"Untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan didalam lingkungan bisnis yang terus-menerus berubah, perusahaan harus selalu memodifikasi atau menyusun kembali proses bisnis-nya. Hal ini bisa direalisasikan melalui process improvement, business process reengineering (BPR), dan business process redesign. Namun, perubahan tersebut terkadang gagal dalam memberikan hasil seperti yang diinginkan, dikarenakan ketidakmampuan didalam memprediksi tujuan secara akurat, dan ketidakcukupan untuk memodelkan aspek-aspek dinamis yang berpengaruh didalam proses. Untuk itu diperlukan tools yang tepat didalam mengevaluasi efek dari alternatif desain yang dibuat sebelum diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan proses bisnis yang tepat bagi perusahaan Mould and Dies maker, dengan tahapan: mengidentifikasi, menganalisa dan mengevaluasi risiko proses bisnis yang sudah ada, perencanaan tindakan penanganan risiko dengan Risk Management, serta perbaikan proses bisnis baru dengan metode Business Process Redesign.

In order to improve company competence in continuosly changing business environment, companies should always modify or re-arrange their business process. It can be realized through process improvement, business process reengineering (BPR), and business process redesign. But , those changes sometimes fail to give the desired result because insufficient capability to predict goals accurately, and insufficient to modelize dynamic aspects that influence the process. So the right tools are required to evaluate effect of design alternative that made before it can be implemented.

This research's goal is to design the right business process for Mould and Dies maker with steps : to identify risk, to analyze and evaluate risk of current business process, to plan risk handling with risk management, and to improve business process using Business Process Redesign method."
