Abstrak :
Those who choose to be consulting psychologists aim to make a difference in organizations and in the lives of the individuals and groups within them. In this book, Rodney L. Lowman translates theory and research into an accessible overview that will familiarize readers from multiple disciplines with this important work. Lowman reviews how consultation helps clients at three levels: Individual, group, and organizational. Using case examples, he illustrates issues that can arise at each level and describes appropriate tools for assessment and intervention. Readers will learn how consultants screen potential job candidates; coach individuals to adapt to new roles and manage relationships with colleagues; evaluate and improve work group dynamics, such as communication patterns; and work with different organizational cultures to enhance system-wide processes and structures. Leadership is given special focus as a complex topic that spans all three levels of expertise. Multiculturalism and internationalism are also stressed as competencies that consulting psychologists must possess in our increasingly globalized society

ABSTRAK
Self-injurious behaviours, including nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) and suicidal behaviours, are remarkably prevalent and woefully understudied. This area of research involves numerous methodological, ethical, and practical challenges that have limited progress in understanding some of the most basic characteristics and correlates of self-injurious behaviour. To date, relatively little data are available to develop empirically based preventions or interventions, and no empirically supported treatments currently are available to reduce NSSI or suicidaliity in most populations. The articles in this special section offer examples of methodologically innovative, theoretically based worrrk that address these research needs. Articles in this special section include studies of functional models of NSSI, studies that examine more distal risk factors for NSSI, and studies of suicidality. A brief review of current research in these areas is offered.

Makalah ini merupakan tugas consulting nyata untuk membantu Hays, sebuah perusahaan Sumber Daya Manusia global. Penulis melakukan perjalanan ke Shanghai, Cina, untuk mengerjakan proyek ini selama kurang lebih 3 minggu. Disana, penulis bekerja dalam tim berjumlah 4 orang, melakukan riset untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan dari proyek adalah untuk mencapai pengikut di media social professional LinkedIn mencapai 100.000 pengikut dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Strategi yang diterapkan beragam, dan telah diterapkan selama kurun waktu satu tahun, dimana akhirnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi berhasil dalam kurun waktu setengah dari periode yang ditentukan. ...... This report was a real consulting case to help Hays, a Global Human Resource Recruitment company. The author went to Shanghai, China to do this project for approximately 3 weeks. There, in a group of four, the author and his team worked together doing researches to achieve the goal. The goal was to increase their followers on LinkedIn, a social media for professionals, to 100,000 in a one year period. The strategy to achieving the target varies and has been proven as team managed to reach the goal by half the required period.

Diversity Atlas, yang dikembangkan oleh Cultural Infusion pada tahun 2019, mengukur dan mengelola keragaman tenaga kerja menggunakan platform online. Analisis ini mengidentifikasi peluang untuk ekspansi dan perbaikan produk agar perusahaan tetap kompetitif. Rekomendasi mencakup peluncuran layanan konsultasi dan pelatihan keragaman dengan mitra yang sudah ada serta integrasi platform perekrutan untuk menawarkan solusi yang komprehensif. Strategi-strategi ini, didukung oleh analisis SWOT, STP, kompetitor, dan PESTLE, bertujuan untuk menjadikan Diversity Atlas sebagai platform keragaman end-to-end terkemuka. What knowledge, skills, and values do psychologists need to consult in the performing arts? As with sport psychology, clinicians in this subspecialty often use cognitive-behavioral techniques that enhance performance. However, performing arts consultation differs in several important ways. First, because peak performance cannot be measured by a "perfect score," performing arts consultants focus on the art form's esthetic and technical requirements. Common occupational pressures, resulting in physical and mental stress, also are addressed. Finally, effective interventions are tailored to art-specific issues for each performer. The present article's intent is to encourage participation in performing arts consultation by providing basic practice information.

Ketatnya persaingan bisnis menyebabkan setiap perusahaan termasuk jasa bimbingan belajar X harus memiliki keunggulan bersaing sehingga perusahaan akan dapat terus hidup dan berkembang. Keunggulan bersaing jasa bimbingan belajar dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas layanan jasanya. Survey yang dilakukan terhadap pelanggan jasa bimbingan belajar X menunjukkan adanya delapan atribut layanan jasa dengan 50 item yang dinyatakan pelanggan sangat kritis untuk kualitas layanan. Atribut layanan jasa bimbingan belajar X adalah kondisi fisik ruang belajar, suasana ruang belajar, ruang lain, sarana pendukung lain, pegawai, materi, pengajar, dan sistem pengajaran. Metoda perbaikan performa sederhana Six Sigma digunakan untuk memperbaiki kualitas layanan jasa dengan didasari oleh apakah terdapat pelanggan yang mengalami cacat layanan, yaitu pelanggan menilai layanan yang diberikan tidak memenuhi harapannya. Layanan jasa bimbingan belajar X ternyata memiliki nilai Sigma kecil untuk setiap atribut, artinya jumlah cacat layanan per sejuta kesempatan tinggi dan perbaikan atau peningkatkan kualitas layanan harus segera dilakukan agar pelanggan tidak berpaling ke perusahaan lain. Secara keseluruhan nilai Sigma layanan jasa bimbingan belajar X adalah 1,12422.

In high business competition, every company including education's consulting service X should have competitive advantages so that company can still exist and live grow. Competitive advantages of education consulting service can be improved by doing the service quality improvement. Customer's survey shows that there are eight service attributes with 50 items critical to quality. The service attributes are physical condition of study room, situation of study room, other room, other supporting facility, employee, contents, teacher and teaching system. Six Sigma performance improvement methods can be used to fix or to improve the service quality with surveying whether customer has defect service or not, which is customer's perception don't meet expectation. Unfortunately education consulting service X have a small Sigma value for every service attribute, which means improvement actions should be done right away. If not, customer will turn to other company that can provide them with good quality service. Sigma value of education consulting service is 1,12422.

FEUI Capital merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang konsultasi investasi privat. Layanan utama dari perusahaan adalah untuk menyediakan layanan konsultasi kepada klien mengenai proses penghimpunan dana untuk perusahaan atau yang sering disebut capital raising. Penulis ditempatkan pada divisi konsultan pembiayaan dengan jabatan sebagai Analyst Intern yang berperan untuk membantu analyst serta associate dalam melayani klien dalam proses capital raising, baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Tujuan dari laporan akhir magang ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana tahapan proses implementasi capital raising, kriteria investasi, serta bagaimana proses konsultasi strategi bisnis dengan klien dijalankan. Berdasarkan observasi, penulis membandingkan kriteria investasi yang digunakan oleh FEUI Capital dengan kriteria investasi yang diperhatikan oleh investor dengan melakukan peninjauan literatur penelitian terdahulu. Observasi membuktikan bahwa FEUI Capital secara garis besar telah berhasil memenuhi kriteria investasi dan ekspektasi investor. ......FEUI Capital is a company engaged in consultancy business for private investment. The main service of the company is to provide consulting services to clients regarding the process of raising funds for companies or what is often called capital raising. The author was placed in the consulting for capital raising division with the position of Analyst Intern whose role was to assist analysts and serve clients in the capital raising process, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The purpose of this final report is to understand the stages of the capital raising implementation process, investment criteria, and how the business strategy consulting process with clients is carried out. Based on observations, the author compared the investment criteria used by FEUI Capital with the investment criteria considered by investors, by conducting a review of previous research literature. Observations prove that FEUI Capital in general has succeeded in meeting investment criteria and investor expectations.

Increasing frustration with the politics and economics of traditional mental health care has led many psychologists to consider shifting to or adding executive coaching as a core competency in their practices. Experience with work-related issues in clinical practice makes this appear to be a logical extension of traditional clinical and counseling work.
