Abstrak :
Photoacoustic measurement in an imaging system is a unique method as it uses optical disturbance but observes its effect acoustically. Acoustical observation increases the quality of a measurement by reducing the scattering effect that often occurs in optical research. However, a few problems, such as cost and complexity, hinder development of a photoacoustic system. This report presents a design of a photoacoustic system using a laser diode and a commercial microphone as the acoustic emission source and sensor, respectively. Analysis of the photoacoustic signal received by the microphone was performed with software-based Fourier transformation, which makes the photoacoustic system simpler and lower in cost. By measuring the amplitude of the signal, the system accurately detects surface micrometer cracks. The report shows that the system is capable of producing a photoacoustic image of an object with micro-cracks on its surface. The results indicate that the photoacoustic imaging system developed in the experiment is a more promising way to generate images of cracks than optical imaging

Abstrak :
Spun pile adalah jenis tiang pancang yang paling sering digunakan sebagai pondasi bangunan di Indonesia. Displacement pada spun pile merupakan perubahan posisi lateral pada spun pile yang diakibatkan oleh gaya timbul akibat beban dari tanah. Displacement ini dapat terjadi akibat adanya kesalahan parameter tanah yang dipakai saat mendesain material pemasangan spun pile sebagai struktur bawah bangunan atau adanya beban lateral dari tanah yang mempengaruhi pergerakan spun pile. Salah satu cara untuk melakukan perhitungan dan analisis perpindahan yang terjadi pada spun pile akibat adanya pembebanan adalah menggunakan metode Digital Image Correlation yang fokus kepada analisis pengolahan dengan software GOM Correlate. Perilaku lentur yang diamati adalah kapasitas momen, regangan, perpindahan, dan mode keruntuhan. Studi eksperimen ini merupakan bagian akhir dari rangkaian uji penggunaan DIC pada pengamatan perpindahan spun pile. Dibandingkan dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya tentang pengujian spun pile dengan beton pengisi yang berbeda-beda, pengujian ini lebih fokus kepada pengamatan perilaku spun pile yang diberi perkuatan baja zincalume.
......Spun pile is type of pile that often used as building foundation in Indonesia. Displacement on spun pile is the change of lateral position on spun pile that caused by the force as a result of load from the soil. This displacement can be happened because there is a soil parameter error that used when designing installation material of spun pile as substructure or lateral load from soil that affect spun pile movement. One of the ways for doing a calculation and displacement analysis that happened on spun pile as a result of loading is by using Digital Image Correlation method that focus on processing analysis with GOM Correlate software. Observed bending behavior is moment capacity, strain, displacement, and collapse mode. This experiment study is the end part of the test series using DIC on spun pile displacement observation. Compared by the research before about spun pile test with different filler concrete, this tests more focus on the observation of spun pile behavior that given reinforcement zincalume steel.
