Abstrak :
Masalah penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor apakah yang mempengaruhi perilaku memilih pasangan Anak Agung Gde Agung - Sudikerta dalam pilkada di Kabupaten Badung tahun 2005. Dari beberapa pendekatan yang dikemukakan Dennis Kavanagh, penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan yakni: pendekatan sosiologis dan pendekatan psikologis. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku memilih adalah, kepemimpinan, identifikasi pat-tai, isu-isu politik dan identifikasi "kasta". Dari 386 responden yang diambil secara purposive di 62 desa menunjukkan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan lebih dominan mempengaruhi perilaku memilih. Sebagian besar responden berpendapat kepemimpinan Anak Agung Gde Agung mempengaruhi perilaku memilih mereka. Preferensi memilih Anak Agung Gde Agung sebagian besar karena unsur "kharisma" dari kebangsawanannya disamping kemampuannya "Kharisma" bangsawan menurut Anderson harus dilihat secara antropologis-kultural, di mana "kharisma" lebih merupakan sifat yang menurut anggapan dari para pengikutnya ada pada pemimpin itu. Ini menunjukkan preferensi memilih bersifat carnpuran antara unsur tradisioiial dan rasional. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa dalam pemilihan langsung terdapat kecenderungan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan lebih dominan mempengaruhi perilaku memilih. Signifikansi teoritis penelitian ini adalah dalam pemilihan langsung di tingkat lokal di mana kultur tradisionalnya masih kuat, perilaku memilih dipengaruhi oleh pendekatan psikologis dan pendekatan sosiologis secara bersamaan. Menurut Anak Agung Gde Putra Agung, unsur "kharisma" dari bangsawan didukung oleh sistem "kasta", merupakan pendekatan sosiologis. Sementara preferensi terhadap kemampuan rnencenninkan orientasi individual pemilih, merupakan pendekatan psikologis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa hal. Pertama, diperlukan peningkatan sosialisasi politik oleh ages-agen sosialisasi untuk mengintemalisasikan nilai-nilai demokrasi sehingga dapat mengembangan demokrasi di masa datang. Kedua, diperlukan kajian-kajian tentang perilaku memilih secara lebih luas dan mendalam terutama untuk mengetahui karakteristik pendukung partai-partai di Bali pada pemilu-pemilu pasca Orde Baru.

The subject of this research is what factors influencing the behavior for electing deputy and vice of regent candidates Anak Agung Gde Agung - Sudikerta in the local regent election in Badung Regency in 2005. From some approaches reveal by Dennis Kavanagh, this research had used approaches those are sociological approach and psychological approach. The factors influencing the behavior to vote are the leadership, party identification, political issues and "caste" identification. From 386 respondents taken purposively in 62 villages had indicated that more dominantly, leadership factors had influenced. Most of respondents had made opinion that Anak Agung Gde Agung leadership had influenced their behavior to vote. Respondents' preference to vote for Anak Agung Gde Agung mostly because of nobility status besides because of his competences. According to the Anderson it should be viewed in cultural and anthropological natures. By which charisma more representing that of according to the followers inherent to this leader. Variedly , it reflected the preference to vote focused on the traditional and rational/modern element. The conclusion drawn from this research that there was the tendency in which more dominantly, leadership factors influencing voting behavior. was more dominant compared to other factors. The theoretical significance from this research was that in the direct election at local level in which its traditional culture is still strong and simultaneously, the voting behavior trend to be influenced by psychological and sociological. approaches. According to Anak Agung Gde Putra Agung, the charisma element of nobility supported by "caste" system as sociological approach. Meanwhile the preference to the capability reflected orientation of voting behavior a psychological approach. This research recommends some issues. The First, it is required the increasing of political socialization through agents who socialize the political issues in order to internalize values of democracy to be developed in the future. Secondly, it is required studies on voting behavior both more deeply and diversely specially, to know the characteristics of supporting parties in Bali for general elections post New Order Regime.

Kyai dan Jawara ditengah ? tengah masyarakat Banten sejak dahulu menempati peran yang sangat strategis. Kedudukanya yang sangat dihormati menjadikanya sebagai tempat untuk dimintakan pendapat terhadap berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Pendapatnya bahkan kerap sangat menentukan berbagai perubahan yang terjadi dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan masyarakat Banten termasuk didalamnya dalam bidang politik. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengkaji praktik dan pengaruh kepemimpinan Kyai dan Jawara pada pemilihan kepala daerah di Kota Serang, Propinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kepemimpinan yang dikeluarkan oleh Kouzes dan Posner bahwa seorang pemimpin memberikan contoh, menginspirasi visi bersama, memberikan semangat, menantang proses, memungkinkan orang lain bertindak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik wawancara secara mendalam kepada para informan untuk mendapatkan data. Selain itu digunakan juga studi pustaka untuk melengkapinya.Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa Kyai dan Jawara mempraktikan kepemimpinanya dengan cara berbeda. Kyai dengan cara bebas dan demokratis, sementara Jawara dengan cara otoriter. Hasil lainya yaitu pengaruh kepemimpinan Jawara dalam Pilkada lebih kuat daripada Kyai......Kyai and Jawara had placed in a strategic part in the Banten communities for long time. Their position is so respectful that make them an advisor of the community especially in solving problems in the society. Their opinions usually are decisive in deciding all kind of changes that occur in many aspects of life in the society included the politic. This research is conducted to study the practices and influences of Kyai and Jawara in the Regent Election in Serang, Banten. This research used the leadership theory by Kouzes and Posner (2004) who stated five leadership practises which are giving model the way, inspire a shared vision, encourage the heart, challenge the process, and enable others to act. It also used qualitative approach and made several depth interviews with the informants to gather the data. Besides, the researcher also applied the literature study to complete it.The result of the research shows that Kyai and Jawara practise their leadership differently. The Kyai use a more moderate and democratic way, while the Jawara use the authoritative. Another conclusion is the fact that the leadership influences of the Jawara are stronger that the Kyai.

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses palm oil politics in the regent election of Nagan Raya 2017. Palm oil politics is a term referring to the political behaviour of business people (toke), involving the palm oil land and palm oil plantation owners during the regent election of Nagan Raya 2017. Nagan Raya regency is one of the largest palm oil producers in Aceh, where there are at least 18 companies and proprietorshzps in operation. This research is a qualitative research aimed to determine the motivation and participation of toke sawpit in the regent election of Nagan Raya. Toke Sawits are businessmen dependent on the state for business licensing and expanding land-use, which are related to environmental protection issues such as avoiding responsibility for ecological damage. Thus, some participate in regent politics by becoming a candidate and others act as supporters of regent candidates in the form of providing fUnds and mobilizing workers in their plantation. Motivation of toke sawpit is to get ease of doing business and have a role reinforcement of land conversion and deforestation issues.
