Motor Induksi telah mendominasi bidang konversi energi elektromekanik dengan penggunaan sekitar 80% dari berbagai jenis motor listrik yang digunakan. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa kerusakan pada motor adalah current signature analysis. Sinyal arus motor dideteksi dengan current tranducer, dilewatkan pada signal conditioning kemudian akuisisi data dan dianalisa oleh komputer dengan Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).
