Abstrak :
ABSTRAK Dalam pendidikan, anak perempuan berbakat harus berjuang melewati berbagai tantangan untuk bisa mengembangkan potensi terbaiknya. Untuk itu mereka harus memiliki ketangguhan agar terus dapat maju mendapatkan apa yang mereka inginkan. Tesis ini membahas mengenai pengaruh gender practice guru dan pola asuh orang tua sebagai tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi anak perempuan berbakat, serta pengaruhnya pada ketangguhan anak perempuan berbakat. Penelitian dilakukan pada 64 anak perempuan berbakat SMP. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua dengan pola asuh authoritarian (Sig. = 0.028) mempengaruhi adversity quotient anak perempuan berbakat. Sedangkan pola asuh authoritative, pola asuh permissive, dan gender practice guru tidak mempengaruhi adversity anak perempuan berbakat.
ABSTRACT Gifted girls must struggle through various challenges to develop their best potential in education. For this reason, they must have the strength to continue to get what they want. This thesis discusses the influence of teacher gender practice and parenting as challenges faced by gifted girls, and their influence on the resilience of gifted girls. The study was conducted on gifted girls (n=64) in junior high school. This research is a quantitative research with correlational studies. The results of the study show that parents with authoritarian parenting (Sig. = 0.028) have influence to gifted girls adversity quotient. Whereas authoritative parenting, permissive parenting, and gender teacher practice do not affect gifted girls adversity.
