Abstrak :
Pajanan kebisingan pada pekerja merupakan faktor risiko pekerjaan yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan dan keselamatan pekerja. PT. X merupakan industri komponen otomotif yang memiliki sumber kebisingan yang berasal dari proses produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan dengan gangguan non-auditory pada pekerja di PT. X, Cikarang, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain studi cross-sectional, dengan jumlah sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 48 pekerja. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Data intensitas kebisingan diperoleh dari Dokumen UKL-UPL Bulan Desember 2019 PT. X, sedangkan data karakteristik, perilaku, dan gangguan non-auditory pada pekerja diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah intensitas kebisingan di area produksi, variabel dependen adalah keluhan gangguan non-auditory, dengan karakteristik dan perilaku individu sebagai variabel confounding. Intensitas kebisingan PT. X berada di bawah NAB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 24 pekerja (50%) mengalami keluhan gangguan non-auditory. Analisis bivariat menggunakan chi-square menunjukkan intensitas kebisingan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan non-auditory (p value=0,019). Selain itu, variabel usia (p value=0,039), penggunaan APD (p value=0,042), dan hobi terkait bising (p value=0,021) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan non-auditory, sedangkan variabel jenis kelamin (p value=0,182) dan masa kerja (p value=0,562) tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan non-auditory pada pekerja di area mixing, preparation, dan with metal PT. X. Temuan pada penelitian ini menjadi acuan untuk meningkatkan pengendalian dan penanganan kebisingan dengan melakukan pengukuran kebisingan secara rutin, melakukan monitoring kesehatan pekerja baik auditory maupun non-auditory, dan penggunaan APD untuk pekerja yang terpajan kebisingan. ......Noise exposure is an occupational risk factor that can affect the health and safety of workers. PT. X is an automotive component industry that has a noise sources from the production process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of noise exposure and non-auditory effects in workers at PT. X, Cikarang, West Java. This study used a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional study design, with a total sample of 48 workers. Sampling was done by using proportionate stratified random sampling method. Noise intensity data were collected from Environment Permit (UKL-UPL) document in December 2019 PT. X, while the data on characteristics, behavior, and non-auditory effects in workers were collected from the questionnaire. The independent variable in this study is the intensity of noise exposure, the dependent variable is non-auditory effects, with individual characteristics and behavior as confounding variables. The noise intensity of PT. X is under the noise TLV. The results showed that 24 workers (50%) experienced complaints of non-auditory effects. Bivariate analysis using chi-square shows that the intensity of noise exposure has a significant relationship with non-auditory effects (p value = 0.019). In addition, the variable age (p value = 0.039), use of PPE (p value = 0.042), and noise-related hobbies (p value = 0.021) had a significant relationship with non-auditory effects, while the gender variable (p value = 0.182) and length of work (p value = 0.562) did not have a significant relationship with non-auditory effects in workers in the areas of mixing, preparation, and with metal PT. X. The findings in this study serve as a reference for improving noise control and handling by measuring noise regularly, monitoring the health of both auditory and non-auditory workers, and using PPE for workers exposed to noise.

Abstrak :

Paparan suara yang tidak diinginkan meningkat secara global karena pertumbuhan penduduk, urbanisasi, dan perkembangan teknologi. Bersamaan dengan itu, bukti ilmiah yang menghubungkan kebisingan lingkungan dengan masalah kesehatan mulai muncul. Paparan kebisingan yang berlebihan akan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup dan gangguan bising non-auditory pada penduduk di sekitar rel KRL antara stasiun Depok sampai dengan stasiun Tanjung Barat. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebisingan yang disebabkan oleh KRL di rumah penduduk yang terletak di sekitar rel KRL antara stasiun Depok sampai dengan stasiun Tanjung Barat dan menganalisis pengaruh kebisingan pada persepsi penduduk di sekitar rel KRL mengenai gangguan bising non-auditory. Data statistik memperlihatkan bahwa sebagian besar responden tidak mengalami gangguan non-auditory, selain itu hasil uji kolerasi juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada satu pun variabel (Jenis Kelamin, Umur dan Lama Tinggal) yang signifikan berpengaruh pada persepsi responden mengenai gangguan non-auditory, tetapi melalui pertanyaan lanjutan ditemukan bahwa terdapat keluhan yang sebenarnya mereka alami sebagai penduduk yang tinggal di sekitar rel. Kebisingan yang disebabkan oleh KRL di rumah penduduk yang terletak di sekitar rel KRL antara stasiun Depok sampai dengan stasiun Tanjung Barat menghasilkan nilai kebisingan yang melampaui baku mutu kebisingan dengan hasil rata-rata pengukuran menunjukkan untuk setiap waktu pengukuran ± 80,05 dBA.


Exposure to unwanted noise is increasing globally due to population growth, urbanization and technological developments. At the same time, scientific evidence which links environmental noise to health problems is starting to emerge. Excessive noise exposure will affect the quality of life and non-auditory noise disturbances in residents around the KRL rail between Depok station to Tanjung Barat station. KRL Commuterline is an electric commuter rail system serving the area of Greater Jakarta, Indonesia, and operated by a subsidiary of state-owned enterprise. This paper aimed to analyze the noise caused by KRL that occur to peoples house located around the KRL tracks between Depok stations and Tanjung Barat stations, and to analyze the effect of noise on the perceptions of residents around KRL rails regarding non-auditory noise disturbances. Correlation test and regression test were conducted to measure the relationship and effect between variables. Statistical data showed that most respondents did not experience non-auditory disorders. Besides, the correlation test results showed that none of the variables (Gender, Age and Length of Stay) significantly affected respondents perceptions of non-auditory disorders, but, through a follow-up question, it was found that there were complaints that they actually experienced as the residents who lived around the tracks. The noise caused by this  KRL, which occurred to peoples houses located around the KRL tracks between Depok station and Tanjung Barat station, resulted in a noise value that exceeds the noise quality standard with the average measurement results of (showing for each measurement time) ± 80.05 dBA.

Bising di tempat kerja dapat menimbulkan dampak terhadap sistem auditory maupun sistem non-auditory. PT X merupakan industri manufaktur yang mempunyai proses produksi yang menghasilkan bising. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dosis pajanan bising harian, usia, masa kerja, dan pemakaian alat pelindung telinga APT dengan gangguan non-auditory. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran dosis pajanan bising harian secara langsung di lapangan dan gangguan non-auditory melalui wawancara terstruktur. Hasil pengukuran dosis pajanan bising harian diketahui seluruh unit kerja yang diukur berada diatas NAB Nilai Ambang Batas . Di samping itu, hasil pengukuran gangguan non-auditory dari 52 responden diperoleh tingkat gangguan non-auditory berat sebanyak 59,6 dan gangguan non-auditory ringan sebanyak 40,4 . Analisis rata-rata dosis pajanan bising harian dengan gangguan non-auditory menggunakan uji-t diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pekerja yang mengalami tingkat gangguan non-auditory. Sedangkan analisis antara variabel usia, masa kerja, dan pemakaian APT dengan gangguan non-auditory diperoleh hubungan yang tidak signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan gangguan non-auditory yang dialami oleh pekerja lebih disebabkan oleh dosis pajanan bising harian. Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu mengendalikan gangguan non-auditory dengan menurunkan dosis pajanan bising harian yang ada hingga di bawah NAB.
Occupational Noise can cause either auditory system or non auditory system disorder. PT X is a manufacturing industry which has production process that produces noise. The purpose of this study is to observe the relationship between daily noise exposure dose, age, working time and utilization of hearing protection to non auditory disorders. Data collection was done by direct measurement for daily noise exposure dose and structural interview for non auditory disorders. The result from measurement of daily noise exposure dose in all working units showed the value above the Threshold Limit Value TLV . In the other hand, the result for non auditory disorder measurement showed 59.6 of 52 respondents suffered severe non auditory disorders and 40.4 suffered mild non auditory disorders. Analysis using T Test resulted in significant difference on means value of daily noise exposure dose between non auditory disorders levels. Furthermore, analysis of age, working time, and utilization of hearing protection to non auditory disorder resulted in insignificant relationship. Based on the result of the study, it could be concluded that non auditory disorder suffered by workers was mostly caused by daily noise exposure dose. Hence, the recommendation to control the non auditory disorders is to reduce daily noise exposure dose until lower than TLV.

Di tempat kerja, bising menjadi masalah yang dapat mengakibatkan dampak kesehatan terhadap sistem auditory maupun sistem non-auditory. Dipo Lokomotif Jatinegara merupakan perusahaan yang mempunyai proses perawatan lokomotif yang menghasilkan bising. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebisingan di Dipo Lokomotif Jatinegara dan mencari faktor-faktor seperti dosis pajanan bising harian, usia, masa kerja, hobi terkait bising, tempat tinggal bising dan perilaku merokok serta pemakaian alat pelindung telinga APT dengan terjadinya gangguan non-auditory. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran tingkat kebisingan pada sumber bising dan area dipo lokomotif serta dosis pajanan bising harian secara langsung di lapangan. Selain itu, gangguan non-auditory juga diukur melalui kuesioner. Hasil pengukuran tingkat kebisingan di area dipo lokomotif dan dosis pajanan bising harian diketahui pada seluruh unit kerja yang diukur berada diatas NAB nilai ambang batas. Hasil pengukuran gangguan non-auditory dari 63 responden diperoleh tingkat gangguan non-auditory berat sebanyak 26 orang 41.3 dan gangguan non-auditory ringan sebanyak 37 orang 58.7 . Analisis rata-rata dosis pajanan bising harian dengan gangguan non-auditory menggunakan uji T-Test diketahui bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pekerja yang mengalami tingkat gangguan non-auditory. Disamping itu, analisis antara variabel pemakaian alat pelindung telinga APT dengan gangguan non-auditory mendapatkan hasil hubungan yang signifikan. Sedangkan analisis antara variabel usia, masa kerja, hobi terkait bising, tempat tinggal bising dan perilaku merokok dengan gangguan non-auditory diperoleh hubungan yang tidak signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan gangguan non-auditory yang dialami pekerja lebih disebabkan oleh pemakaian alat pelindung telinga APT . Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu mengendalikan gangguan non-auditory dengan menurunkan dosis pajanan bising harian yang ada hingga dibawah NAB dan penggunaan alat pelindung telinga yang sesuai dan konsisten.
In the workplace, noise might become a problem affecting both auditory and as well as non auditory system. Dipo Locomotive Jatinegara is a company that has a locomotive maintenance process generating noise. This research aims to know the level of noise in the Dipo Locomotive Jatinegara and to find certain factors such as exposure to noise daily dose, age, period of employment, hobby related to noise, noisy residence, and smoking behavior, as well as usage of ear protectors tools in Indonesian known as Alat Pelindung Telinga APT factors and the occurrence of non auditory disorders. Data collection was done by measuring the noise level at the noise source and the area of the locomotive as well as the daily noise exposure dose directly in the field. In addition, the non auditory disorders also were measured through a questionnaire. The results of the measurements of noise levels in the area of exposure and daily noise exposure dose of the locomotive on the whole work unit which were finally known that the measurement was above NAB threshold value . The results of the measurement of the non auditory disorders consisted of 63 respondents obtaining a non auditory disorders weight level as much as 26 people 41.3 and other non auditory disorders as many as 37 people 58.7 . Analysis of the average of the daily noise exposure dose with the non auditory disorders used the T Test showed there was no significant difference between workers who experience non auditory disorders level. In addition, the analysis between variable usage of tools ear protectors APT and the non auditory disorders resulted on significant relationships. While the analysis between the variables age, period of employment, hobby related to the noise, noisy living place and the smoking behavior of non auditory disorders with the obtained relationship were not significant. Based on the results of the research, it could be concluded that a non auditory disorders experienced by workers are caused by the usage of ear protectors tools APT . The given recommendations is that namely the non auditory disorders control by lowering the dose of the daily noise exposure exists under the NAB and the use of ear protectors that are appropriate and consistent.

ABSTRAK
Gangguan non-auditory merupakan salah satu efek yang disebabkan oleh terpajan kebisingan selain gangguan auditory. Perbedaannya adalah jika pada gangguan auditory efeknya terjadi pada organ pendengaran, gangguan non-auditory efeknya berkaitan dengan respon tubuh salah satunya peningkatan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang melibatkan 30 orang pengemudi truk mixer sebagai subyek penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari data primer pengukuran kebisingan area dan dosis pajanan personal serta pengisian kuesioner untuk variabel umur, masa kerja, penggunaan Alat Pelindung Telinga (APT), gejala gangguan fisiologis, gangguan psikologis, dan gangguan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian secara statistik menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara umur pekerja dengan gejala gangguan fisiologis (p = 0,605), gangguan psikologis (p = 0,439), dan gangguan komunikasi (p = 1,000) dan antara masa kerja dengan gejala gangguan fisiologis (p = 0,301), gangguan psikologis (p = 1,000), dan gangguan komunikasi (p = 0,114). Pengendalian enjinering dan pemberian APT menjadi salah satu cara untuk mengurangi pajanan kebisingan.
ABSTRACT
Non-auditory effects are one of the effects caused by exposure to noise in addition to auditory effects. The difference is that if the auditory interference effect occurs in the organ of hearing, non-auditory effects disorders associated with body responses, one of them is an increase in blood pressure. This study design is using analytic study with cross sectional approach involving 30 people mixer truck drivers as research subjects. The data collected in this study is derived primarily from noise measurement in the area and personal noise dose as well as filling out the questionnaire for age, working period, the use of protective ear equipment (APT), physiological symptoms, psychological disorders, and disruption of communications. The results showed that there was no statistically significant relationship between workers age with physiological disturbances (p = 0.605), psychological disorders (p = 0.439), and communication disorders (p = 1.000) and between working period with physiological disturbances (p = 0.301), psychological disorders (p = 1.000), and communication disorders (p = 0.114). Engineering control and provision of APT are some of the ways to reduce the noise exposure.
