"Antenna footprint indicates the shape and size of the area illuminated by the antenna on the ground surface or subsurface. For GPR it is important as it determines the cross-range resolution of the radar. In this paper we demontrate that an array antenna comprising a number of rolled-dipole elements can produce a variable footprint by activating certain elements and deactivating the others. In this way the size of the array's footprint can be adjusted to remain comparable with the cross section of various targets which in turn minimizes clutter and improving the GPR performance . This paper presents FDTD simulation results and preliminary experimental result of the proposed antenna."

This text discusses clutter as traces of activities that show the identity of space users. Objects exist in space beyond its function, but are also able to reflect the identity of the user of the space. Understanding the accumulation of objects shows that the dynamics of identity are present in the daily activities of space users. This thesis discusses how the identity of space users can be explored through clutter as an accumulation of scattered objects that reflect traces of activity patterns, habits and user identities. Architecture demands a quick design process with limited interactions with potential users of the space. The accumulation of objects defined as clutter is often considered untidy or ugly and is therefore hidden, even though its existence holds a lot of information about the activities and identity of the occupants of the space. Observing clutter as traces of activity allows us to understand private behavior or activities that are difficult to observe, without needing to be present when the activity takes place. Thus, the discussion of clutter becomes relevant because clutter represents material traces that reflect the identity of residents' daily lives. This study identifies how clutter reflects various layers of identity, such as needs, abilities, self-expression, to habits, traditions and life priorities. Clutter occurs along with transitions between activities, showing how the identity layer responds to these activities."
