Abstrak :
Occurrence of human being process had passed some phases for along time. Human being had gotten education when they were in pregnancy, but before it for several times. Allah Almighty had bestowed "fitrah" to human being on the earth since his birth. The essential of "fitrah" is agreement of primordial, that is embrace of Allah's religion. Hence, human being needed the education since early age, so that he/she has been able to live according to religion norms. Education had given change at human being dynamic to reach the target of its life in the earth and hereafter. Education of religion had done with psychological approach to childhood age. Psychological approach can help teacher in delivering of religion matters with correct strategy and method effectively and efficiently.

Abstrak :
Undang-Undang Nomor 4/1950 Jo. UU No. 14/1954 menyatakan bahwa tujuan pendidikan adalah untuk menciptakan manusia yang ber moral. Hal ini ditafsirkan bahwa manusia yang bermoral dapat diupayakan tidak hanya melalui agama karena dasar moral tidak selalu agama. Oleh Karena itu, pada 1950-an agama tidak wajib di ajarkan di sekolah. Pada tahap selanjutnya, sebagaimana diatur dalam UU No. 2/1989 pendidikan adalah tujuan menciptakan manusia yang taat mengabdikan diri kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, sehingga pelajran agama wajib diberikan di sekolah. Walaupun kesenjangan undang-undang tersebut adalah sekolah dengan agama tertentu seharusnya tidak diajarkan Agama yang bebrbeda dengan Agama yang ada di sekolah tersebut. Ketentuan ini kemudian menjadi bermasalah. Pada 2003, UU No 20 tentang sistem pendidikan nasional diberlakukan menekankan adanya pendidikan agama. Undang-undang ini ini mengamanatkan bahwa agama adalah wajib di setiap intuisi pendidikan di mana materi yang akan diberikan kepada siswa yang akan diajarkan oleh guru yang bersangkutan. Sudah jelas bahwa pendidikan secara historis telah ditingkatkan dari waktu ke waktu.

ABSTRAK
Islam as a religion of rahmatan li alalamin, very much its contribution to the national development which is oriented to the whole human development. The presence of religion is always accompanied by two faces. On the one hand, inherently religion has an identity that is exclusive, particularistic, and primordial. At the same time, however, it is also rich in inclusive, Universalist and transcending identities. In its role as a directive system, religion is placed as the main reference in the process of change. Religion will serve as a supreme morality that provides the basis and strength of the societys spiritual elite as they dialectics with change. Likewise as a defensive system, religion becomes a kind of resistance force for society when it is in an increasingly complex circle of life issues amid the rapid flow of change. Islamic education as agents of social change that is in the atmosphere of modernization and globalization today is required to be able to play its role dynamically and proactively, both at the theoretical and practical intellectual level. Islamic education is not just a process of cultivating moral values to fortify itself from the negative excesses of globalization. But the most important thing is how the moral values that have been invested in Islamic education are able to act as a liberating force from the crush of poverty, ignorance and socio cultural and economic backwardness. This paper aims to explore the role of Islamic education in public social education which is the main foundation of a nations development.
