Abstrak :
Penelitian ini membahas propaganda sebagai bentuk komunikasi massa yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu band punk Marjinal. Pembahasan tersebut meliputi deskripsi propaganda dan teknik-tekniknya yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu mereka. Setelah dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa tidak semua teknik propaganda diterapkan dalam pembuatan sebuah lirik. Dari lima album Marjinal yang terdiri atas 68 lagu dipilih 32 lagu yang menggunakan teknik propaganda. Teknik propaganda yang terdapat di dalam ke-32 lagu tersebut adalah teknik propaganda name calling, testimonials, plain folk, using all forms of persuations, serta teknik propaganda gabungan.
This research talks about the propaganda as the form of mass communication used in the song lyrics of the punk band called Marjinal. This discussion included the propaganda description and the techniques applied in their lyrics. Based on the result of the analysis, it was found that not all techniques were used in the making process of the lyrics. From five albums that consist of 68 songs, there were only 32 songs which used the propaganda techniques namely name calling, testimonials, plain folk, using all forms of persuations, and mixed propaganda.

Penelitian ini mengelaborasi unsur kepropagandaan yang terdapat pada film Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai yang menceritakan sekolompok mahasiswa Jepang yang tergolong masyarakat sipil biasa berhasil membangun sekolah dasar di desa pedalaman Kamboja. Penelitian ini berorientasi pada teori propaganda Ralph D.Casey serta teori white propaganda Jowet & O’Donnell. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian analisis teks dan pengamatan sinematografi dengan metode penelitian semiotika Pierce dan mise en secene. Film Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai merupakan film yang diangkat berdasarkan kisah nyata. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa film ini benar-benar diangkat dari kejadian nyata. Selain itu dalam film ini juga menginterpretasikan karakteristik Jepang yang dominan diwakilkan oleh tokoh utama Kouta dan Kaori sebagai seseorang yang memiliki kepedulian dan solidaritas tinggi terhadap negara lain yakni negara Kamboja dan Indonesia yang digambarkan sebagai negara berkembang yang diliputi kemiskininan. Oleh karena itu film Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai dinilai memenuhi kriteria sebagai film propaganda yang bersifat white (Putih) karena kisah film yang bermuatan propaganda tersebut berasal dari peristiwa nyata dengan sumber yang nyata, akurat, dan transparan ......This research elaborates the elements of propaganda found in the film Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai which tells how a group of Japanese students who are ordinary civil society members succeeded in building an elementary school in a rural village in Cambodia. This research is oriented by Ralph D. Casey's propaganda and also Jowet & O'Donnell's white propaganda theory. The type of analysis that is used in this research is text analysis and cinematographic observation using Pierce's semiotics and mise en secene research methods. Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai is a film based on a true story. In this study, some evidence was found to show that this film was actually based on a true incident. Apart from that, this film also interprets how the dominant characteristics of Japan are represented by the main characters Kouta and Kaori as a people who have high concern and solidarity towards other countries to wit Cambodia and Indonesia which are described as developing countries suffered in poverty. Therefore, the film Bokutachi Wa Sekai Wo Kaeru Koto Ga Dekinai is considered to meet the criteria as a white propaganda film in which the story of the film containing propaganda originates from real events comes from real, accurate and transparent sources.

Terjadinya perubahan cara manusia dalam berkomunikasi saat ini merupakan buah dari perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat. Dalam berkomunikasi, manusia tidak perlu lagi melakukan tatap muka dan penyampaian pesan dapat dilakukan secara cepat dan menjangkau banyak orang. Oleh sebab itu, aplikasi perpesanan instan dan media sosial sangat populer digunakan. Dari berbagai aplikasi perpesanan instan yang populer tersebut, Telegram adalah aplikasi perpesanan instan yang banyak digunakan. Kepopuleran Telegram dengan berbagai fiturnya yang menarik, turut dimanfaatkan oleh teroris untuk menyebarkan propaganda terorisme. Penggunaan Telegram dianggap efektif dan mampu menyasar berbagai kalangan dalam satu waktu. Telegram juga dapat mengamankan pemberi propaganda dari kemungkinan dilacak oleh aparat penegak hukum, karena sifatnya yang anonymous sehingga mereka nyaman dalam menyebarkan propaganda. Maraknya pelaku teror yang melakukan aksi teror setelah sebelumnya teradikalisasi melalui Telegram menjadi permasalahan utama saat ini. Masifnya penyebaran propaganda di Telegram, memberikan andil terhadap timbulnya pemasalahan ini. Oleh sebab itulah, penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana Detasemen Khusus 88 Anti Teror Polri sebagai aparat penegak hukum yang memiliki kewenangan menangani permasalahan terorisme, menangani propaganda terorisme melalui aplikasi Telegram ......Changes in how people communicate is a result of technology developing that grow so fast. Nowadays, when communicate, people do not need to meet directly and the message can spread quickly and reach any social class. That's why, messenger and social media are popular. From various social media and messenger that exists, Telegram is one of the most popular messenger used by people. Telegram popularity with it features, attract terrorist to spread terrorism propaganda through it. Telegram is considered effective and can reach any people in one time. Telegram also can secured the terrorist who give propaganda because Telegram is anonymous so it secure them from being trace by law enforcement and give them convenience to spread the propaganda. The massive number of terrorism propaganda spread through Telegram made the problem for national security. That's why, this research will explain how Detachment 88 Anti Teror as the stakeholder for terrorism, handling this problem.

Propaganda merupakan bentuk komunikasi yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan dan untuk memanipulasi target propaganda, baik manipulasi emosi, sikap, opini, sampai dengan perilaku. Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) merupakan kelompok teror yang berada di wilayah timur tengah yang menggunakan propaganda. Sebagai sebuah kelompok teror, ISIS memiliki tiga tujuan utama yaitu publisitas, motivasi ideologi, dan perekrutan. Propaganda ISIS sebagai perpanjangan dari ISIS juga memiliki tiga tujuan tersebut yang memberikan kerangka pada strategi propaganda ISIS. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas serta strategi propaganda ISIS dan kontrapropaganda yang bersesuaian dengan propaganda ISIS. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi dokumen yang berkaitan dengan propaganda ISIS dan metode wawancara kepada 4 orang narasumber. Pengumpulan data juga dilakukan dengan sensus terhadap 4 publikasi propaganda ISIS yaitu IS Report, IS News, Dabiq, dan Al-Mustaqbal. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode analisis isi dan analisis aspek propaganda. Formulasi strategi propaganda ISIS dan kontrapropaganda yang bersesuaian dilakukan dengan metode analisis tugas dan sasaran. Hasil penelitian menemukan propaganda yang dilakukan ISIS merupakan propaganda yang berkualitas berdasarkan aspek-aspek publikasi, pemberitaan, wacana ideologi, dan mode persuasi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media sosial dengan saluran komunikasi Internet.

Propaganda as a communication is used to deliver message to manipulate its targets? emotion, attitude, opinion, or behavior. Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) is a terror group that uses propaganda, residing mainly in Middle East. As a terror group, ISIS has three main goals which are publicity, ideological motivation, and recruitment. ISIS? propaganda, as an extension of itself, also embodies those goals which provide foundation for ISIS? propaganda strategy. Because of that, the research was conducted to study the quality and the ISIS? propaganda strategy along with its relevant counterpropaganda strategy. The research employed quantitative and qualitative methods. Data collection was conducted by studying documents related to ISIS? propaganda and by interviewing 4 experts and by doing census on four ISIS propaganda publications which are IS Report, IS News, Dabiq, and Al-Mustaqbal. Analyses were conducted using content analysis and propaganda element analysis. Strategy of ISIS propaganda and its relevant counterpropaganda was formulated using assignment and target analysis. Result showed that ISIS propaganda is a good propaganda employing wide range of aspects, from publication, news, ideological discourse, to persuasion mode. Skripsi ini membahas mengenai lagu yang dijadikan sebagai alat propaganda pada masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia 1942-1945. Di masa pendudukan, selain sebagai media hiburan, lagu dijadikan sebagai alat provokasi dan indoktrinasi guna menghimpun dukungan rakyat Indonesia untuk membantu Jepang melawan Sekutu dalam perang Asia Timur Raya. Tema-tema propaganda pada lagu dibuat dengan disesuaikan pada pergeseran-pergeseran kebijakan pemerintah selama pendudukan. Secara garis besar, lagu-lagu propaganda pada masa pendudukan diciptakan dengan menkankan tema-tema pada pengerahan semangat bekerja petani dan buruh, semangat pertempuran dan bela Negara, serta tema-tema lainya yang ditujukan untuk memobiliasasi rakyat dalam usahanya memenangkan pertempuran. ......This thesis explains about songs that used as a propaganda tool during Japanese occupation in Indonesia 1942-1945. During Japanese occupation, besides as an entertainment media, the songs were used as provocation and indoctrination in order to amass Indonesian support to help Japanese against the Allies in the Greater East Asia war. Propaganda themes on the songs were made to be appropriated with the shifts of government policy during the occupation. Broadly, the propaganda songs was created by emphasizing themes of conscription of farmers and laborers working spirit, battle spirit and state defend, and other themes which aimed to mobilize masses in effort to win the war.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang peranan tim Sepakbola Front de Libération Nationale dalam perjuangan kemerdekaan negara Aljazair pada 1954-1964. Tim sepakbola yang dibentuk pada 1958 ini beranggotakan pemain sepakbola berdarah Aljazair yang bermain di liga profesional Perancis. Mereka memilih untuk meninggalkan kesuksesan yang diperoleh di Perancis dan memutuskan untuk ikut berjuang membela Aljazair melalui permainan sepakbola. Tim ini melakukan tur pertandingan persahabatan ke negara Afrika, Eropa Timur dan Asia untuk mencari dukungan bagi kemerdekaan Aljazair. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Tim sepakbola tersebut merupakan bagian propaganda dari Front de Libération Nationale untuk memperoleh simpati dan dukungan dari masyarakat Aljazair maupun masyarakat dunia luar. This thesis aimed to discuss about the role of Front de Libération Nationale football team in Algerian struggle for Independence on 1954-1964. This Football Team was established in 1958 and consisted of Algerian football player who played in the French professional football league. They chose to leave the success they have obtained and decide to join the struggle for independence of their homeland through the game of football. This team did a tour of friendly matches to North African countries, Eastern Europe and Asia, to seek support for the independence. This study uses historical research. Results of this research is the football team are a part of the propaganda of the Front de Libération Nationale to gain sympathy and support of the people Algerian and the outside world community.
