"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengestimasi dampak perubahan harga energi pada konsumsi energi rumah tangga,  kelompok masyarakat berdasarkan karakteristik rumah tangga akibat adanya perubahan harga energy, dan menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi energi rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, serta menggunakan metode analisis ekonometrika data panel untuk mengestimasi sistem permintaan. Penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi panel data. Hasil studi dengan menggunakan metode random effect model dapat dilihat dampak perubahan harga energi terhadap konsumsi energi rumah tangga, dimana konsumsi energi rumah tangga untuk bbm dan listrik sangat dipengaruhi oleh harga energi itu sendiri dan pendapatan rumah tangga. Untuk elastisitas kedua jenis energi yang di estimasi (bbm dan listrik) mempunyai nilai elastisitas pendapatan (pengeluaran)  yang kurang dari satu (<1) yang berimplikasi bahwa kedua barang energi tersebut merupakan barang normal atau barang pokok.

In this study we estimate the impact of changes in energy prices on household energy consumption, community groups based on household characteristics due to changes in energy prices, and analyze the factors that influence household energy consumption. This study uses a quantitative approach and panel data econometric analysis methods to estimate the demand system. The study used panel data regression analysis techniques. The results can be seen the impact of changes in energy prices on household energy consumption, household energy consumption for fuel and electricity is strongly influenced by the energy price itself and household income. For the elasticity of the two estimated types of energy (fuel and electricity) they have an income (expenditure) elasticity value of less than one (<1) which implies that the two energy goods are normal goods or basic goods."

"Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak Return komoditas energi - khususnya Crude Oil, Coal, dan Natural Gas - terhadap Return indeks S&P Southeast Asia 40 sebelum dan sesudah COVID-19. Penelitian ini mencakup periode sebelum COVID-19 (2016–2019) dan periode selama dan setelah COVID-19 (2020–2023), dengan menggunakan model Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH (1,1)). Penelitian ini berfokus pada Emerging Markets Asia Tenggara, yang meliputi negara Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, dan Thailand. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Return Crude Oil memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Return indeks S&P Southeast Asia 40, terutama pada periode pasca-COVID-19. Namun, harga Coal dan Natural Gas tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik dengan indeks S&P Southeast Asia 40. Penelitian ini menunjukkan peran penting Crude Oil sebagai penggerak utama kinerja Emerging Markets di Asia Tenggara.

.This research investigates the impact of energy commodity prices – specifically oil, coal, and natural gas – on the returns of the S&P Southeast Asia 40 Index before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Covering the pre-COVID-19 period (2016–2019) and the post-COVID-19 era (2020–2023), the research analyzes the relationship between these energy prices and the index's performance using the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH (1,1)) model. The research focuses on emerging markets within Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. The findings indicate that crude oil prices continue to exert a significant positive influence on the index returns, particularly in the post-COVID-19 period. However, coal and natural gas prices do not show a statistically significant relationship with the index. The research highlights the enduring role of crude oil as a key driver of market performance in Southeast Asia."

"Pada 2019, mengikuti estimasi yang dikembangkan oleh Modi et. Al. (2005), 4,47% dan 14,07% rumah tangga di perkotaan dan pedesaan, masing-masing, masih berada dalam status miskin energi di seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. Untuk mengungkap faktor-faktor apa saja yang berkorelasi dengan kejadian kemiskinan energi di Indonesia, studi ini menganalisis determinan kemiskinan energi tingkat rumah tangga di Indonesia dengan memanfaatkan data sosial ekonomi tingkat rumah tangga (Susenas) tahun 2015 hingga 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai pendekatan untuk mengukur kemiskinan energi untuk mengumpulkan perspektif yang lebih kaya tentang kejadian kemiskinan energi di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan regresi logistik dengan efek tetap yang besar, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hubungan antara kejadian kemiskinan energi dengan variabel sosial ekonomi dan demografi rumah tangga, serta harga energi modern dan alternatif, bervariasi di berbagai pengukuran dan estimasi perkotaan-pedesaan.

In 2019, following the estimation developed by Modi et. al. (2005), 4.47% and 14.07% of households in urban and rural areas, respectively, were still enduring energy-poor status across regions in Indonesia. To unpack what factors that correlate with the incidence of energy poverty in Indonesia, this study analyzes the determinants of household-level energy poverty in Indonesia by utilizing Indonesia’s household-level socioeconomic data (SUSENAS) in 2015 until 2019. This study uses multiple approaches to measure energy poverty in order to collect a richer perspective regarding the incidence of energy poverty in Indonesia. By using logistic regression with large fixed effects, this study discovers that the association between the incidence of energy poverty with household’s socio-economic and demographic variables, as well as modern and alternative energy prices, vary across different measurements and urban-rural estimations."
