Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan konsep revolusi mental bagi Ir. Joko Widodo yang dikomunikasikan melalui pidato-pidato kenegaraannya dalam kurun waktu 20 Oktober 2014 mdash;20 Oktober 2015. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menganalisis tuturan dalam bentuk proposisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori proposisi Van Dijk untuk menentukan proposisi makro. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori tindak tutur Searle untuk menemukan daya ilokusioner yang dibangun oleh setiap proposisi makro tersebut. Hasil penelitian menemukan sembilan gagasan revolusi mental, dan empat tindak tutur, yaitu tindak tutur asertif, direktif, deklaratif, dan ekspresif. Gagasan revolusi mental yang ditawarkan Ir. Joko Widodo berkaitan dengan ajakan persatuan. Sedangkan daya ilokusi tindak tutur menunjukkan bahwa Ir. Joko Widodo berupaya untuk meyakinkan masyarakat Indonesia pentingnya perubahan mental.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to reveal the ideas of mental revolution that are conveyed by Joko Widodo, The President of Republic of Indonesia, through his state speech during the period of 20 October 2014 mdash 20 October 2015. This is the qualitative research by using discourse analysis approach. The concepts of mental revolution are required by analysing macropropositions contained in Joko Widodo rsquo s speech. To find the macropropositions, this research uses the propositions theory proposed by Van Dijk. Beside that, this research also uses speech act theory proposed by Searle to find the illocutionary force of each macroproposition. As the result of this research, there are nine concept of mental revolution and four types of speech act that become the pragmatic strategy used by Joko Widodo in his mental revolution concepts delivery. The concept of mental refers to the invitation to be unity in being Nation Building. The illocutionary speech acts shows that Joko Widodo attempts to convince Indonesian society the importance of mental change.
