Abstrak :
This book addresses questions of ethics, socio-political policies and regulatory aspects of novel Nanomedicine-based products which are currently under development for the diagnosis and treatment of different types of diseases. It is divided in two parts. Part I is composed of the first 3 chapters, which focus on the ?fundamentals? of legal aspects, emerging threats, advantages and disadvantages of patenting Nanomedicines, whereas part II collects 12 chapters discussing different types of Nanomedicine-based products, their potential marketing aspects and patent protection. Whenever applied, each chapter offers a list of patents, based on a specific application in drug delivery and targeting.

ABSTRAK
Percobaan kali ini menggunakan sayap model delta dengan swept angle sebesar 65o untuk mengukur performa dari sayap. Dua hal yang menjadi focus pada penelitian ini adalah pengukuran lift dan drag dari sayap delta dengan dan tanpa menggunakan kontrol aliran akutator plasma. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan wind tunnel dengan kecepatan free stream sebesar 5,74 m/s dengan bilangan Reynolds sebesar 83000. Aktuator plasma yang digunakan menggunakan konfigurasi multi-DBD. Didapatkan pengaruh dari aktuator plasma terhadap performa dari sayap delta yang dapat meningkatkan nilai koefisien lift dan mengurangi nilai koefisien
ABSTRACT
In this study, an experiment was carried out to measure the performance of a delta wing with 65o swept angle. There are two things that will be focused, the measurement of lift and drag on the delta wing with and without plasma actuator. The experiment is utilizing a wind tunnel with a free stream velocity of 5.74 m/s and at Reynolds number amounting to 83000. Multi-DBD plasma actuator was implemented on top of the wing. The performance of the wing was positively affected by the use of plasma actuator, proven by the increasing lift coefficient and the decreasing of drag coefficient.

Pengurangan hambatan kapal sangat penting untuk mengurangi konsumsi bahan bakar. Hambatan-hambatan tersebut adalah hambatan gesek dan hambatan sisa, tetapi yang dominan dalam hambatan kapal merupakan hambatan gesek. Pengurangan hambatan kapal dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan permukaan riblet. Struktur riblet yang paling umum ditemukan di alam adalah struktur riblet yang terputus-putus atau yang tersegmentasi (segmented riblet). Struktur riblet dengan perbedaan perbandingan tinggi dan jarak antar dinding (h/s ratio) menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian, struktur riblet mampu mengurangi hambatan total kapal hingga 14%.
Drag reduction is the most crucial step in order to reduce the use of gas for ships. The ship?s resistances consist of frictional resistance and residual resistance, but in the first one is more dominant in most drag cases. This has caused many researchers to find a way to reduce frictional resistance and one of many ways to do so is by applying a grooved structured surface, mostly known as riblets. Riblets can reduce the shear stress that any object makes when moving in fluid. There are many types of riblets in nature but mostly these types are segmented grooved structures rather than continuous ones. Given that riblet surfaces consist of aligned structures like walls, thus the main focus of this research is to analyze the difference in drag reduction by a riblet surface on ship hull when the ratio of riblet`s walls height and their distance with each other is varied. The result shows that a riblet surfaced ship?s hull can reduce drag up to 14 percent.

Dalam industri perminyakan seringkali terjadi masalah pada sistem perpipaan. Masalah yang paling sering muncul adalah pemakaian daya pompa yang sangat besar karena adanya penurunan tekanan friksional dalam aliran turbulen. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menambahkan Drag Reduction Agent (DRA) ke dalam aliran itu sendiri. Biopilomer merupakan salah satu jenis DRA yang paling sering digunakan karena murah dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh aditif carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) ke dalam aliran crude oil di pipa spiral dengan variasi pada rasio diameter pada sistem perpipaan tertutup. Pengujian dilakukan terlebih dahulu pada pipa circular acrylic diameter 17 mm sebagai perbandingan untuk pipa spiral. Pengujian dengan penambahan 250 ppm, 500 ppm dan 750 ppm CMC pada aliran crude oil dalam pipa acrylic menghasilkan DR maksimal sebesar 34,8 % dengan rata-rata DR sebesar 18,2 %. Sedangkan hasil pengujian pada pipa spiral rasio P/Di 3,5 menghasilkan DR maksimal sebesar 20% dengan rata-rata DR sebesar 11%. Kemudian pengujian pada pipa spiral rasio P/Di 5,4 menghasilkan DR maksimal sebesar 25,5 % dengan rata-rata DR sebesar 13,5 %. Dan pengujian pada pipa spiral rasio P/Di 7,6 menghasilkan DR maksimal sebesar 32 % dengan rata-rata DR sebesar 17 %. ......In the petroleum industry often problems occur on the piping system. The most frequent problem is about the power consumtion of the pump is very large due to the frictional pressure drop in the flow turbulent. One of the solution is to add Drag Reduction Agent (DRA) into the flow. Biopolimer is one of the most frequent types of DRA is used because it is cheap and enviromentally friendly. This research aims to investigate the influence of additive carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) into the flow of crude oil in the spiral pipes diameter ratio variation in closed piping system. Testing do first on pipe a circular acrylic diameter 17 mm as compared to pipe spiral. The testing of addition 250 ppm, 500 ppm and 750 ppm cmc to streamline crude oil in acrylic pipe produce DR maximum of 34,8 % with average DR 18,2 %. While based on test pipe spiral ratio P/Di 3,5 produce DR maximum of 20 % average dr from 11 %.Then testing on pipe spiral ratio P/Di 5.4 produce DR maximum of 25.5 % with average dr 13.5 %.And testing on pipe spiral ratio P/Di 7.6 produce DR maximum of 32 % to an average dr by 17 %.This testing Result of testing the addition of 250 ppm, 500 ppm and 750 ppm CMC in to the flow of crude oil in acrylic pipe produces maximal DR about 34,8 % and produce average DR about 18,2 %.

ABSTRAK

Konsumsi energi menjadi perbincangan penting pada dekade terakhir. Salah satu bentuk konsumsi energi adalah transportasi fluida dimana mempertimbangkan aspek pressure drop. Banyak peneliti berusaha untuk mengurangi pressure droo. Salah satu metodenya adalah penambahan polimer pada aliran. Biopolimer kulit tomat terduri dari wax dan cutin yang dapat digunakan sebagai edible coating. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyelidiki pengurangan pressure drop dengan penambahan biopolimer (ekstraksi kulit tomat). Pipa bulat dengan diameter 3mm digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan variasi konsentrasi: 200, 300 dan 500 ppm. Karakteristik aliran dianalisa berdasarkan Power Law dimana karakteristik larutan non Newtonian. Hasil yang didapatkan hubungan antara nilai Reynolds dan koefisien friksi. Penurunan hambatan (Drag Reduction) yang menggunakan konsentrasi 500 ppm didapatkan sekitar 35% pada nilai Reynolds 2x104.


ABSTRACT

Energy consumption is become the important issues on the last decade. The one of energy consumption is fluids transport which is considerate a pressure drop’s aspect. Many researchers attempt to reduce the pressure drop. One of methods is addition polymer in flowing. Tomato’s biopolymer skin contains wax and cutin which use as edible coating. The purpose of this research is investigating the reduce pressure drop with addition biopolymer (tomato’s skin extraction). Circular pipe with diameter, d = 3mm is used in this study which used various weight concentrations: 200, 300 and 500 ppm. Flow characteristic was analyzed based on power law model which is characteristic of non-Newtonian fluid. The results are shown the relationship between Reynolds number and friction coefficient. The drag reduction which used a weight concentration about 500 ppm was achieved about 30% at Reynolds number 2x104.

Pada dewasa ini kapal mempunyai peranan penting dalam perindustrian perkapalan. Perekonomian di dunia menggunakan transportasi kapal sebagai keberlangsungan ekonomi. Kapal multihull mempunyai keunggulan saat kecepatan tinggi. Multihull terdapat 4 major konfigurasi diantaranya Catamaran, Trimaran, quadramaran, dan Pentamaran. Penelitian dari Hambatan Pentamaran sudah diuji dalam eksperimen ini. Dalam kasus ini kapal Pentamaran mepunyai konfigurasi yang bisa mendukung semakin optimalnya nilai hambatan, stabilitas kapal, luasan dek kapal, dan kekuatan konstruksi. Hambatan merupakan simbol dari efisiensi kapal itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan konfigurasi pentamaran dengan nilai hambatan terendah pada kecepatan tinggi dengan rentang Fr 0.39-0.6. Eksperimen dilakukan pada kolam uji dengan permukaan air tenang.
On this ship has an important role in the shipping industry. Economy in the world using the transport ship as the sustainability of the economy. Multihull ships have advantages when at high speed. There are 4 major Multihull configuration such as Catamaran, Trimaran, Quadraman, and Pentamaran. The Research of Drag Reduction Pentamaran already tested. In this case Pentamaran have a configuration that can support optimalization in drag reduction, stability, ship deck area, the power construction. The obstacle is the symbol of the efficienct of the ship itself. The purpose of the research is to get the configuration of the lowest resistance value at high speeds with range Fr 0.39 0.6. The research has done on water tank with waterl level calm.

Drag Queen merupakan seorang laki-laki gay yang menunjukkan sisi feminin dengan tujuan eksplisit untuk menghibur dan tampil di depan audiens. Kini, drag queen tidak hanya tampil di klub, bar, atau teater, melainkan tampil dalam sebuah tayangan televisi berjudul RuPaul s Drag Race dan RuPaul s Drag U. Menggunakan metode studi literatur, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana representasi sisi feminin dari drag queen yang tampil di televisi. Representasi tersebut dapat dilihat dari sisi kostum, tampilan fisik, bahasa yang digunakan, seks, dan gender. Tulisan ini juga menjelaskan bagaimana identitas gender mereka antara yang ditampilkan pada sebuah tayangan dan kehidupan personalnya, serta persepsi dari masyarakat mengenai drag queen itu sendiri.
ABSTRACT
Drag Queen is a gay man who shows a feminine side with an explicit aim to entertain and appear in front of an audience. Now, drag queen does not only appear in clubs, bars or theaters but appears on a television show titled RuPaul s Drag Race and RuPaul s Drag U. Using the literature study method, this paper aims to see how the feminine side of drag queen appears on television. This representation can be seen in terms of costume, physical appearance, language used, sex, and gender. This paper also explains how their gender identity is displayed on a show and personal life, as well as perceptions from the public regarding drag queen itself.
