ABSTRAK
BNA-R sebagai bahan aditif aspal dapat mempengaruhi sifat-sifat campuran aspal, yakni menaikkan nilai stabilitas, menurunkan nilai kelelehan plastis flow , dan menaikkan nilai Marshall Quotient MQ . Penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya hanya mengidentifikasi pengaruh penambahan BNA-R pada satu kadar aspal saja yaitu pada kadar aspal optimum. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh penambahan BNA-R terhadap sifat campuran aspal pada berbagai kadar aspal dengan metode desain faktorial. Metode desain faktorial merupakan suatu metode statistik untuk menguji pengaruh beberapa faktor dengan level yang berbeda. Dengan menggunakan metode desain faktorial, semua kemungkinan kombinasi tiap level dari faktor-faktor yang ada dapat dianalisis pengaruhnya terhadap sifat campuran aspal tanpa mematikan atau membekukan salah satu faktor. Dari hasil analisis Uji Marshall dengan Metode Desain Faktorial diperoleh hasil bahwa: kadar aspal memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan flow, MQ, VIM dan VFA, kadar BNA-R memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan stabilitas, flow, VIM dan VFA, sedangkan interaksi antar variabel kadar aspal dan kadar BNA-R tidak memiliki korelasi yang signifikan terhadap sifat campuran aspal yaitu stabilitas, flow, MQ, VIM, VMA dan VFA. Kombinasi terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah campuran aspal dengan kombinasi 5,6 aspal dengan 20 BNA-R, 5,7 aspal dengan 25 BNA-R, dan 5,8 aspal dengan 30 BNA-R.
ABSTRAK
BNA R as an asphalt additive could influence the properties of asphalt mixture, such as increasing stability point and Marshall Quotient MQ value also lowering plastic melting point. However, previous studies have only identified the effect of adding BNA R on a single asphalt content, at optimum level. This research will further analyze the effect of BNA R addition on asphalt mixture on various asphalt content by factorial design method. Factorial design method is a statistical method to test the influence of several factors with different levels. By implementing factorial design method, all possible combinations of each level from affected factors can be analyzed for their effects on the asphalt mixture without lethal or freeze any of the factors.Based on Marshall Test analysis result with Factorial Design Method, it is shown that asphalt content has significant correlation with flow, MQ, VIM and VFA, BNA R has significant correlation with stability, flow, VIM and VFA, yet interaction between asphalt and BNA R content variables does not have significant correlation to the asphalt mixture of stability, flow, MQ, VIM, VMA and VFA. The optimum combination of this research was mixture of asphalt with 5.6 asphalt mixture with 20 BNA R, 5.7 asphalt with 25 BNA R, and 5.8 asphalt with 30 BNA R.

ABSTRAK
Kekesatan permukaan perkerasan jalan (skid resistance) dapat mempengaruhi keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan. Kekesatan permukaan beton aspal memberikan gaya gesek pada roda kendaraan untuk menghindari terjadinya slip atau tergelincir, baik di waktu hujan/basah maupun di waktu kering. Pada penelitian ini dikhususkan untuk pen gujian skid resistance menggunakan alat Skid Resistance Tester / British Pendulum Tester . Analisis dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kekesatan permukaan aspal beton AC-WC Pen 60/70 dan aspal Buton Natural Asphalt (BNA) blend 75/25 yang memiliki komposisi agregat yang sama. Pengujian dilakukan pada kondisi permukaan basah.dengan variasi temperatur dari suhu 30 ºC-55 ºC. Penambahan BNA pada Laston Pen 60/70 yang menyebabkan turunnya nilai penetrasi aspal, memberikan nilai skid resistance lebih tinggi dibanding pada Laston Pen 60/70 , dan nilai skid resistance menurun seiring kenaikan temperatur permukaan.
ABSTRACT
Pavement skid resistance on the surface can affect the safety and convenience of road users. This value gives the frictional forces on the wheels of vehicles to avoid the occurrence of slip, either in the rain / wet or dry. In the current study focused for skid resistance testing using tools Skid Resistance Tester / British Pendulum Tester. Analyses were performed to evaluate the level of surface roughness of asphalt concrete AC-WC bitumen 60/70 and 75/25 Buton Natural Asphalt (BNA) blend having the same aggregate composition. Tests carried out on the wet surface conditions with a temperature variation of the temperature of 30 º C-55 º C. The addition of BNA on AC-WC bitumen 60/70 which cause a decline in the value of penetration asphalt, providing skid resistance value is higher than in AC-WC bitumen 60/70, and the skid resistance value decreases with increase in surface temperature.

[ABSTRAK Penggunaan Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) sebagai alternatif penggunaan pada perkerasan telah dilakukan di beberapa negara. Mengurangi efek rumah kaca, pengurangan penggunaan energi dan biaya yang dikeluarkan merupakan keuntungan lain penggunaan WMA. Pengurangan suhu berkisar antara 20-40⁰ C. Penggunaan BNA-R (Button Natural Asphalt Rubber) sebagai bahan tambah dapat memberi kontribusi peningkatan kekuatan campuran aspal hangat. Studi penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kontribusi BNA-R terhadap aspal dan campuran aspal hangat. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah uji properties aspal, uji Marshall dan Marshall Immersion, serta uji Wheel Tracking siklus panjang dengan perubahan suhu. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasi adanya kontribusi BNA-R terhadap campuran hangat dengan penambahan kadar terbaik sebesar 10%. Kontribusi BNA-R dapat menaikkan nilai Indeks Penetrasi sebesar 76%, menurunkan nilai penetrasi sebesar 30% dan menaikkan titik lembek sebesar 8%, serta memperbaiki sifat-sifat campuran aspal. Campuran aspal dengan BNA-R dapat menaikkan nilai stabilitas dinamis sebesar 29%.

Reducing the greenhouse gas effect, energy use and costs are several other advantages in using WMA. Temperature reduction is in approximate range between 20-40⁰ C. The use of BNA-R (Button Natural Asphalt Rubber) as an additive material which can give the contribution; such as increasing the strength of warm mix asphalt. The study of this research is conducted to determine the contribution of BNA-R on asphalt and warm mix asphalt. This research uses the properties of asphalt, Marshall and Marshall Immersion tests, as well as the Wheel Tracking test on long cycle with temperature changes. The results of this study indicate that there are several contributions of BNA-R to the warm mixture by adding BNA-R at 10%.
