"Penanganan kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) melalui pendekatan keadilan restoratif di Polres Metro Kota Depok menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan pendekatan keadilan restoratif dalam penyelesaian kasus KDRT serta mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis peran dan kekurangan Perpol No. 8 Tahun 2021 dalam mendukung implementasi keadilan restoratif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan keadilan restoratif memberikan dampak positif dalam pemulihan korban dan rehabilitasi pelaku, meskipun terdapat kendala dalam hal koordinasi antar aparat penegak hukum dan pemahaman yang kurang merata tentang prinsip-prinsip keadilan restoratif. Perpol No. 8 Tahun 2021, meskipun menjadi landasan awal, masih memiliki kekurangan dalam hal penerapan yang konkret dan substansial. Saran yang diajukan mencakup penyusunan peraturan perundang-undangan yang jelas dan konkret mengenai keadilan restoratif, serta peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan dan sertifikasi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan penerapan keadilan restoratif dalam penanganan kasus KDRT dapat lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan di masa mendatang.

The handling of domestic violence cases through a restorative justice approach at the Depok City Metro Police is the main focus of this research. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the restorative justice approach in resolving domestic violence cases and identify the obstacles faced in the process. In addition, this study also analyzes the role and shortcomings of Perpol No. 8 of 2021 in supporting the implementation of restorative justice. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and document studies. The results show that the restorative justice approach has a positive impact on victim recovery and offender rehabilitation, although there are obstacles in terms of coordination between law enforcement officials and uneven understanding of the principles of restorative justice. Perpol No. 8 of 2021, despite being the initial foundation, still has shortcomings in terms of concrete and substantial application. Suggestions include drafting clear and concrete laws and regulations regarding restorative justice, as well as increasing the competence of human resources through training and certification. Thus, it is hoped that the application of restorative justice in handling domestic violence cases can be more effective and sustainable in the future."
