Abstrak :
Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas mengenai penggunaan UX Dark Pattern sebagai modus operandi penipuan online melalui pertimbangan dalam kerangka choice structuring properties. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif data sekunder, penelitian ini menganalisis cara pelaku penipuan online menggunakan dokumen elektronik palsu dengan metode UX Dark Pattern dengan mempertimbangkan konsep availability, awareness of method, likely cash yield per crime, planning necessary, dan identifiable victim. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, pelaku menggunakan keahliannya dalam mengoperasikan UX Dark Pattern untuk melakukan manipulasi pada tampilan akun tersebut agar terlihat seperti akun resmi dengan mekanisme pengaduan yang sama dengan akun resmi, sehingga terdapat keterkaitan antara kemampuan UX Dark Pattern yang dimiliki oleh pelaku penipuan online dengan konsep-konsep pada choice structuring properties. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaku membuat dokumen elektronik pakse dengan metode UX Dark Pattern untuk mengelabui korban dengan tampilan yang menyerupai akun resmi, sesuai dengan konsep choice structuring properties. Dalam penelitian selanjutnya, dapat diperdalam analisis pada intervensi desain yang dapat mencegah penggunaan dokumen elektronik palsu dengan metode UX Dark Pattern untuk tujuan penipuan. ......This Final Task discusses the use of UX Dark Pattern as an online fraud operandi mode through consideration within the framework of choice structuring properties. Through a qualitative approach to secondary data, the study analyzes how online fraudsters use fake electronic documents using the Dark Pattern UX method by considering the concepts of availability, awareness of method, likely cash yield per crime, planning necessary, and identifiable victim. Based on the analysis, the perpetrators used their expertise in operating the UX Dark Pattern to manipulate the appearance of the account to look like an official account with the same complaint mechanism as the official account, thus there is a link between the dark pattern UX capabilities owned by online fraudsters with concepts on choice structuring properties. This research shows that the perpetrators created an electronic document with the UX Dark Pattern method to deceive the victim with an appearance that resembles an official account, in line with the concept of choice structuring properties. In further research, analysis can be deepened on design interventions that can prevent the use of fake electronic documents with the Dark Pattern UX method for fraudulent purposes.
