Medical surgical nursing residency clinical practice in patients with musculoskeletal system disorders aims to implement the role of specialist nurses as nursing care providers, educators, researchers, and innovators. The role of the nursing care provider was carried out using Orem's Self Care Theory approach to neglected hip dislocation patients and 30 other patients with various musculoskeletal system disorders. The role as an educator is carried out by specialist nurses for patients and also colleagues in the hospital service setting. The application of EBN (Evidence Based Nursing), namely by listening to music to reduce pain in postoperative joint arthroplasty patients, is carried out to apply the role of a researcher. Innovation projects are also carried out as an embodiment of the role as an innovator, namely through the implementation of an innovation project in the form of a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) risk assessment format."
