"Anak-anak kecil kerap mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan pada usia empat sampai tujuh tahun. Zusje, seorang tokoh utama komik strip Zusje karya Gerrit de Jager, merupakan anak berusia lima tahun yang suka mengajukan pertanyaan kepada orang terdekatnya. Pelanggaran maksim terjadi saat mitra tutur Zusje menjawab pertanyaannya dengan tidak mematuhi prinsip kerja sama Grice. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pelanggaran maksim yang terdapat pada respons dari mitra tutur Zusje terhadap pertanyaan yang Zusje ajukan. Pelanggaran ini dianalisis dari bentuk kalimat tanya Zusje, serta jawaban yang diberikan mitra tuturnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan paparan mengenai tujuan pelanggaran maksim pada percakapan yang mengandung kalimat tanya Zusje beserta respons yang didapat dari mitra tutur Zusje. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif yang didasari oleh studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan Zusje didominasi oleh pertanyaan ya/tidak (ja/nee-vragen). Pelanggaran maksim sering terjadi saat mitra tutur Zusje memberikan respons atas pertanyaan Zusje, yaitu maksim relevansi. Pelanggaran maksim tersebut didominasi oleh tujuan untuk menyampaikan pesan sindiran, yaitu menggambarkan realitas kehidupan masa kini dan menyindirnya.

Children between four and seven years old often ask questions. The main character named Zusje is a five-year-old child from the comic strip Zusje by Gerrit de Jager who likes to ask questions to those who are closest to her. Maxim violation happens when Zusje’s speech partner answering her question without obeying the principles of cooperation by Grice. This research discusses the violation of maxims contained in the response of Zusje’s speech partner to the question Zusje asked. This violation is analyzed from the form of Zusje’s question sentence, as well as the answer given by her speech partner. The purpose of this research is to explain the purpose of maxim violations in conversations containing Zusje’s questions and the responses obtained from her speech partner. This research is a qualitative with descriptive analysis method based on literature review. The results indicate that questions by Zusje were dominated by yes/no questions (ja/nee-vragen). Violations of maxims often occurred when Zusje’s speech partner gave response to her question, namely maxim of relevance. Violation of these maxims has a dominant purpose as conveying a satirical message to describe and satirize the reality of today’s life."

"Zusje edisi Online Werken adalah sebuah komik strip karya Gerrit de Jager yang dirilis melalui website pribadinya pada tahun 2020. Komik ini memuat lebih banyak percakapan antar para tokoh yang terjadi secara daring sebagai bentuk penggambaran situasi pada masa pandemi di Belanda. Sama halnya dengan percakapan luring, dalam percakapan daring juga terdapat tindak tutur dan kendala yang dapat menghambat prosesnya, seperti tidak terpenuhinya “Prinsip Kerja Sama” pada implikatur percakapan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba mengkaji bagaimana tindak tutur yang terdapat pada percakapan daring di empat bagian cerita dari komik Zusje edisi Online Werken menggunakan teori tindak tutur dari J. L. Austin dan Searle. Selain itu, ketidakpatuhan maksim pada implikatur dalam percakapan daring ini juga turut dianalis dengan teori H. P. Grice. Penelitian ini mengkaji tuturan para tokoh menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis-deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa tindak tutur yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah tindak tutur asertif. Sedangkan dalam implikatur percakapan, terlihat bahwa ketidakpatuhan cenderung terjadi pada maksim kuantitas dan relevansi dengan jenis ketidakpatuhan berupa pengabaian pada maksim.

Zusje in Online Werken edition is a comic strip by Gerrit de Jager which was published on his personal website in 2020. This comic contains more conversations between the characters online as a form of describing the situation during the pandemic in the Netherlands. Similar to offline conversations, there are also speech acts and obstacles in online conversations that can hinder the process, such as not fulfilling the "Principles of Cooperation" in the conversation implicatures. Therefore, the author tries to examine how the speech acts contained in online conversations in the four parts of the story from the Zusje comics in the Online Werken edition use the speech act theory of J. L. Austin and Searle. In addition, non-observance maxims on implicature in online conversations is also analyzed with the theory according to H. P. Grice. This study examines the utterances of the characters using a qualitative method with an analytical-descriptive approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the most common speech acts found are assertive speech acts. Meanwhile, in conversational implicatures, it is seen that disobedients tend to occur in the maxim of quantity and relevance to the type of disobedient in the form of flouting a maxim."
