Abstrak :
In this thesis will explain about implementing accounting standards which must be modified according to its characteristics. Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad mainly adopted from International Accounting Standards, and Accounting Standards for Islamic Financial Institutions. There are some adjustments from both standards. It can create its own accounting system characteristics. The important things are the users of financial statement can understand and know how to use them. Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad was introduced to practice banking and financing activities based on the Shari'ah Islarni'ah principles derived mainly from Al-Quran and AI-Sunnah. The problem of this study, as showed some relevance of Accounting Standards for Islamic Financial Institutions for Islamic Banks, The Case of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad. This study will show how ASIFI adopted. There are some adjustment regarding its own environment. Scope of writing will be included accounting standards for Islamic Banks, which support by International Accounting Standards and Accounting Standards for Islamic Financial Institution. There are some similarities and differences from both standards. It is also investigate Islamic Banking System in Malaysia; it is called Interest Free Banking Systems that regulate transaction with other Islamic bank and central bank. However, in its application, some scholars give some critical argument about BIMB operations. Those critics are connected with Islamic laws that some of them might be ignored.

Dasar pemberlakuan standar wajib Helm ber-SNI adalah Permen Perindustrian RI No.40/M-IND/PER/4/2009 tentang Perubahan Atas PermenPerindustrian Nomor 40/M-IND/PER/6/2008 tentang Pemberlakuan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) Helm Pengendara Kendaraan Bermotor Roda Dua Secara Wajib. Dalam proses formulasi suatu kebijakan, pemerintah sebelumnya mengidentifikasi terhadap permasalahan yang terjadi. Setelah melakukan identifikasi masalah, pemerintah akan melakukan tahapan-tahapan dalam membuat sebuah kebijakan. Berdasarkan data yang didapat dan permasalahan lalu lintas yang dihadapi masyarakat khususnya pada pengendara sepeda motor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1.) Menggambarkan latar belakang kebijakan pemberlakuan wajib SNI helm bagi penegndara kendaraan bermotor roda dua. 2. Menganalisis proses formulasi kebijakan pemberlakuan wajib SNI helm bagi pengendara kendaraan bermotor roda dua. Berdasarkan pendekatan penelitian, penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini data yang akan digunakan oleh peneliti sebagai penunjang bagi pembahasan yang akan dilakukan bersifat kualitatif. Peneliti menggambarkan tentang proses yang terjadi dalam sebuah perumusan kebijakan publik. Data tersebut dapat berupa data primer maupun data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan para informan yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang ditulis peneliti, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku literatur atau data kepustakaan serta produk hukum yang dikeluarkan terkait SNI helm. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dapat diungkap fenomena yang terjadi serta hal-hal yang melatarbelakanginya kebijakan tersebut. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, peneliti berusaha menggambarkan atau menjelaskan mengenai permasalahan penelitian ini sampai dibentuknya peraturan wajib helm SNI.

ABSTRAK RTTV atau Roof Thermal Transmittance Value adalah paket kebijakan pemerintah RI dalam bidang konservasi energi yang mengatur nilai perpindahan panas pada atap. Dalam hal ini nilainya tidak boleh melebihi 45 Watt/meter². Aturan yang mengacu pada SNI T?14?1993?03 ini di buat betujuan agar bangunan dapat menghemat energi pada tahap pengoperasian dan pemeliharaannya, tanpa harus mengubah atau mengurangi fungsi bangunan tersebut. Penelitian ini mengambil bangunan studi kasus yaitu perumahan real estate menengah ke bawah di Kota Depok yang dianggap dapat mewakili untuk melihat faktor penentu nilai RTTV ini. Variabel yang menentukan nilai RTTV adalah luas atap, baik yang tembus cahaya maupun tidak, nilai transmitansi atap(tergantung dari materialnya), baik yang tembus cahaya maupun tidak, dan faktor radiasi matahari (SF). Faktor radiasi matahari yang dimaksud adalah pada saat maksimum dan minimum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif. Hal ini karena dalam penelitian ini banyak melibatkan perhitungan kinerja atap terhadap nilai RTTV, dan perhitungan radiasi. Perumahan yang distudi dipilih yang menggunakan atap dengan material yang berbeda, yatiu metal sheet tanpa insulasi, genteng keramik tanpa insulasi, dan genteng keramik yang dilengkapi insulasi. Hasil perhitungan RTTV menunjukkan bahwa atap yang paling memenuhi kriteria konservasi energi adalah atap genteng keramik yang menggunakan insulasi, dan yang paling boros energi adalah atap metal sheet tanpa insulasi. Hasil ini juga diperkuat dengan bukti empiris yang menunjukkan hal senada. Dalam hal ini data empiris diperoleh melalui pengukuran fluktuasi suhu udara yang terjadi pada ruang antara atap dan plafond pada masing-masing atap.
ABSTRACT RTTV or Roof Thermal Transmittance Value is a policy package the government of Indonesia in the energy conservation sector, which set the value of heat transfer on the roof. In this case the value should not exceed 45 Watt/meter². Rules referring to the SNI T-14-1993-03 is made to reach the building aims to save energy in operation and maintenance phases, without having to change or reduce the function of the building. This research takes a case study of building residential real estate in the middle to lower in Depok, which is considered to represent to see the determinants of this RTTV value. The variables that determine the RTTV value consist of the area of roof, whether translucent or not, the transmittance value of roof(depend on each materials), whether translucent or not, and solar radiation factor (SF). In this case solar factor measured at maximum and minimum condition. This research use quantitative method to calculate RTTV and solar radiation. Selected housing for this research uses any kind of different roof materials, which consist of sheet metal roof without insulation, ceramic tiles without insulation, and ceramic tiles with insulation. The calculations result of RTTV value show that the best performance of roof will meet the criteria of energy conservation is a ceramic tile roof with insulation, and the most wasteful energy is sheet metal roof without insulation. This result is also reinforced by empirical evidence showing that match. In this case the empirical data obtained through the measurement of air temperature fluctuations which occur in the space between each roof and ceiling.

Nearly three-quarters of college students cheat during their undergraduate careers, a startling number attributed variously to the laziness of today's students, their lack of a moral compass, or the demands of a hypercompetitive society. For James Lang, cultural or sociological explanations like these are red herrings. His provocative new research indicates that students often cheat because their learning environments give them ample incentives to try--and that strategies which make cheating less worthwhile also improve student learning. Cheating Lessons is a practical guide to tackling academic dishonesty at its roots. Drawing on an array of findings from cognitive theory, Lang analyzes the specific, often hidden features of course design and daily classroom practice that create opportunities for cheating. Courses that set the stakes of performance very high, that rely on single assessment mechanisms like multiple-choice tests, that have arbitrary grading criteria: these are the kinds of conditions that breed cheating. Lang seeks to empower teachers to create more effective learning environments that foster intrinsic motivation, promote mastery, and instill the sense of self-efficacy that students need for deep learning. Although cheating is a persistent problem, the prognosis is not dire. The good news is that strategies which reduce cheating also improve student performance overall. Instructors who learn to curb academic dishonesty will have done more than solve a course management problem--they will have become better educators all around
