"Penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial bank umum di negara negara ASEAN 5 yaitu Indonesia Filipina Malaysia Singapura dan Thailand pada tahun 2014. Tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial ini diketahui melalui analisis deskriptif dari hasil content analysis dengan menggunakan indikator GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines dan GRI G4 Sector Disclosures Financial Services. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat pengungkapan perbankan di Thailand adalah yang tertinggi disusul oleh Indonesia Malaysia Filipina dan tingkat pengungkapan terendah oleh perbankan di Singapura Selain itu perbankan yang menerbitkan Laporan CSR Tersendiri diketahui menunjukkan tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perbankan yang hanya mengandalkan pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial melalui Laporan Tahunan.

The objective of this research is to analyse the level of corporate social responsibility in commercial banks in ASEAN 5 namely Indonesia The Phillipines Malaysia Singapore and Thailand in 2014. The level of corporate social responsibility disclosure is known through descriptive analysis of the result of content analysis process which use indicators from GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and GRI G4 Sector Disclosures Financial Services This research finds out that overall the level of disclosures in commercial banks in Thailand is the highest followed by Indonesia Malaysia while the lowest level of disclosures is conventional banks in Singapore. Also banks which published Standalone CSR Report show higher level of corporate social responsibility disclosures compared to banks which rely on their Annual Report as a medium to publish information of corporate social responsibility."
