"Dengan perkembangan zaman masa kini, penggunaan Automated Vehicles (AV) akan menjadi hal yang umum di publik. Namun, dalam sistem pengukuran performa lalu lintas sekarang seperti travel time reliability, sistem pengukuran sekarang tidak mancakupi penggunaan kendaraan Automated Vehicles (AV). Sehingga dalam studi ini dilakukan studi literatur untuk mencari pengaruh-pengaruh dari penggunaan Automated Vehicles (AV) terhadap penggunaan sistem pengukuran performa lalu lintas yang saat ini masih digunakan. Selain itu, studi ini juga mencari tahu hal apa saja yang perlu dibenahi agar sistem pengukuran performa lalu lintas saat ini bisa mencakupi penggunaan Automated Vehicles (AV). Dalam literatur studi ini ditemukan bahwa penggunaan kendaraan berautomasi dapat memperbaiki hasil dari sistem pengukuran performa lalu lintas khususnya dalam pengukuran travel time reliability. Namun, di sisi lain, ada beberapa isu yang perlu diperhatikan jika kendaraan AV di dalam jaringan jalan yang ada. Dan dalam temuan-temuan di dalam studi ini, ditemukan bahwa bisa saja sistem pengukuran performa lalu lintas di masa mendatang tidak sepenting sekarang. Hal ini bisa terjadi karena dengan teknologi automasi beserta teknologi pendukung penggunaan automasi, performa lalu lintas dapat dikelola secara langsung. Namun, kemungkinan ini hanya bisa terjadi jika infrastruktur digital sudah bisa mendukung penuh penggunaan Automated Vehicles (AV).

With the current trends, Automated Vehicles (AV) will be commonly used in public. However, the current traffic performance measurement practice including travel time reliability, it does not include the application of AV vehicles. Hence, it is needed to be find out what impacts that AV vehicles can bring to the current performance measurement practice. And it is also needed to be find out regarding what are the things that current performance measurement needed to be improved in the current practice. It is found out that AV can enhance the results of traffic performance measurement especially the travel time reliability measures. However, there are issues that needs to be taken care of while implementing AV vehicles on the road networks. And based on these findings, it is possible that in the near future, traffic performance measurement may not be needed since with automation technology along with its supporting technology of automation, travel time reliability can be directly managed by transport agency. However, this possibility can only be achieved when the digital infrastructures are able to fully support the application of AV vehicles."
