"Untuk memenuhi semua keinginan emosional dan fungsional klien, empati menjadi faktor penting dalam proses perancangan arsitektur. Namun, besarnya utilisasi teknologi dalam proses perancangan arsitektur telah merevolusi bagaimana arsitek mendesain dan menjauhkan arsitektur dari kehidupan. Virtual Reality adalah dunia digital 3 dimensi immersive yang diklaim oleh Chris Milk sebagai mesin yang bisa menghasilkan empati satu sama lain. Teknologi ini diharapkan dapat menghubungkan kembali hubungan yang putus antara arsitektur dan manusia. Skripsi ini menampilkan tiga buah studi kasus pemanfaatan VR dalam proses perancangan empatik arsitektur. Dengan merefleksi teori kerangka kerja desain empatik pada studi kasus, pemanfaatan VR terbukti mampu mendukung 2 strategi utama yang penting dalam melakukan proses perancangan arsitektur empatik. Yaitu, penyediaan bahasa bersama dan pemodelan empatik. Meski menurut analisis VR terbukti bisa membantu kedua faktor tersebut, pemanfaatan VR tidak dapat menjamin solusi desain yang sukses karena aspek lain dari proses desain dan keterbatasan VR. Skripsi ini memberikan rekomendasi penggunaan VR dalam proses desain empatik untuk mengendalikan keterbatasan VR.

To fulfill all the emotional and functional desire of client, empathy becomes an essential factor in architecture design process. However, the great amount of technology utilization in architecture design process has been revolutionizing how architects design and distant architecture from life. Virtual Reality is an immersive 3 dimensional digital world which claimed by Chris Milk as a machine that could generate empathy towards each other. This technology are hoped to be able to reconnects the broken string between architecture and human. This thesis provides three experiments of VR utilization in architecture empathic design process. By reflecting the theory of empathic design framework to the study cases, the utilization of VR is found to able to support 2 key strategies important in performing an architecture empathic design process. That is, shared language and empathic modeling. Although according to the analysis VR is proven to be able to aid these two factors, the utilization of VR cannot guarantee a successful design solution due to other aspects of design process and VR limitations. This thesis provides recommendations to use VR for empathic design process to control the limitations of VR."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan atau perubahan perilaku prososial anaJk usia empat sampai enam tahun di TK Tartiila setelah inemperoleh intervensi prog am pembe ajara nilai empti. Jenis penelittan yang dipilih adalah before and after study design oengan menggunakan disain satu kelompoit subjek penelitian ( r.me gro.up pre test and post tes f design). Subjek penelitian seba yak 30 orang murid TK Ta iila Kelompok A dan B. ntervensi pembelajaran ni ai empati menggunakan model pembelajaran konstruif-belajar aktif yang mengu amakan keterlibatan aktif anak dalam seluruh rangkaian aktivitas belajar, terutama melalui kegiatan bermain di kelompok. Materi pe belajaran yaitu nilai empat' yang mendorong perilaku prososial yang meliputi; :geduli terfiadap orang lain dan memahami orang lain, berbagi, menolong, dan kerjasama tlengan orang lain. Kegiatan intervensi pembelajaran an perilaku prososial dilakukan selama tiga hari di TK Tartiila, ymtu pada tanggal 14 Mei sampai tanggal 1 Mei 2012. Dari hasil uji beda rata-rata s or serta nilai t yang dihasilkan pada pengujian skor pre test dan post test terdapat peningkatan perilaku prososial dengan hasil yang signifikan pada l.o.s. 0.0.1, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract
This study aims to nderstand the change of prosocial l5ehavior of children at age of four to six years at Tartiila Kindergarden after the interyention of learning o empathic value. he type of research has ben used in this study is the before and afi er study design it one group pre test and posĀ· test des1g. Subject of this research eomposed of 30 students of Ta iila Kinde garden at {J-rou :A atld B. The intervention of empathic value learning using constructive-active learning model with actively involvement o:f the children imto all process of learning activities, especial y through group-playinCemtent of learning is empathic :va ue which increase prosocial behavior using four indicators: 'hderstan[ing and caring of others, sharing, helping, and cooperation with others. Learning activities whic improve prosocial behavior of children has been carried out for three day, from 14 through 16 of May. Data analysis of comparing mean scores and t val e of pre est ana ost test scoring has showed the increase of prosocial behavior of children at significance level at l.o.s. 0.0.1., therefore Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Perceived Empathic Self-Efficacy dengan Volunterisme pada volunter di bidang pendidikan. Variabel perceived empathic self-efficacy diukur dengan Perceived Empathic Self-Effiacy Scale (PESE) dan variabel volunterisme diukur dengan menggunakan skala Volunterisme. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sebanyak 100 orang partisipan usia remaja dan dewasa muda. "ABSTRAK
Closeness hubungan guru dan anak di PAUD merupakan hal yang memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan anak dengan sekolah, peningkatan prestasi akademis, perilaku prososial serta mengurangi perilaku bermasalah anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan closeness dalam hubungan guru dan anak di PAUD melalui pelatihan active empathic listening skill. Partisipan penelitian adalah empat orang guru PAUD. Hubungan guru diukur berdasarkan persepsi guru terhadap hubungannya dengan anak. Masing-masing guru akan dilihat persepsi hubungannya dengan lima anak didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil pengolahan data statistik menunjukkan adanya perubahan sangat signifikan pada kenaikan tingkat closeness hubungan guru dan anak antara pre test dan post test 1 z = -3.560, p = 0.000 < 0,01 , serta post test 1 dengan post test 2 z = -3.220, p = 0.001 < 0,05 . Sedangkan skor active empathic listening skill menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara pre test dan post test 1 z = -1.826, p = 0.34 < 0,05 dan tidak ada peningkatan signifikan antara post test 1 dengan post test 2 z = -1.342, p = 0.090 > 0,05 .

ABSTRACT
Closeness in teachers child relationship in early childhood education has a positive impact in increasing the involvement of children with school, improve academic achievement, prosocial behavior and reduce child problem behavior. This study aims to improve closeness in teacher child relationship in early childhood education through active empathic listening skills training. Participants are four early childhood education teachers. Teacher child relationships are measured based on teachers 39 perceptions of their relationship with children. Teachers fill the questionnaire by her perception of her relationship with 5 children. This research uses quasi experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The results of statistical data processing showed a very significant change in the increase of closeness level of teacher child relationship between pretest and post test 1 z 3.560, p 0.000 0,01 , and post test 1 with post test 2 z 3.220, p 0.001 0,05 . Active empathic listening skill showed significant improvement between pre test and post test 1 z 1.826, p 0.34 0,05 and no significant improvement between post test 1 and post test 2 z 1.342, p 0.090 0,05 ."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menurunkan burnout pengasuh di Panti Sosial Marsudi Putra (PSMP) "X" Jakarta yang merehabilitasi anak berkebutuhan khusus juvenile delinquency dengan meningkatkan dukungan sosial di tempat kerja melalui pelatihan empathic listening skill dan constructive feedback skill. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group pre test ? post test. Hasil analisis data menunjukan intervensi pelatihan empathic listening skill dan constructive feedback skill belum berhasil meningkatkan dukungan sosial di tempat kerja dan belum berhasil menurunkan seluruh dimensi burnout. Namun pelatihan empathic listening skill saja yang telah berhasil menurunkan dimensi depersonalization dari burnout.

This research aims to reduce foster parent burnout in Panti Sosial Marsudi Putra (PSMP) "X" Jakarta which is rehabilitating children with special needs ?juvenile delinquency? by improving social support at work through empathic listening skill training and constructive feedback skill training. The research design using the analysis result one group pre test - post test. The data analysis result shows that intervention by empathic listening skill and constructive feedback skill training has not succeeded in improving social support at workplace and have not managed to reduce a whole dimension of burnout. However, empathic listening skill training has been successful in reducing the dimension of depersonalization of burnout."
