"K-Pop merupakan salah satu budaya populer yang berkembang pesat pada keseharian masyarakat modern dan memiliki strategi untuk terus mempopulerkannya dengan berbagai medium, salah satunya adalah video musik. Film merupakan medium yang mampu mengkomunikasikan arsitektur secara lebih detail dengan karakternya yang dinamis, bentuk lebih kompleks dari foto. Di sisi lain, K-Pop memiliki kesamaan karakter dengan postmodernisme, yaitu memiliki upaya untuk membangkitkan identitas. Maka dari itu, video musik K-Pop memiliki kemampuan untuk merepresentasikan karakter arsitektur postmodern yang disimulasikan, sesuai dengan teori simulakra dan simulasi oleh Baudrillard. Relevansi terhadap representasi yang berkembang di masyarakat ini didukung oleh teori modernitas cair dan dromosphere yang menelusuri bagaimana sifat masyarakat modern yang dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan dan fleksibilitas. Maka dari itu, skripsi ini akan menelusuri bagaimana video musik K-Pop dapat menyimulasikan arsitektur ruang pada konteks masyarakat modern serta relevansinya terhadap arsitektur postmodern.

K-Pop is a popular culture that is growing rapidly in the daily lives of modern society and has a strategy to continue to popularize it through various media, one of which is music videos. Film is a medium that is able to communicate architecture in more detail with its dynamic character, more complex forms than photographs. On the other hand, K-Pop has similar characteristics to postmodernism, namely that it attempts to revive identity. Therefore, K-Pop music videos have the ability to represent the character of simulated postmodern architecture, in accordance with Baudrillard's theory of simulacra and simulation. This relevance to the representation developing in society is supported by the theory of liquid modernity and the dromosphere which explores how the nature of modern society is influenced by speed and flexibility. Therefore, this thesis will explore how K-Pop music videos can store spatial architecture in the context of modern society and its relevance to postmodern architecture."
