"Pembangunan jalan layang non tol Antasari-Blok m sangat mendesak, hal ini dikarenakan semakin padatnya volume kendaraan yang melintasi jalan tersebut, Proyek ini berkonsep pada pembuatan jalan layang tepat diatas jalan eksisting untuk bisa mengalihkan volume lalu-lintas yang ada di jalan eksisting dan mengurangi kemacetan. Karena kebutuhan yang sangat mendesak inilah, dalam ilmu manajemen konstruksi harus memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pemilihan metode konstruksi yang tepat untuk menyelesaikan pembangunan jalan layang non tol Antasari-Blok M tersebut.

Development of non-toll highways Antasari-Blok m very urgent, this is because the density of the volume of vehicles crossing the road, this project concept to creation overpass just above the existing road in order to divert traffic volumes that exist on the existing road and reducing congestion. Because this is a very urgent need, in the science of construction management must pay attention to the factors that influence the selection of appropriate construction methods to complete the construction of non-toll highways Antasari-Blok M.

"Penggunaan metode konstruksi yang tepat merupakan salah satu faktor penentu berhasil tidaknya suatu proyek.Kesalahan dalam pemilihan metode konstruksi yang dipakai akan berakibat buruk pada sasaran proyek yang menyangkut jadwal, biaya, mutu pekerjaan, dan dampak lingkungan. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya identifikasi faktor-faktor yang melandasi terpilihnya metode Balanced Cantilever pada pembangunan jalan layang non tol Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang ini.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor dominan yang berpengaruh yaitu adanya utilitas penting di sekitar lokasi pembangunan sehingga hanya metode Balanced Cantilever yang tepat untuk diteapkan. Faktor lainnya yaitu pertimbangan kemacetan lalu lintas,waktu pengerjaan,dan biaya konstruksi.

The use of appropriate construction methods is one of major factor that determind project's success.Wrong construction method selection will have bad effect to project's target such as schedule, cost, quality, and environmental effect. Therefore, factors that affecting the determination of Balanced Cantilever Method at Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang non toll highways need to be identified.
The result shows the dominant factor that affecting method's choice in this project is there are main/important utilities around the construction site. So, only Balanced Cantilever method is suitable for this project. The other factors include traffic consideration, construction time, and construction cost.

"Jembatan adalah suatu konstruksi yang berguna untuk meneruskan jalan melalui suatu rintangan yang berada lebih rendah dan merupakan bagian suatu jaring-jaring jalan. Pada perencanaan awal Jembatan Teknik Sastra (Jembatan TEKSAS) menggunakan Konstruksi Beton sedangkan pelaksanaannya menggunakan Konstruksi Baja. Dari permasalahan tersebut penulis ingin membandingkan metode pelaksanaan pada Jembatan Konstruksi Beton dan Jembatan Konstruksi Baja yang diterapkan pada lokasi yang sama dengan contoh kasus Jembatan Teknik Sastra (Jembatan TEKSAS) Universitas Indonesia.
Dari penulisan ini diharapkan bisa mendapatkan gambaran perbandingan waktu pelaksanaan, tingkat kesulitan, termasuk efek yang mungkin timbul serta keunggulan dan kekurang setiap metode yang digunakan. Penelitian ini dibatasi metode pelaksanaan konstruksi Jembatan Baja Teknik Sastra (TEKSAS) yang berlokasi di Universitas Indonesia, yang meliputi tahap awal pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan struktur jembatan, serta rencana mutu dan K-3.

A bridge is a construction that is used to connecting parts of roads through barriers usually lower elevations. Bridge also part of road system network. In this case, a bridge connecting Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Letter in University of Indonesia (TEKSAS Bridge) is examined for its change from concrete structure in planning to steel construction in later stage. According to this case, the methods of constructions for these two different types construction will be compared thoroughly using TEKSAS Bridge as example of study.
This study is expected to produce representative time schedules, effects, and also the strength and weakness of every method that is used. This study is focused on construction methods of TEKSAS Bridge that is located in University of Indonesia, include Initial applied phase, Structural Bridge phase, and also Quality assessment and Safety (K3).

"[Tulisan ini membahas perilaku struktur jembatan cable stayed dengan studi kasus A Ruck Chucky Hanging Arc Bridge. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu mengevaluasi dan membandingkan perilaku struktur pada saat konstruksi (analisa sequential) dengan analisa struktur jembatan utuh (analisa langsung). Adapun hasil yang diperoleh yaitu gaya dalam kabel pada saat konstruksi, gaya dalam gelagar, tegangan pada masing-masing elemen dan lendutan yang terjadi pada gelagar jembatan. Metode analisa yang digunakan pada saat konstruksi yaitu forward assemblage analysis. Pada saat konstruksi nilai gaya dalam dan lendutan pada gelagar akan berubah menurut tahapannya. Respon struktur juga akan berbeda pada saat konstruksi dengan analisa langsung sehingga masing-masing analisa perlu diperhatikan.

As for the result to be obtained by force in the cable at the time of construction, the style of the girder, stresses and deflections which occur on the bridge girder. The analytical methods used at the time of construction is forward assemblage analysis. At the time of construction, value of the force and deflection in the girder will chance according stages constructions.
