"Rapid urbanisation, inequalities in income and service levels within and between communities, and population and economic decline are challenging the viability of rural communities worldwide. Achieving healthy and viable rural communities in the face of rapidly changing social, ecological and economic conditions is a declared global priority. As a result, governments all over the world, in both developed and developing countries, are now prioritizing rural and regional development through policies and programs aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of people living in rural regions. In recognition of the important roles that research can play in rural development, a range of systematic literature reviews have rightly examined key priorities in rural development including education, gender, economic development (especially agriculture), and health and nutrition (see Department for International Development [DFID], 2011). However, none of these works has systematically examined the extent to which rural development as a field of research is progressing towards facilitating sustainable change. This book evaluates trends in rural development research across the five continental regions of the world. Specifically, it assesses the total publication output relating to rural development, the types of publications, their quality and impact over the last three decades. Additionally, it evaluates the continental origins of the publications as well as the extent to which such publications engage with issues of sustainability. The aim is to determine whether the rural development field is growing in a manner that reflects research and policy priorities and broader social trends such as sustainability. Development policy makers, practitioners, those teaching research methods and systematic literature reviews to undergraduate and graduate students, and researchers in general will find the book both topical and highly relevant."

"Penelitian tesis ini menggunakan latar belakang permasalahan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur. Banyaknya perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang yang sama pada saat ini, mengharuskan perusahaan menghasilkan produk yang terbaik sampai ke tangan konsumen. Untuk itu kualitas yang terbaik haruslah diutamakan. Dengan kata lain peningkatan kualitas produk harus menjadi prioritas utama. Untuk mendapatkan kualitas yang baik tanpa adanya kegagalan, dibutuhkan teori yang akan menjadi acuan untuk itu. Setting optimal dibutuhkan pada eksperimen untuk pengujian agar menghemat waktu dan biaya.
Metoda Taguchi menggunakan orthogonal array yang efektif dalam melakukan eksperimen. Dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah Metoda Taguchi, aplikasi dapat langsung dilakukan. Penentuan faktor terkontrol, faktor tidak terkontrol dan level faktor yang digunakan, serta jenis orthogonal array yang akan dipakai dalam eksperimen. Data yang dikumpulkan dari lapangan, diolah dengan Metoda Taguchi. Penggunaan analisa variansi dan signal to noise ratio, sehingga setting optimal Metoda Taguhi dapat ditemukan.
Dari perbandingan yang didapat antara data aktual yang telah dilakukan perusahaan dengan data yang diambil menggunakan hasil setting yang didapat dengan Metoda Taguchi dilakukan analisa sehingga dapat diketahui penyebab kegagalan produk selama ini. Dalam kesimpulan akhir tesis ini proses pembuatan produk dengan kualitas yang terbaik dapat dilakukan. Sehingga kompetisi antara perusahaan dengan produk yang sama menjadi sebuah persaingan yang sehat.

This thesis research using manufacture companies issues background which progress recently. Many companies operate in the same field, required the companies to produce their best to deliver to customers. Hence the best quality must be prioritized. In other word the quality improvement of the products should be main priority. To reach the good quality and zero defects, it is required theories to become the reference. Optimal setting uses in experiment to asses and efficient in time and cost.
Taguchi method used orthogonal array, which be effective in performing the experiment. By following the steps of the Taguchi Method, application could be conducted directly. The determination controlled factor, uncontrolled factor and level factor applied, and also the type of orthogonal array that will be use in the experiment. The collected data from field processed by Taguchi Method. The uses of variance analysis and signal to noise ratio, so that the optimal setting of Taguchi Method could be found.
From the obtained comparison between actual data that has performed by a company with the collected data using the obtained setting result by Taguchi Method, analysis is conducted so that it can be known the cause of the product failure during the time. From the final conclusion of this thesis, the produce of the product with the best quality could be performed. The competition between the company and the same product become a sound competition.

"Laporan ini membahas mengenai proses pengukuran kualitas desain terhadap perangka lunak yang berorientasi objek. Laporan ini mengusulkan suatu teknik alternatif dalam menginterpretasikan hasil pengukuran kualitas desain perangkat lunak. Metric yang digunakan adalah Metric for Object Oriented Design (MOOD) untuk mengukur kualitas desain perangkat lunak dan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menginterpretasi hasil pengukuran kualitas dengan MOOD.
Pada laporan ini dibahas mengenai penelitian sebelumnya mengenai MOOD dan AHP; proses pengukuran kualitas desain perangkat lunak; peringkat perangkat lunak berdasarkan kualitas desainnya yang diproses dengan MOOD dan AHP; dan proses konstruksi perangkat lunak analisis kualitas desain. Laporan ini juga menyertakan bahasan terhadap proses pengukuran kualitas desain dan penentuan peringkat terhadap beberapa perangkat lunak Java beserta dengan hasilnya. Dan terakhir, terdapat pembahasan mengenai hal-hal yang ditemukan pada saat konstruksi perangkat lunak analisis kualitas desain dan laporan ini diakhiri dengan beberapa usulan mengenai pengembangan tool analisis kualitas desain.

This report discusses about the process of design quality measurement on object oriented software. An alternative technique on interpreting software design quality measurement result is proposed on the report. The metrics being used in the report is Metric for Object Oriented Design (MOOD) to measure software design quality, and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is being used for interpreting quality result measured using MOOD.
This report discusses previous research conducted on MOOD and AHP; software quality measurement process; software ranking based on it?s design quality using MOOD and AHP; and the construction of design quality analysis software. The report also includes the design quality measurement and ranking for several Java software and their results. Finally, there is a description about lesson learned from quality design analysis tool construction process and this report is concluded with several ideas about the development of the tool."

"Dewasa ini, User Generated Content (UGC) merupakan salah satu media utama bagi konsumen untuk membangun keterikatan dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan mengaitkan nilai fungsional dan nilai emosional yang dirasakan pengguna UGC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti content quality, design quality, dan technology quality UGC yang dapat mempengaruhi keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement), melalui nilai fungsional dan emosional sebagai mediator pada hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan model yang terdapat pada teori Stimulus-Organisme-Respons (S-O-R). Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan generasi Z dan milenial berusia 18-41 tahun, memiliki akun media sosial Youtube, Instagram, dan/atau Tiktok, serta pernah melihat UGC selama satu bulan terakhir. Kuesioner disebarkan secara online. Data sebanyak 286 responden yang terdapat pada penelitian utama diolah dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, nilai fungsional dan emosional memiliki peran sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara kualitas UGC dan keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement). Secara lebih lanjut, ditemukan bahwa content quality mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai fungsional dan nilai emosional sebagai mediator. Kemudian, technology quality dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai emosional dan design quality dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan konsumen dengan merek (customer brand engagement) dengan bantuan nilai emosional.

Nowadays, User Generated Content (UGC) is one of the main media for consumers to build brand engagement by linking the functional value and emotional value felt by UGC users. The purpose of this study is to examine the content quality, design quality, and technology quality of UGC that can affect consumer brand engagement, through functional and emotional values as mediators in the relationship. This study uses the model contained in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory. Respondents in this study were Generation Z and millennials aged 18-41 years, had social media accounts on Youtube, Instagram, and/or Tiktok, and had seen UGC for the past month. Questionnaires were distributed online. The data of 286 respondents in the main study was processed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that in general, functional and emotional values have a role as a mediator in the relationship between UGC quality and consumer brand engagement. Furthermore, it was found that content quality was able to have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of functional values and emotional values as mediators. Then, technology quality can have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of emotional values and design quality can have a positive influence on consumer brand engagement with the help of emotional values."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengukuran kualitas desain perangkat lunak berorientasi objek dengan kumpulan metrik yang dikenal sebagai Metrics for Object Oriented Design versi 2 (MOOD2) yang kemudian dikombinasikan dengan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk melakukan interpretasi terhadap hasil pengukuran kualitas. Penelitian ini membahas hasil penelitian terdahulu berupa alat bantu yang pernah dikembangkan kemudian melakukan pengembangan lanjutan untuk meningkatkan usability dan maintainability. Sebagai tambahan dalam eskperimen, beberapa library bahasa pemrograman Java disertakan. Hasil ditampilkan dalam bentuk alat bantu yang sudah diperbaiki untuk mengukur metrik MOOD2 dengan metode AHP.

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the quality measurement of an object oriented software design with a set of metric known as Metrics for Object Oriented Design version 2 (MOOD2), combined with the Analytic Hirearchy Process (AHP) for interpreting the results. This research reviews several developed tools in previous researches and furthermore improves the usability and maintainability of it. For the experiment, an addition of several Java library were explored. The result is shown in the form of updated software tools for measuring MOOD2 using AHP method."
