"Industri jasa penerbangan di Indonesia telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat dari tahun ke tahun yang disebabkan oleh lahirnya konsep baru di dunia penerbangan yaitu 'Low Cost Carrier'. Dengan adanya konsep low cost carrier dan tingginya arus globalisasi, menyebabkan orang lebih memilih menggunakan jasa penerbangan untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya tersebut. Ditambah lagi ketika melakukan proses check-in, dimana jumlah check-in counter yang ada tidak sebanding dengan peningkatan jumlah penumpang. Dengan melakukan peramalan jumlah penumpang pesawat 10 tahun ke depan pada waktu puncak menggunakan metode Support Vector Regression dapat ditentukan alokasi jumlah check-in counter terminal bandara untuk 10 tahun ke depan, serta luas yang dibutuhkan untuk penambahan check-in counter. Pada akhirnya dibutuhkan penambahan check-in counter pada terminal domestik di tahun 2020.

At the end, it takes the addition of check-in counter at domestic's terminal in 2020."
