"Hermeneutics is a word that becomes popular lately especially among postmodernist people. Since the definition and the scope become broader, many groups of people can use hermeneutics nowadays. One of the application of hermeneutics is the interpretation of Al-Qur?an, the Moslems? holy bible. It is known that Moslems has their own way in interpreting their bible, with Tafsir. The focus of this paper is to convey the similarity and the difference between hermeneutics and Tafsir, and also the Moslems? opinion toward the interpreter who use hermeneutics as the frame of his interpretation."

"Harari mengatakan bahwa manusia saat ini sedang berada pada Era Revolusi Teknologi dimana revolusi kembar dari bioteknologi dan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) akan memungkinkan manusia untuk mengendalikan dunia dalam dirinya dan memungkinkan manusia untuk merekayasa dan memproduksi kehidupan. Revolusi teknologi ini tentunya akan membawa perubahan besar pada segala aspek kehidupan manusia baik secara sosial, ekonomi, politik, pendidikan, budaya, bahkan sampai pada ideologi dan kepercayaan manusia. Revolusi ini akan mengantarkan manusia pada ancaman bencana disrupsi teknologi. Disrupsi teknologi ini dapat mengganggu masyarakat dan makna kehidupan manusia dalam berbagai cara, mulai dari penciptaan kelas global yang tidak berguna, kebangkitan kolonialisme data dan kediktatoran digital hingga pada kehancuran diri manusia. Kita bukan hanya sedang mengalami krisis teknologi, tapi juga mengalami krisis filosofi. Maka melalui tulisan ini penulis sebagai peneliti mencoba menjawab pertanyaan, bagaimanakah revolusi teknologi ini bisa membawa manusia pada ancaman disrupsi teknologi yang mengarah pada kehancuran diri manusia? Penulis akan menggunakan metode pasca fenomenologi sebagai alat komparasi dalam melihat hubungan manusia, teknologi dan dunia. Metode ini banyak digunakan dalam menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang futuristik. Oleh karena itu, penulis akan melakukan refleksi kritis dalam menjelaskan bagaimana teknologi akan mengambil alih diri manusia secara perlahan yang pada akhirnya akan membawa kehancuran pada diri manusia.

Harari said that humans are currently in the Technological Revolution Era, where the twin revolutions of biotechnology and information communication technology (ICT) will allow humans to control the world within themselves, and allow humans to engineer and produce life. This technological revolution will certainly bring major changes to all aspects of human life, socially, economically, politically, educationally, culturally, even to human ideology and belief. This revolution will lead humans to the threat of technological disruption. This technological disruption can disrupt society and the meaning of human life in a variety of ways, from the creation of a useless global class, the rise of data colonialism, and digital dictatorships to the destruction of humanity. We are not only experiencing a technological crisis, but also a philosophical crisis. So through this paper, the author as a researcher tries to answer the question, how can this technological revolution bring humans to the threat of technological disruption that leads to human self-destruction? The author will use the post-phenomenological method as a comparative tool in seeing the relationship between humans, technology, and the world. This method is widely used in answering futuristic questions. Therefore, the author will do a critical reflection in explaining how technology will take over human beings slowly and will eventually bring destruction to humans."

"Cultural studies is a study of culture, the paradigm of which is quite different from that of the conventional (i.e. modern) studies. If we accept this view, it means that the whole problem of cultural reality, epistemology, and methodology cannot be used to understand and investigate cultural studies and multiculturalism. The infeasibility of using conventional study of culture to apprehend cultural studies and multiculturalism is related with the principle of incommensurability between those two fields, so there are different worldviews and rules (language games) between the two. This difference is vividly showed in character and model of study that conceives culture as homogeneity, single identity, patterned values, fragmented. Cultural studies and multiculturalism conceive culture as plurality, complexity, constructed identity, dynamics, diversity, interaction, and something porous. In light of this worldview, cultural studies, multiculturalism, and globalism, according to my analysis, must be understood and studied from postmodern perspective or paradigm."

"Skripsi ini merupakan refleksi atas teks ?Force de Loi: Le Fondement Mystique de l?Autorite? karya Jacques Derrida. Force de Loi seakan hendak menyibak wajah antagonis dari hukum modern, yang tak lain merupakan buah cinta modernisme. Keadilan, bagi hukum modern, menjadi sesuatu terberi. Wewenang (autorité) dalam hukum lantas menjadi kreator dan pemelihara kekerasan dalam pengemasan keadilan sebagai hukum itu. Hukum menjadi beku, dingin, dan penuh kekerasan. So, using derridean deconstruction, this thesis has a goal to provide an alternative paradigm to break such colderness. Operated in socio-legal field, this thesis using ?content analysis? as method. Deconstruction celebrates plurality, and deny monolithic nuance in law."

"Contemporary postmodern culture is characterized by a diversity of cultural forms, the intensive use of high technology, and the multiple identities of its members. The represantation of which can be seen in cultural media as in print and electronic media. This study questions the ideological implications of these media and the construction of identities in contemporary society. By analyzing different ads in various Indonesian media with multi-perspective approach, the findings demonstrate how the ideological implications are constructed in imagination, information, technology and figures, in addition, cultural media also involves a network of cultural, social, philosophical and economic aspects in their operations which in turn can cause identity shifts for theiroperations which in turn can cause identity shifts for their users."
