ABSTRAK
Anak yang menderita kanker sering mengalami permasalahan nutrisi dan mukositis akibat kanker atau pengobatannya yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Tujuan dari studi kasus ini adalah menganalisis optimalisasi pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi anak kanker dengan mukositis melalui intervensi mengunyah permen karet dengan pendekatan Model Konservasi Levine. Lima kasus terpilih menunjukkan terjadi masalah keperawatan ketidakseimbangan nutrisi kurang dari kebutuhan tubuh dan kerusakan membran mukosa oral. Penerapan Evidence Based Nursing Practice dilakukan terhadap 40 orang anak yang menjalani kemoterapi, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Intervensi mengunyah permen karet diberikan 3 kali sehari selama 6 hari. Derajat mukositis diukur menggunakan alat ukur WHO. Hasil asuhan keperawatan dengan pendekatan Model Konservasi Levine menunjukkan anak mengalami perbaikan masalah nutrisi dilihat dari peningkatan nafsu makan dan berat badan serta penurunan derajat mukositis. Hasil penerapan Evidence Based Nursing Practice menunjukkan mengunyah permen karet efektif dalam mencegah dan menurunkan derajat mukositis. Perawat dapat menggunakan Model Konservasi Levine pada anak kanker yang mengalami masalah nutrisi dan melakukan intervensi mengunyah permen karet untuk mengurangi mukositis oral agar tercapai nutrisi yang optimal pada anak.

ABSTRACT
Children suffering from cancer often experience nutritional problems and mucositis due to cancer or its treatment that can affect the quality of life. This study aims to analyze the optimization of the nutritional needs of cancer children with mucositis through chewing gum interventions using the Levine s Conservation Model. Five selected cases indicated a nursing problem of nutritional imbalance less than body requirements and damage of oral mucous membranes. The application of Evidence Based Nursing Practice was conducted on 40 children who undergoing chemotherapy, which was divided into two groups. Chewing gum interventions are given 3 times a day for 6 days. The degree of mucositis was measured using a WHO measuring instrument. The results of nursing care with the Levine s Conservation Model showed that children had improved nutritional problems seen from increased appetite and body weight and decreased degree of oral mucositis. The results of the Evidence Based Nursing Practice demonstrate chewing gum effectively preventing and lowering the degree of mucositis. Nurses may use the Levine s Conservation Model in children with cancer who have nutritional problems and intervene chewing gum to reduce oral mucositis to achieve optimal nutrition in children

Abstrak :
Children are unique and also potential market because they usually do not spend their own money but they have a huge purchasing power through their parents. They are potential market, because from the number of kids in the market and their spending are big and promising. There are three types of kids market: first, children as the primary markets; second, children as the influencer market which emphasizing on the influence of children assert on family purchases. Third, because the children will grow up, then we can consider children as the future market. Based on the above descriptions, the authors intent to identify the determinants of children intention to consume such as product characteristics, reference group, retail environment and promotion, and create a questionnaire for the children and develop hypothesis using these study findings. The data obtained from the field using survey method was used to test all the hypotheses empirically. Based on the research findings, we came to conclusion that the promotion has a greater and important effect in developing intention of children?s consumption. These initial findings will be used intentionally in another study which is try to find out the relationship between children intention to consume and their commitment to future market as they grown up and second objective of this study is to develop an initial and appropriate questionnaire for the children which we realize is different from questionnaire for the adult people.

Skripsi ini membahas mengenai motivasi anak jalanan korban eksploitasi ekonomi tetap bertahan dijalanan kepada empat anak jalanan kategori Children on The Street binaan Yayasan Sahabat Anak Kota Tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitianya mengatakan bahwa orang tua, lingkungan sekitar, minimnya gambaran orientasi masa depan, yang dibalut dengan motivasi membuat mereka dapat mempertahankan kehidupannya dijalan. Sehingga peran lembaga diperlukan untuk memberikan upaya perlindungan anak terhadap mereka. ......This research discusses about motivation of street child who are at economic exploitation, can still alive on the street. The research method which is used is qualitative research with study cases to four children on the street in Yayasan Sahabat Anak Kota Tua. The Result that parents, environment, and less expectation of their future orientation, motivate them to still on the street. Until the human organisation needed for giving an effort to children protection.
