ABSTRAK
The changing reality of libraries actually is a form of communication by the library management. The Language of libraries, is a representation of libraries through language. Various definitions of libraries from the literatures are representations of libraries through language. This study aims to examine the changing meaning of libraries from time to time.Data Collection Method. Data collection was conducted by involving documentation of various discourses discussing libraries.Analysis Data. Discursive genealogy was used to analyse the data to provide changes of meaning of libraries from time to time. Results and Discussions. The result showed that the meaning of libraries continues to change. The current meaning of libraries is a room or institution where information is stored and gathered. Libraries are hubs of users' needs including space, services, and various resources to support education, research, information, and recreation.Conclusion. Various changes of meaning of Libraries from time to time show that the representation of libraries through language has changed. The meaning of libraries may change and deconstruct.

Tesis ini mengkaji manga Buddha karya Osamu Tezuka yang menceritakan riwayat Buddha Sakyamuni. Dalam mangatersebut ditampilkan banyak tokoh perempuan yang memiliki peranan penting dalam menggerakkan alur cerita. Tujuh di antaranya menjadi objek penelitian dalam tesis ini yaitu Ibu Chapra, Migaila, Lata, Visakha, Yasodhara, Sujata dan Iblis Ular. Ketujuh tokoh tersebut mengalami objektifikasi dengan ditampilkan sebagai korban, penggoda dan penghalang. Tujuh tanda objektifikasi dari Nussbaum dan tiga tanda objektifikasi dari Langton digunakan untuk melihat terjadinya objektifikasi pada tokoh perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis visual dan tekstual. Dengan menampilkan tokoh perempuan yang terobjektifikasi, maka manga ini tidak merefleksikan pandangan ajaran Buddha terhadap perempuan. Perempuan dalam ajaran Buddha dipandang sebagai sosok yang memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk mencapai kesadaran (attainment of Buddhahood), bukan sosok yang terobjektifikasi ......This thesis analyses Buddha, a manga by Osamu Tezuka which tells stories about the Buddha’s life. Buddha displays many women characters which have important roles in moving the plot. Seven women characters were chosen as the object of the research. They are the mother of chapra, Migaila, Lata, Visakha, Sujata, Yashodara and Snake Evil. Nussbaum’s seven notions of objectification and Langton’s three notions of objectification were used to reveal the objectification and women’s characters. This research used textual and visual methods of analysis. The objectified women that are represented in this manga do not reflect Buddhism’s view toward women in general. Women in Buddhism were viewed as people who also had the same opportunity to attain Buddhahood, not as objectified women.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh diimplementasikannya UU No.2 Tahun 2011 tentang Partai Politik ke dalam ART Partai Gerindra tentang keterwakilan minimal 30% perempuan di dalam kepengurusan Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Partai Gerindra. Terdapat 144 orang anggota perempuan di dalam kepengurusan Dewan Pimpinan Pusat dari total keseluruhan 494 orang. Kepengurusan DPP Partai Gerindra periode 2014-2019 merupakan hasil penyempurnaan pengurus setelah dilaksanakannya Kongres Luar Biasa Partai Gerindra pada September 2014 dalam mengisi kekosongan Ketua Umum. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang pola-pola di dalam rekrutmen perempuan di kepengurusan Dewan Pimpinan Pusat setelah Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto terpilih. Teori-teori yang digunakan untuk membantu dalam analisis dan menjawab pertanyaan penelitian berasal dari teori Susan Scarrow mengenai demokrasi internal partai; teori Barbara Geddes mengenai pola rekrutmen di dalam partai politik; dan teori Jenny Chapman mengenai perempuan dan rekrutmen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan teknik analisis data dengan penelitian naratif yang melibatkan penceritaan kembali partisipan (objek) penelitian untuk mendukung validitas hasil analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memperoleh Surat Keputusan mengenai pengesahan susunan pengurus Dewan Pimpinan Pusat tahun 2012, 2014, dan 2015. Penelitian ini juga melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap perempuan-perempuan yang menjabat sebagai pengurus DPP Partai Gerindra, aktivis perempuan Partai Gerindra, dan pimpinan Partai Gerindra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima pola rekrutmen perempuan di dalam kepengurusan Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Partai Gerindra periode 2014-2019. Secara substansial, terjadi kenaikan jumlah perempuan dari kepengurusan periode sebelumnya. Perempuan memang diinklusikan ke dalam kepengurusan, namun keterwakilan politik perempuan Partai Gerindra dapat dikatakan sangat kurang karena perempuan tidak ditempatkan pada posisi yang memungkinkan untuk mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan. Meski terdapat perempuan di jajaran Dewan Pembina sebagai dewan tertinggi, tetapi secara kuantitas masih didominasi oleh laki-laki. Implikasi teori menunjukkan bahwa demokrasi internal Partai Gerindra masih eksklusif di dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan terdapat tambahan satu pola rekrutmen dari empat yang disebutkan oleh Barbara Geddes di dalam kasus rekrutmen perempuan di DPP Partai Gerindra
ABSTRACT
This research of background by the implementation of UU No.2 2011 about Political Parties into Gerindra?s ART about 30% women representation in Composition of Gerindra?s Central Board. There are 144 of women in Composition of Gerindra?s Central Board from 494 overall completely. The Composition of Gerindra?s Central Board 2014-2019 is redesigned board composition after the Gerindra?s Extraordinary Congress on September 2014 for elect the Gerindra?s Chairman. This research describes about the patterns in the recruitment of women in Central Board after The Chairman, Prabowo Subianto is elected. The theories used to assist in the analysis and answer the research question derived from the Susan Scarrow?s theory about Intra-Party Democracy, Barbara Geddes's theory about recruitment patterns in the political parties, and Jenny Chapman's theory about women and recruitment. This Research used the qualitative method and data analysis techniques with narrative research that involving retelling of participants (objects) of research to support the validity of the research results. The data collecting is done by obtaining a decree on ratification of Composition of Gerindra?s Central Board in 2012, 2014, 2015. This research also through interview with women members of Gerindra's Central Board, Gerindra?s women activists, and Gerindra's leader. Research result showed that there are five patterns of women's recruitment in the Composition of Gerindra?s Central Board 2014-2019. Substantially, there are increases in the number of women from previous period. Women are included to composition of central board, but women's political representative is very less because women are not placed in a position to influenced the decision-making. Although there are women in the governing board (Dewan Pembina) as the highest board, but quantitatively is still dominated by men. Theory implication show that Gerindra?s intra-party democracy was still exclusive in decision-making, and there is one additional recruitment patterns of the four mentioned by Barbara Geddes in the case recruitment of women?s composition of Gerindra's Central Board 2014-2019.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang representasi perilaku agresi pada adegan-adegan sinetron Anak Langit di stasiun televisi SCTV. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan berfokus pada analisis deskriptif. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis observasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa setiap elemen-elemen drama yang digunakan dalam menyajikan adegan yang bermakna perilaku agresi. Melalui elemen-elemen drama yang diaplikasikan dalam sinetron menjadi sebuah cerita yang dapat membentuk realita drama televisi. ......This study discusses the representation of aggression in the scenes of Anak Langit on SCTV. This research is qualitative research with a focus on descriptive analysis. The research process was carried out by observation analysis. The results of the study found that each of the drama elements used in presenting scenes meant aggression behavior. Through the drama elements applied in it becomes a story that can shape the reality of the audience.
