[ABSTRAK
Pendahuluan: Pekerja penyamakan kulit berpotensi terpajan oleh berbagai polutan pencemar udara, salah satunya kromium. Terhirupnya polutan kromium dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan seperti sesak nafas, batuk, penurunan fungsi paru, hingga kanker paru. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pajaran konsentrasi kromium di tempat kerja dengan gangguan fungsi paru. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional terhadap 61 orang pekerja penyamakan kulit di Sukaregang Kabupaten Garut. Kapasitas vital paksa (FVC) dan volume ekpirasi paksa satu detik (FEV1) diukur menggunakan spirometri Datospris mod 120 Sibelmed. Kromium total di tempat kerja diukur menggunakan low volume sampler dan dianalisis menggunakan atomic absorbtion spectrofotometry (AAS). Hasil: konsentrasi kromium total di tempat kerja berkisar antara 3.94-11.79 μg/m3. Kondisi fungsi paru pekera penyamakan kulit sebagaian besar masih besar masih dalam keadaan normal (FEV1/FVC>75%). Analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa masa kerja dan pajanan debu kromium meningkatkan risiko tejadinya fungsi paru pada pekerja, (p 0.024) dengan 95% CI (0.086-0.830). Kesimpulan: setelah dikontrol dengan masa kerja, pekerja yang terpajan kromium lebih besar, berisiko terkena gangguan fungsi paru.

Exposed by chromium can affect health status, such as shortness of breath, cough, decreased lung function, and lung cancer. Objective: to determine the relationship of chromium exposure in the workplace and worker?s pulmonary dysfunction. Method: this study used a cross-sectional design on 61 people working at tanneries in Sukaregang, Garut district. Lung function was measured by spirometry. Pencemaran udara yang berasal dari sektor transportasi, industri, dan aktivitas domestik menjadi masalah bagi kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Pengolahan semen banyak melepaskan partikulat di udara, ditambah dengan kegiatan transportasi untuk distribusinya. Menurut data yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan Puskesmas Klapanunggal dari tahun 2016-2018, penyakit gangguan pernapasan terbanyak berada di desa sekitar industri semen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan konsentrasi PM2,5 di dalam rumah dengan gangguan fungsi paru pada ibu rumah tangga di sekitar industri semen, Kecamatan Klapanunggal. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi cross-sectional yang dilaksanakan pada Bulan April-Mei 2018. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 97 orang ibu rumah tangga usia 20-55 tahun. Pengukuran konsentrasi PM2,5 dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat Haz-Dust EPAM 5000 dan pengukuran fungsi paru dilakukan dengan uji spirometri menggunakan alat spirometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata konsentrasi PM2,5 di udara rumah adalah 70,51 g/m3. Semua sampel mengalami gangguan fungsi paru restriktif dan 8,2 diantaranya mengalami gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara konsentrasi PM2,5 dengan gangguan fungsi paru restriktif pada ibu rumah tangga di Kecamatan Klapanunggal dengan nilai p=0,199. Perlu dilakukan monitoring dan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat mengenai cara menjaga kualitas udara rumah sekaligus bekerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi atau lembaga kesehatan lingkungan daerah setempat serta mengupayakan pemeriksaan fungsi paru secara berkala bagi masyarakat. ...... Air pollution from the transportation, industrial and domestic activities are problems for public health in Indonesia. Cement processing releases many particulates in the air, even with transport activities for its distribution. According to data obtained from the annual report of Klapanunggal Puskesmas from 2016 2018, most respiratory diseases are in the villages around the cement industry. This study aims to analyze the correlation of PM2.5 concentration in household with impaired lung function among housewife around cement industry area, Klapanunggal sub district. This study used a cross sectional study conducted in April May 2018. The sample size is 97 housewives aged 20 55 years. Measurement of PM2.5 concentration was done by using Haz Dust EPAM 5000 and pulmonary function measurement was done by spirometry test using spirometer tool. The results showed that the average concentration of PM2.5 in the house air was 70.51 g m3. All samples had impaired restrictive lung function and 8.2 of them had impaired obstructive lung function. The result of bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant correlation between PM2.5 concentration with restrictive lung function disorder in housewife in Kecamatan Klapanunggal with p value 0,199. Monitoring and counseling needs to be done to the public about how to maintain the quality of house air as well as working with local universities or environmental health agencies and seek fo regular lung function checks for the community.

ABSTRAK
Gangguan fungsi paru merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang diperkirakan menjadi penyebab ketiga kematian di dunia pada Tahun 2030. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan panjanan partikulat (PM2,5) terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada ibu rumah tangga di sekitar kawasan pabrik semen Desa Citeuruep, Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 100 orang ibu rumah tangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 57 orang ibu rumah tangga memiliki gangguan fungsi paru, 55% berumur lebih dari 40 tahun, 58% memiliki status gizi tidak normal, 59% memiliki ventilasi rumah tidak memenuhi syarat, 70% anggota keluarga merupakan perokok aktif, 67% menetap dirumah dengan jarak dari pabrik semen memiliki risko akan paparan debu, 100% Kelembaban rumah ibu rumah tangga tidak memenuhi syarat. Ibu rumah tangga yang terpajanan partikulat (PM2,5) tidak memenuhi syarat sebanyak 56,4% mengalami gangguan fungsi paru. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa semua varibel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada ibu rumah tangga. Upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan sosialisasi kepada ibu rumah tangga untuk melakukan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Selain itu, pihak puskesmas dapat melakukan penyuluhan terkait rumah sehat, pola konsumsi gizi seimbang serta inspeksi snaitasi rumah secara berkala.
ABSTRACT
Lung function disorders is a non-commucibale disease which is estimated to be the third leading cause of death in the world in 2030. This research aims to analyze the relationship of particulate exposure (PM2,5) with lung function disorders in housewife around the cement factory area in Citeureup, Bogor Regency. The study uses a cross-sectional study design. The number of samples in this study were 1000 housewives. The result showed that 57 housewives had lung function disorders, 55% were over 40 years old, 58% had abnormal nutritional status, 59% had inadequate home ventilation, 70% of family members were active smokers, 67% settled at home with a distance from the semen factory has a risk of dust exposure, 100% humidity housewife does not qualify. Housewives who were exposed to particulate matter (PM2,5) did not meet the requirements as many as 56,4% experienced lung function disorders .Statistical result showed that all variables in this research did not have a significant relationship to lung function disorders in housewives. Prevention efforts that can be done is to socialize to housewives to do a clean and healthy lifestyle. In addition, the Puskesmas Citeureup can conduct counseling related to healthy homes, balanced nutrition consumption patterns and periodic home sanitation inspections.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai gangguan fungsi paru yang terjadi pada pekerja bengkel yang terpajan dengan uap cat untuk mengetahui gambaran gangguan fungsi paru disana. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian semi kuantitatif dengan metode cross-sectional terhadap 25 pekerja yang diukur fungsi parunya menggunakan spirometri dan diwawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil keseluruhan survei terhadap 25 pekerja bengkel body repair terdapat 1 orang dari bagian color matching dan 6 orang dari bagian painting yang mengalami gangguan fungsi paru. ...... This study focused about lung function disorders in workers of X body repair workshop who exposed by car spray to find out the overview of lung function disorders. This study is a semi-quatitative study with cross-sectional method to the 25 workers. The lung function is assessed by spirometry and were interviewed by using quiestionnaire. The results showed that 1 worker in color matching and 6 workers in painting suffer lung function disorders.

Latar Belakang: Banyaknya industri jamu menimbulkan masalah baik bagi lingkungan berupa pencemaran maupun bagi kesehatan para pekerja. Dari proses produksi jamu, banyak dihasilkan debu. Hal ini tentunya dapat menimbulkan gangguan bagi kesehatan pekerja di pabrik tersebut. Kualitas udara sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan pekerja, terutama yang berhubungan dengan fungsi pernapasannya dikarenakan sistem pernapasan terus-menerus terpajan oleh partikel-partikel yang ada di udara. Obyektif: Mengetahui prevalensi gangguan fungsi paru akibat pajanan debu jamu serta faktor-faktor yang berhubungan pada pekerja di pabrik jamu PT.X, Semarang. Metode: Penelitian potong lintang dengan mengukur fungsi paru pekerja pabrik jamu PT.X Semarang pada bulan November dan Desember 2014 dengan menggunakan spirometri dan mengukur kadar debu lingkungan kerja. Sampel yang dikumpulka sebanyak 100 responden untuk pengukuran fungsi paru dan 4 lokasi untuk pengukuran kadar debu lingkungan kerja. Hasil dan Kesimpulan: Ditemukan gangguan obstruksi paru ringan sebanyak 1%. Tidak ditemukan gangguan restriksi paru ataupun gangguan fungsi paru kombinasi. Faktor risiko yang bermakna terhadap rasio VEP1/KVP adalah Umur (p < 0,01; selisih rerata 6,48% (-8,91 sampai -4,06)), Jenis kelamin (p = 0,016; selisih rerata -3,72 (-6,73 sampai -0,71)), Pendidikan (p = 0,01; selisih rerata 5,02 (2,21 sampai 7,83)), dan Masa Kerja (p = 0,01; selisih rerata -4,77 (-8,4 sampai -1,13)). ......Background: Indonesian traditional herbal medicine industries cause many problems to environment and workers? health. Traditional herbal medicine production process produces many organic dusts. The organic dusts could lead to health disorder among factory workers. Air quality very influential to workers health, especially those that associated to respiratory function since it?s been exposed to air particles. Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of lung function disorder and its related factors due to dust exposure in one of Indonesian traditional herbal medicine factory. Method: This was a cross sectional study performed by examining 100 workers? lung function using spirometry and examining environment dust level from one of Indonesia traditional herbal medicine factory in November to December 2014. Result: There was 1% prevalence of mild obstructive lung disease but there were no restrictive or combined lung diseases. Bivariate analysis showed that Age {p < 0,01; mean difference 6,48% (-8,91 to -4,06)}, Sex {p = 0,016; mean difference -3,72 (-6,73 to -0,71)}, Education {p = 0,01; mean difference 5,02 (2,21 to 7,83)}, and Years of service {p = 0,01; mean difference -4,77 (-8,4 to -1,13)} were the risk factors to ratio of VEP1/KVP.

ABSTRAK
Konsentrasi PM2,5 di udara dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan apabila terhirup oleh manusia karena akan terdeposit ke dalam alveoli yang akan menimbulkan reaksi radang yang mengakibatkan daya kembang paru menjadi terbatas dan menurunkan fungsi paru pada manusia. Pekerja yang bekerja di industri kerajinan batu ukir mempunyai risiko tinggi terpajan oleh PM2,5 yang dihasilkan dari proses pemotongan, pembentukan dan penghalusan menggunakan gerinda. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan pajanan debu PM2,5 terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada pekerja dengan desain studi cross sectional yang dilakukan pada seluruh pekerja industri kerajinan batu ukir yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi di desa Allakuang, Kecamatan Maritengngae, Kabupaten Sidrap sebanyak 100 orang. Pemeriksaan faal paru menggunakan spirometri sedangkan pengukuran konsentrasi PM2,5 di ruang kerja menggunakan Haz dust EPAM 5000. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara konsentrasi PM2,5 dengan gangguan fungsi paru (4,17 ;1,68- 10,38). Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi adalah masa kerja (2,41; 1,05-5,52) dan kecepatan angin (4,77 ;1,93-11,77). Pada analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa pekerja yang bekerja pada lingkungan kerja dengan konsentrasi PM2,5 yang tidak memenuhi syarat memiliki risiko 6,86 kali menderita gangguan fungsi paru setelah dikontrol dengan variabel kecepatan angin, kelembaban, suhu, masa kerja dan penggunaan APD. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan didapatkan hubungan bermakna antara tingkat pajanan debu batu dengan gangguan fungsi paru. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengendalian terhadap pajanan debu batu dan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipergunakan sebagai acuan pelaksanaan program kesehatan dan keselamatan pada pekerja serta pelaksanaan monitoring lingkungan kerja serta surveilans kesehatan kerja.
ABSTRACT
PM2,5 concentration on the air can affect health when inhaled by human. It will be deposited in the alveoli that could inflict an inflammatory reaction that cause reduce lung volume and decreasing the lung function in human. Workers who work in stone carving craft industry had a high risk of PM2,5 exposure that resulted from the process of cutting, forming and refining by using grinder. This cross sectional study purposed to assess the relationship between exposure of PM2,5 dust and impaired lung function among 100 workers who had fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the Allakuang village, Maritengngae subdistrict, Sidrap District, South Sulawesi Province. Lung function was assessed by spirometry. PM2,5 concentration in the workspace was assessed by Haz dust EPAM 5000. Logistic regression analysis was carried out and showed a significant correlation between the PM2,5 concentration with impaired lung function (4,2; 1,68- 10.38). Another determinant factor was the work duration (2.4; 1,05-5,52) and wind speed (4,8; 1.93-11.77). Multivariate analysis showed that worker who work on the work space with high concentration of PM2,5 tend to have 6.86 times higher risk of suffering from impaired lung function after adjusted by wind speed, humidity, temperature, work duration and using PPE (Personal protective equipment). There was significant association between the level of dust exposure with impaired lung function. Hence, it is necessary to control the dust exposure.The finding of this study could be used as a consideration of health and safety programs implementation among workers and monitoring the implementation of work space and also the surveillance of occupational health.

Latar Belakang: Salah satu polutan indoor yang menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat adalah formaldehid. Pemajanan formaldehid dalam ruang dapat menyebabkan gangguan fungsi paru. Anak-anak dan remaja menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di lingkungan indoor terutama di sekolah. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara konsentrasi formaldehid dalam ruang dengan gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama SMP di Depok tahun 2018. Metode: Studi cross-sectional potong lintang dilakukan di tiga SMP Depok. Sampel penelitian adalah 150 siswa yang diambil dengan multistage sampling. Pengukuran konsentrasi formaldehid menggunakan alat direct reading yaitu FormaldemeterTM htv dan kondisi fungsi paru diperoleh melalui pemeriksaan dengan alat spirometer. Analisis secara bivariat dengan metode chi square. Hasil: Nilai rata-rata konsentrasi formaldehid adalah 0,038 ppm dan fungsi paru FEV1/FVC siswa SMP di Depok yaitu 94,31. Tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara konsentrasi formaldehid dalam ruang dengan gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor risiko lain status gizi, aktivitas fisik, perilaku merokok, perokok dalam rumah, dan penggunaan obat nyamuk dengan gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif. Siswa dengan aktivitas fisik yang rendah berisiko 1,253 kali mengalami gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif dibandingkan siswa yang aktivitas fisiknya cukup CI: 0,203-7,725. Siswa yang menggunakan obat nyamuk berisiko 1,898 kali mengalami gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan obat nyamuk CI: 0,308-11,705. Kesimpulan: Konsentrasi formaldehid pada SMP di Depok masih berada di bawah Nilai Ambang Batas dan tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan fungsi paru obstruktif. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan gejala kesehatan lain yang disebabkan oleh pajanan formaldehid dan uji fungsi paru jenis lainnya. ...... Background: One of the indoor pollutants that is a public health problem is formaldehyde. Formaldehyde exposure may cause lung function impairment. Children and adolescents spend most of their time in indoor environments, especially in schools. Objective: To examine the association between indoor formaldehyde concentrations with obstructive pulmonary function impairment among Junior High School students in Depok, 2018. Methods: Cross sectional studies were conducted at three SMP in Depok. Sample of research is 150 students taken with multistage sampling. Measurement of formaldehyde concentrations using direct reading tool FormaldemeterTM htv and condition of lung function obtained through inspection with spirometer. Bivariate analysis with chi square method. Results: Mean value of formaldehyde concentration is 0,038 ppm and mean lung function FEV1 FVC of Junior High School students in Depok was 94,31. There was no significant association between indoor formaldehyde concentrations with obstructive pulmonary function impairment. There was no significant association between other risk factors nutritional status, physical activity, smoking behavior, smokers in the house and the use of mosquito repellent with obstructive pulmonary function impairment. Students with low physical activity at risk 1,253 times higher to experience obstructive pulmonary function impairment than students with moderate physical activity CI 0.203 7.725. Students using mosquito repellent at risk 1,898 times higher than did not use mosquito repellent CI 0,308 11,705. Conclusion: The concentration of formaldehyde at SMP in Depok remained below the Threshold Value and no significant association was found with obstructive pulmonary function impairment. It is strongly recommended to do further research with other health symptoms caused by formaldehyde exposure and other types of lung function tests.

Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat hubungan konsentrasi PM2,5 udara ambien terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada pedagang tetap di Terminal Kampung Rambutan Kota Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PM2,5 ambien mencapai 89 μg/m3. Didapatkan proporsi gangguan paru sebesar 79% (tipe retrikstif 73% dan campuran resktriktif dan obstruktif 6%) dari 68 responden. Tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara konsentrasi PM2,5 dengan gangguan fungsi paru pada pedagang di Terminal Kampung Rambutan (p value= 0,215, CI: 0,555-13,700). Ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara status merokok (p=0,015) dan waktu kerja (p value = 0,047) dengan gangguan fungsi paru. Tidak terdapat satupun faktor lain seperti riwayat penyakit, durasi kerja, umur dengan kejadian gangguan fungsi paru pada pedagang di Terminal Kampung Rambutan. Selanjutnya diperlukan adanya perbaikan lingkungan terminal, perubahan perilaku merokok dan kerjasama multisektor terkait pencegahan penyakit. ......This study aims to determine the relationship between ambient air PM2.5 concentrations to impaired lung function among sellers at Kampung Rambutan Bus Station, Jakarta City. The results showed ambient PM2.5 reached 89 μg / m3. The proportion of impaired lung function was 79% of 68 respondents (restrictive type 73% and restrictive and obstructive mixture 6%). There was no significant relationship between PM2.5 concentration and impaired lung function in Kampung Rambutan Bus Station seller (p value = 0.215, CI: 0.555-13,700). It was found there is significant relationship between smoking status (p = 0.015) and work time (p value = 0.047) with impaired lung function. There were no other factors such as disease history, duration of work, and age with the occurrence of impaired lung function among sellers at Kampung Rambutan Bus Station. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve the terminal environment, change smoking behavior and multisector cooperation related to disease prevention.

Tesis ini membahas pengaruh pajanan polusi udara dan karakteristik individu terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada 45 polisi lalu lintas lapangan dan polisi bagian administrasi dan SIM. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain studi crossectional dan analisis bivariat Chi Square. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penugasan kerja (OR=1,63), umur (OR=1,83), status gizi (OR=2,29), lama kerja seminggu (OR=9,20), riwayat penyakit (OR=2,50), kebiasaan merokok (OR=1,29) dan penggunaan APD (OR=1,83) terhadap gangguan fungsi paru pada polisi. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa perlu adanya pemeriksaan spirometri secara berkala, peningkatan program penyelenggaraan alat pelindung diri, pengontrolan berat badan, dan upaya promosi serta preventif kesehatan. ...... This thesis discusses the effects of air pollution exposure and individual characteristics of the pulmonary function impairment in 45 field traffic police and administration police and SIM. This quantitative study used crossectional study design and bivariat analysis Chi Square. This study shows the effect of job assignment (OR = 1,63), age (OR = 1,83), nutritional status (OR = 2,29), long working week (OR = 9,20), disease history (OR = 2,50), smoking (OR = 1,93) and use of PPE (OR = 1,29) on pulmonary function impairment in the police. The results of the study suggest the need of regular spirometry screening, improved implementation of PPE program, weight control, and health promotion and prevention.

Abstrak :
Salah satu penyebab terjadinya gangguan fungsi paru yaitu pajanan debu batubara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan pajanan debu batubara dan gangguan fungsi paru pada pekerja. Metode yang digunakan desain Cross Sectional dengan sampel 72 pekerja. Gangguan fungsi paru diperoleh dari data kesehatan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan fungsi paru restriksi 8,3%, obstruksi 2,8%, dan kombinasi 2,8%. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan gangguan fungsi paru berhubungan dengan masa kerja (p = 0,46). Namun pajanan debu batubara, umur, dan penggunaan alat pelindung pernapasan, ada kecenderungan untuk menjadi faktor risiko terjadinya gangguan fungsi paru. ...... One of the causes of lung function disorder in health problems is coal dust exposure. This study aims to describe the relationship of coal dust exposure and lung function disorder in workers. The method used cross-sectional design with a sample of 72 workers. Lung function disorder data is obtained from the company health data. The results of this research showed that the restriction of pulmonary function disorder 8.3%, obstruction 2,8%, and a combination of restriction and obstruction 2.8%. Bivariate analysis showed lung function disorder associated with year of work experience (p=0,46). However, coal dust exposure, age, and the using of respiratory protective equipment showed there is a tendency to get risk for lung fungtion disorders.
