"Restoran Al Jazeerah merupakan salah satu restoran kuliner Arab di Menteng, Jakarta Pusat. Restoran ini menyajikan kuliner Arab yang digabungkan dengan kuliner lainnya baik lokal maupun internasional. Suatu kondisi akulturasi yang menarik untuk diteliti. Peneliti mengangkat sebuah rumusan masalah yaitu Bagaimana akulturasi antara kuliner Arab dengan kuliner di Restoran Al Jazeerah Jakarta? dan Mengapa restoran melakukan akulturasi? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan akulturasi antara kuliner Arab dengan kuliner yang terjadi di Restoran Al Jazeerah Jakarta dan menjelaskan alasan restoran melakukan akulturasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara dengan manajer dan koki restoran. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori akulturasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukan beberapa akulturasi di Restoran Al Jazeerah yang dipengaruhi oleh budaya Arab dan budaya internasional dari setting restoran, penyajian makanan, dan menu restoran.

Al Jazeerah Restaurant is one of the Arabic restaurants in Menteng, Central Jakarta. This restaurant serves Arabic cuisine that is combined with local and international cuisines. This phenomenon is interesting to be researched more. The purpose of this study is to explain the acculturation between Arabic cuisine and other cuisine that is brought out by Al Jazeerah Restaurant in Jakarta and explain the reasons of the restaurant bring out the acculturation concept. The researcher raised a problem to answer a following questions: 1) How is the acculturation between Arabic cuisine and other cuisine at Al Jazeerah Jakarta Restaurant? and 2) Why do restaurants do the cuisine acculturation? This study use a qualitative method with literature study, observation, and interviews with a restaurant manager and chefs. The theory that is used in this research is acculturation theory. The results of this study are the Al Jazeera Restaurants were several acculturation things at Al Jazeerah Restaurant which were influenced by Arab culture and international culture such as table settings, interior design, food presentation, and restaurant menu. Al Jazeerah Restaurant did acculturation as a form of innovation and strategy to survive in the COVID-19 pandemic situation."

"ABSTRAK
Jurnal ini akan membahas tentang bagaimana dampak ekonomi dan budaya dari perkembangan pariwisata halal di Negara Oman. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah terjadi lonjakan dalam industri pariwisata di Negara Oman, hal itu terjadi karena Negara Oman melakukan strategi dengan adanya pariwisata Halal di Oman. Sebagai bagian dari Strategi Pembangunan Pariwisata 2040 Oman menargetkan menjadi Negara tujuan utama untuk pariwisata halal di kawasan Teluk dan dunia.Oman memang bagian dari Negara Timur Tengah yang kental akan budaya Arab. Tapi ternyata hal itu tak berarti mereka cukup akrab dengan istilah wisata halal. Justru baru akhir-akhir inilah istilah itu menjadi populer di kalangan wisatawan asal Oman. Meskipun jika dilihat secara geografis dan geologis Oman merupakan Negara yang didominasi dengan gurun pasir seperti di Negara Timur Tengah lainnya, namun tanpa kita ketahui Oman mempunyai lebih dari seribu mil garis pantai dengan pemandangan pantai terbaik yang menarik minat para wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Negara Oman. Dengan strategi dalam bidang pariwisata halal ini akan membantu meningkatankan pendapatan lebih di Oman. Dalam jurnal ini, peneliti menggunakan metode studi pustaka yaitu dengan mencari sumber buku, jurnal ilmiah atau website resmi dari Negara Oman yang dianggap valid kemudian menginterpretasikan informasi-informasi tersebut menjadi satu kesatuan yaitu penulisan ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan informasi tentang dampak ekonomi dan budaya dari perkembangan pariwisata di Negara Oman.

ABSTRACT
This journal explain about the impacts of economic and culture on halal tourism devepolment in Oman. Tourism industry in Oman has been sspiked in recent years, this happened because Oman did strategy with Halal Tourism in Oman. As part of the Tourism Development Strategy 2040, Oman targets to become the main destination for Halal Tourism in the Gulf region and the world. Oman is part of the Middle Eastern country that is thick with Arab culture. But that does not mean they are quit familiar with the term Halal Tours. It is recently that the term became popular among tourists from Oman. Although based on geographically and geologically, Oman is is a predominantly desert country like other Middle Eastern countries, but we do not know that Oman has more than a thousand miles of coastline with the best coastal scenery that attracts tourists to visit Oman. With strategy on Halal Toursm, it will help increasing revenue in Oman. In this journal, researcher used literature study method, that is by searching the search of the books, scientific journal or official website of Oman deemed valid then interpret the information into one unity that is this writing. This research is purposed to provide information on the economic and cultural impact of tourism development in Oman."

"ABSTRAK
This paper explores the influence of Arab culture on the culture of Bugis Makassar, the two major ethnic groups in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, particularly after their Islamization in the early 17 th century. The paper argues that since then, the ongoing process of Islamization in the region has also brought a continuous flow of ideas and cultural practices from Mecca to Indonesia by means of the hajj pilgrims, Arab traders, and the establishment of Islamic educational institutions that emphasized the teaching and use of Arabic language in education. These factors, among others, have facilitated a cultural inflow which enabled cultural practices borne of West Asia (Middle East) to be integrated into local customs and beliefs. The paper particularly depicts the most observable forms of Arabic cultural integration, acculturation, and assimilation into the Bugis Makassar culture such as the use of Arabic in Islamic schools and religious sermons, the Arab style dressing by religious scholars, teachers, and students, the wearing of the hijab (head cover) by women, and the change of peoples names from local into Arabic. By utilizing the historical and anthropological approach, this paper investigates this dynamic process of adaptation and integration of a foreign culture that first came through the Islamization of a local culture, exploring the role of an Islamic missionary and educational institutions in mediating and maintaining such cultural integration processes."

Tulisan ini menganalisis wacana media iklan produk makanan Indonesia seperti produk mi instan Indomie di negara-negara Arab. Upaya produk-produk makanan Indonesia di pasar internasional, termasuk di negara-negara Arab, sebagian besar disebabkan oleh strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan adaptif terhadap budaya lokal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis iklan televisi dan poster, dengan tujuan mengungkap bagaimana elemen linguistik, semiotik, dan sosiokultural digunakan untuk membentuk pesan iklan yang persuasif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana dengan data berupa transkrip iklan televisi dan elemen visual dari poster iklan. Strategi iklan produk-produk ini berupaya menjembatani kesenjangan budaya dengan menyesuaikan pesan pemasaran sesuai dengan nilai dan preferensi lokal, meskipun terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara citra ideal yang dibangun dan realitas konsumsi produk. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang pentingnya adaptasi budaya dalam pemasaran global dan dampaknya terhadap penerimaan konsumen.

This paper analyzes the media discourse of Indonesian food product advertisements such as Indomie instant noodles in Arab countries. The efforts of Indonesian food products in the international market, including in Arab countries, are largely due to effective and adaptive marketing strategies to local cultures. This research focuses on analyzing television commercials and posters, aiming to uncover how linguistic, semiotic, and sociocultural elements are used to construct persuasive advertising messages. The method employed is discourse analysis, with data consisting of transcripts of television commercials and visual elements from advertising posters. The advertising strategies of these products attempt to bridge the cultural gap by adjusting marketing messages according to local values and preferences, despite differences in perception between the ideal image built and the reality of product consumption. This research provides in-depth insights into the importance of cultural adaptation in global marketing and its impact on consumer acceptance."
