Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi tipologi jaringan sosial para pendiri perusahaan rintisan dan kerangka institusional yang membentuk tindakan perusahaan rintisan di inkubator Bandung Digital Valley, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Institusionalisme Baru yang dirumuskan oleh Victor Nee. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan Extended Case Method. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pengamatan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan kunci, yaitu manajemen inkubator Bandung Digital Valley dan para pendiri perusahaan-perusahaan rintisan yang diinkubasi di sana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa institusi formal yang membentuk tindakan perusahaan rintisan di Bandung Digital Valley berupa kebijakan pemerintah, birokrasi, hak kekayaan intelektual, dan kontrak. Institusi informal tidak secara jelas mengemuka dalam studi ini, sehingga yang terjadi adalah keselarasan (close-coupling) antara institusi formal dalam bentuk norma organisasi inkubator dan institusi informal yang dihasilkan dari mekanisme sosial antar pendiri perusahaan rintisan. Yang mengemuka justru tipologi jaringan sosial, baik internal maupun eksternal, sebagai strategi dari pendiri perusahaan rintisan dalam merespons target-target dan norma organisasi di Bandung Digital Valley.

ABSTRACT
This study explores the typology of social networks and the institutional frameworks that shape the action of the startup companies in Bandung Digital Valley, a digital business incubator located at Bandung, West Java. The New Institutionalism in Sociology, as formulated by Victor Nee, is employed as the theoretical lens for this study. This is a qualitatitive study that uses the Extended Case Method approach. The collection of data was conducted by observation and in-depth interview with the management of Bandung Digital Valley and the founders of startup companies. The results of this study show that the formal institutions shape the actions of startup companies through government policies, bureaucracy, intellectual property rights, and contracts. The informal institutions are not explicitly emerge in this study, so the result is a close-coupling between formal institution in the form of organizational norms and the informal institution that implicitly emerge from the social mechanisms between the founders. "Pentingnya taktik sosialisasi memberikan organisasi keunggulan kompetitif dan anggota berkomitmen tinggi, seperti produktivitas tinggi dan rendahnya tingkat turnover di antara para anggota. Oleh karena itu, organisasi dengan berbagai ukuran dan tipe rela berinvestasi pada kebijakan dan praktik organisasi yang mendorong komitmen anggotanya. Perusahaan startup menjadi konteks dalam penelitian ini karena mereka telah menerima perhatian selama beberapa dekade terakhir. Selain itu, mereka dianggap sebagai kekuatan pendorong baru untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi di dunia dan termasuk negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Studi ini menguji pengaruh taktik sosialisasi pada komitmen organisasi pendatang baru melalui mekanisme relasional dengan melihat sejauh mana pendatang baru merasakan dukungan dan bantuan dari organisasi dalam proses adaptasi terhadap lingkungan kerja baru (perceived organizational suppor (POS)) dan pada sejauh mana pendatang baru memiliki jaringan hubungan dengan anggota organisasi lainnya (job embeddedness). Data dikumpulkan dari 188 karyawan baru perusahaan startup di sekitar Jakarta (Jabodetabek). Konsisten dengan hipotesis penelitian, taktik sosialisasi memengaruhi komitmen organisasi pendatang baru melalui perceived organizational support (POS) dan job embeddedness. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung hubungan antara taktik sosialisasi dan komitmen melalui mekanisme relasional yang ditangkap oleh perceived organizational (POS) yang dirasakan pendatang baru dan job embeddedness.

The importance of socialization tactics provides organization members with high commitment and competitive advantage, such as high productivity and love turnover among employees. Therefore, organization of various sizes and types are willing to invest in organizational policies and practices that can encourage the commitment of their members. Start-up companies become the context in this study since they have received considerable attention in recent decades. Moreover, they are considered as a new driving force for economic growth in the world and including developing countries like Indonesia. This study examines influence of socialization tactics on newcomer`s organizational commitment through relational mechanism by looking at the extent to which newcomers feel he support and assistance from organization in the process of adaptation to the new work environment (perceived organizational support/POS) and at the extent to which newcomers have a network of relationships with other organization members (job embeddedness). Data Collected from 188 new employees of start-up companies around Jakarta. Consistent with our hypotheses, organization tactics influence newcomer`s organizational commitment through perceived organizational support (POS) and job embeddedness. The result supports the relationship between socialization tactics and commitment through relational mechanism which is captured by newcomer`s perceived organizational support (POS) and job embeddedness."

"Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepeimpinan transformasional sebagai faktor pendorong terciptanya perilaku organizational citizenship behaviors melalui mediasi keterlibatan kerja dan transfer pelatihan pada karyawan perusahaan startup di Indonesia. Responden penelitian adalah karyawan perusahaan startup di Indonesia yang telah mendapatkan pelatihan secara formal, pembelajaran informal, maupun pendidikan non-formal dalam bentuk sertifikasi selama bekerja. Total responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 240 orang dan structural equation modelling digunakan sebagai metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap terciptanya organizational citizenship behaviors, baik secara langsung, maupun tidak langsung dengan dimediasi oleh keterlibatan kerja dan transfer pelatihan.

This study aims to determine the impact of transformational leadership style as a driving factor for employees to exhibit organizational citizenship behavior through mediation of work engagement and transfer of training on start-up companies in Indonesia. Respondents are employees of startup companies in Indonesia that have received formal training, informal learning, and non-formal education as well. Total respondents in this study were 240 employees and structural equation modeling is used as analysis method. The results showed that transformational leadership has a significant direct effect towards organizational citizenship, as well as indirectly through mediation of and training transfers."
