"Penyimpangan pada skala frekuensi 9-150 kHz biasa ditemukan di peralatan rumah tangga yang menggunakan teknik switching pada pengoperasiannya. Harmonik di frekuensi rendah adalah fenomena yang terjadi pada distribusi tenaga listrik yang mempengaruhi kualitas daya pada sistem. Tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi efek dari harmonik pada frekuensi rendah orde ketiga terhadap penyimpangan pada skala frekuensi 9-150 kHz yang diproduksi oleh peralatan rumah tangga. Skripsi ini fokus kepada efek dari harmonik orde ketiga terhadap penyimpangan saat besaran dan sudut fasa dari harmonik orde ketiga berubah. Hasil dari skripsi ini menunjukkan hubungan antara besaran dari harmonik orde ketiga dan besaran penyimpangan, dan efek dari nilai puncak dari sinyal saat sudut fasa dari harmonik orde ketiga diubah. Hasil dari pengukuran akan diperlihatkan dan didiskusikan.

Distortion in frequency range of 9 150 kHz is generally found in household appliances which used switching techniques in their operation. Low frequency harmonics are a phenomenon which occurred in the electrical power distribution that affecting the power quality of the system. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the effect of the low frequency harmonics third order harmonics to the distortion in frequency range of 9 150 kHz produced by household appliance.

This thesis focused on the effect of the third order harmonics to the distortion when the amplitude and the phase angle of the third order harmonics is varying. The results show the correlation between the amplitude of low frequency harmonics and the amplitude of distortion, and the effect of peak value of signal when the phase angle of low frequency harmonics is shifted. Results of measurements are shown and discussed. "
