"Indonesia masih mengalami bonus demografi pada tahun 2020 dan diprediksi masih berlangsung pada 2038 hingga 2041. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia, di antaranya melalui pendidikan tinggi di luar negeri. Komponen biaya pendidikan kuliah di luar negeri penting untuk diperhatikan terutama bagi pihak-pihak yang akan memberikan bantuan biaya pendidikan pada mahasiswa yang terpilih. Penelitian ini membahas pengelompokan universitas berdasarkan empat komponen biaya pendidikan program Magister (S2) di kampus luar negeri dengan metode K-Means, serta pemetaan hasil kelompok dan peringkat universitas dengan metode Biplot. Objek penelitian ini adalah universitas di luar negeri berdasarkan QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2020. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan terdapat tiga kelompok dengan nilai Silhouette sebesar 0.39. Hasil pengelompokan terdiri dari kelompok A (merah) sebanyak 302 universitas, kelompok B (oranye) sebanyak 110 universitas, dan kelompok C (hijau) sebanyak 478 universitas. Hasil pemetaan tiga kelompok dan peringkat universitas dengan menggunakan metode Biplot mampu menerangkan keragaman data sebesar 65.2 persen. Kelompok A (merah) cenderung memiliki kedekatan dengan variabel Visa, SPP, dan Biaya Hidup. Kelompok B (oranye) cenderung berdekatan dengan variabel Transportasi dan QS WUR 2020. Kelompok C (hijau) cenderung memiliki jarak yang jauh dengan empat variabel komponen biaya pendidikan dan QS WUR 2020.

For this reason, it is necessary to improve the quality of Indonesia's human resources, including through higher education abroad. The cost of studying abroad is essential to pay attention to, especially for those who will provide tuition assistance for selected students. This study discusses the clustering of universities based on the four components of the cost of education for Masters (S2) programs at overseas campuses using the K-Means method and mapping group results and university rankings using the Biplot method. The object of this research is universities abroad based on the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2020. Based on the research results, there are three clusters with Silhouette value are 0.39. The clustering result consisted of cluster A (red) with 302 universities, cluster B (orange) with 110 universities, and cluster C (green) with 478 universities. The results of mapping the three clusters and university rankings using the Biplot method were able to explain the diversity of the data by 65.2 percent. The cluster A (red) tends to have closeness to the Visa, Tuition Fee, and Cost of Living variables. The cluster B (orange) tends to be close to the Transportation variable and QS WUR 2020. The cluster C (green) tends to have a long-distance with the four component variable costs of education and QS WUR 2020."
