multi Criteria Decision Making, metode ini dikembangkan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor atau kriteria terpenting di antara kategori untuk kesiapan (readiness) Hatchery Automation.

The increase in the global market competition, it is necessary for organizations to make improvements to maintain and develop their competitive advantage. The eggs and contamination is one of the main constraints for all hatcheries in Indonesia due to its direct and massive impact of day old chick quality. In general, the process of producing day old chick in Indonesia is done manually. This research aims to develop of readiness framework Hatchery Automation as basis reference to the company to use automation technology in the Poultry Industries especially Indonesia. Therefore, in this study, we propose the concept of readiness to give understanding and apply about hatchery automation. The framework was developed using an Analytic Network Process (ANP) to analyses the criteria of readiness of hatchery automation. An Analytic Network Process (ANP), one of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, model is developed to determine the most important factors or criteria among the categories for the readiness hatchery automation.

"Many kinds of waste from poultry and fisheries by product such us
intestine and blood chicken also shrimp head waste still have high nutrition and
significant amounts. There are have high potency utilization as alternative feed
another commercial feed for marine worm aquaculture. The aims of this research
were to know effect different kinds waste material as feed to growth, survival rate,
and nutrient composition marine worm Nereis diversicolor. The research used
experimental design in laboratorium. Experimental unit were arranged in a
completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 6 replication for each
treatment. Kinds of feed were (A) intestine chicken powder; (B) shrimp head
powder; (C) blood chicken powder and (D) commercial fish feed as control. The
initial weight of worms were range between 0,67 ? 0,71 g, after cultured for 50
days showed weight gain were range between 0,31 ? 1,01 g, spesific growth rate
(SGR) 0,73 ? 1,76 %/day, and survival rate 80,56 ? 92,22%. The result of analisis
varian weight growth, spesific growth rate, and survival rate showed significant
differences. The best treatment was intestine chicken powder compare to the other
treatments. The result of proximate analysis such us protein were ranged between
6,37 ? 6,65%. The highest protein on treatment B, and lowest on treatment C.
The result of anova showed not significant diferences (P > 0,05) to value protein
worm. Value of fat on end exsperiment were ranged between 1,01 ? 2,34%. The
highest fat on treatment D and lowest on treatment C. The result of anova
showed significanct differences (P < 0,05) to value of fat worm. The conclusionof this research was all kind of feed from local waste material source can be as
alternative feed another commercial feed in marine worm aquaculture."
