......This research aims to suggestions of sustainable manufacturing policy, using cluster analysis method and gap analysis, based on selected variables that reflect indicators sustainable manufacturing at Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Metal Industrial District in Regency of Tegal. This indicators include indicators of economic growth, social well-being, technological advance, performance management and environmental stewardship. The clustering produces cluster growth and cluster mature. According to the characteristic of the cluster, the resulting recommendations of policy is the provisions of incentives, applications of punishment, development of a sustainable infrastructure in industrial areas, building a green industrial information system through the establishment of business groups and giving the group the opportunity to play an active role, increasing the ability of technological innovation, involving the active role of educational institutions and research and development, socialization programs and trainning about cleaner production and National Indonesia Standar (SNI).

Abstract
Remanufacturing is a manufacturing system that has sustainability in environment and economic aspect. However, remanufacturing can only produce 62% of all demand. So, it can affect company?s performance to fulfill consumer demand which always increase continuously. Therefore, the remanufacturing company need a good production strategy to increase production output in normal and uncertainty external factor condition. Object oriented modelling is one of the simulation methods that can be used to choose the best production strategy. Based on three production strategy that have been simulated in this study, increasing worker efficiency is the best strategy in remanufacturing system which can improve production output in normal and uncertainty condition.

This book reports on the latest research and applications in the fields of sustainable manufacturing and remanufacturing, as well as process planning and optimization technologies. It introduces innovative algorithms, methodologies, industrial case studies and applications. It focuses on two topics: sustainable manufacturing for machining technologies and remanufacturing of waste electronic equipment, and various methods are covered for each one, including macro process planning, dynamic scheduling, selective disassembly planning and cloud-based disassembly planning. The experimental analysis provided for every method explains the benefits, as well as how they are sustainable for various real-world applications. This book is a valuable resource for researchers in sustainable manufacturing, remanufacturing and product lifecycle management communities, as well as practicing engineers and decision-makers in industry and all those interested in sustainable product development. It is also useful reading material for postgraduates and academics wanting to conduct relevant research, and a reference resource for manufacturing engineers developing innovative tools and methodologies.

This open access book summarizes research being pursued within the Manutelligence project, the goal of which is to help enterprises develop smart, social and flexible products with high value added services. Manutelligence has improved Product and Service Design by developing suitable models and methods, and connecting them through a modular, collaborative and secure ICT Platform. The use of real data collected in real time by Internet of Things (IoT) technologies underpins the design of product-service systems and makes it possible to monitor them throughout their life cycle. Available data allows costs and sustainability issues to be more accurately measured and simulated in the form of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Analysing data from IoT systems and sharing LCC and LCA information via the ICT Platform can help to accelerate the design of product-service systems, reduce costs and better understand customer needs. Industrial partners involved in Manutelligence provide a clear overview of the project’s outcomes, and demonstrate how its technological solutions can be used to improve the design of product-service systems and the management of product-service life cycles.
