"Teknik sipil dengan konstentrasi di bidang struktur secara khusus mempelajari tentang konstruksi bangunan dari mulai pengenalan, perencanaan, perizinan, pelaksanaan, pemeliharaan, serta hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan struktur suatu bangunan, jalan, maupun elemen struktur lainnya. Analisis struktur sangat penting untuk memastikan bagaimana alur, distribusi dan dampak beban terhadap struktur yang ditinjau. Selain beban yang mempengaruhi perilaku struktur adalah bahan yang digunakan dan geometri (sistem) struktur. Dengan melakukan analisis struktur maka dapat diketahui bagaimana perilaku struktur dan tingkat keamanannya saat dikenai beban yang diperkirakan akan bekerja. Analisis Struktur dapat dilakukan selama tahapan desain, pada saat pengujian maupun pasca konstruksi. Implementasi praktik keinsinyuran yang akan dipaparkan dalam penulisan laporan ini adalah bagaimana pekerjaan struktur yang terdapat di instalasi main ring fire hydrant di proyek ABC-Heinz Indonesia, Karawang Timur, Jawa Barat seperti pipe sleeper dan perkerasan jalan beton.

By conducting structural analysis, it can be seen how the structure behaves and the level of security when it is subjected to a load that is expected to work. Structural analysis can be carried out during the design stage, during testing and post construction.
