ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurship education terhadap entrepreneurial intention mahasiswa dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari data primer melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan responden sebanyak 195 mahasiswa program studi bisnis atau manajemen di Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Prasetya Mulya, dan Universitas Bina Nusantara dengan menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis causal-step dan sobel test untuk mengguji pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh mediasi di antara variabel-variabel kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurship education mempengaruhi entrepreneurial intention mahasiswa secara signifikan, dimana self-efficacy memediasi secara parsial hubungan entrepreneurship education terhadap entrepreneurial intention mahasiswa. Temuan ini dapat membantu Pemerintah Indonesia merumuskan kebijakan dan program guna mendorong mahasiswa untuk mengejar karir kewirausahaan, yang mana dapat mengurangi ketergantungan besar mereka pada pekerjaan konvensional dan dengan demikian mengurangi pengangguran. Temuan ini juga bermanfaat bagi universitas dan lembaga pendidikan tinggi lainnya, dimana universitas dan institusi pendidikan tinggi dapat mempertimbangkan untuk merancang kurikulum, program, dan mata kuliah kewirausahaan.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on student entrepreneurial intention with self-efficacy as a mediation variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research data are obtained from primary data through questionnaires with respondents as many as 195 students majoring in business or management of University of Indonesia, Prasetya Mulya University, and Bina Nusantara University by using the quota sampling technique. This study uses causal-step and sobel tests to examine the direct and mediation influence among key variables. The results of the study show that entrepreneurship education influences student entrepreneurial intention significantly, where self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurship education and student entrepreneurial intention. This finding can help the Government of Indonesia to formulate policies and programs that encourage students to pursue entrepreneurial careers, which can reduce their large dependence on conventional jobs and thereby reduce unemployment. This finding is also beneficial for universities and other higher education institutions, where universities and higher education institutions can consider designing curriculum, program, and entrepreneurship courses.

The central theme of the conference is creativity and innovation, especially in relation to technology, business, education, social and political needs that make modern society flourish. The proceedings feature papers from a cross-disciplinary audience that explore the process of creativity and innovation. The goal is that the various disciplines can learn from each other and see how they might benefit from the cross-fertilization of practices.

Entrepreneurship has an impact on the economic development in a country and encourages entrepreneurship education at the university level. The current research illustrates the model of entrepreneurship education applied in universities. This research uses the post-positivism approach dominated by description of qualitative analysis. The data is gathered through extensive interviews and literature research at five universities in Indonesia: Universitas Indonesia, Sekolah Tinggi Prasetiya Mulya, Universitas Ciputra, Universitas Bina Nusantara, and Universitas Trisakti (for its Master?s Degree Program in Management for Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Entrepreneurship). These universities are selected due to the unique entrepreneurship education models integrated into their vision and mission. In addition, the current research includes reviews of the entrepreneurship education models in National University of Singapore dan University Kebangsaan Malaysia. The results show that the entrepreneurship education model applied at each university has unique added values and local wisdom in accordance with each university?s vision, mission, and objectives. It is our hope that the current research may serve as a contribution for policymakers in choosing the entrepreneurship education model that best complies with the university?s vision and mission as well as with the requirements of the academia.
