Abstrak :
Terdapat beberapa penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa emosi moral dan identitas moral memiliki hubungan dengan tindakan moral. Keduanya dianggap memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan tindakan moral. Peran komplementer yang dipegang keduanya dalam membentuk individu yang bertindak sesuai dengan moral memicu asumsi adanya hubungan yang positif antara identitas moral dan guilt. Untuk membuktikan asumsi tersebut penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan sampel 590 mahasiswa. Identitas moral diukur dengan menggunakan Moral Identity Questionnaire dan emosi moral diukur dengan Test of Self-Conscious Affect. Perhitungan dengan menggunakan pearson correlation menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara identitas moral dan emosi moral, khususnya guilt ( r = 0,502, p < 0,05). ...... Moral identity and moral emotion are often observed in respect to moral action. Both of them are considered as correlated to moral action to degree which each of them complements motivation to display morally relevant behavior. As they have identical role to moral action, I suggest there is a positive correlation between moral identity and moral emotion. This study aim to see the correlation between moral identity and moral emotion of N = 590 college students. I distributed online and offline questionnaires of Moral Identity Questionnaire to assess moral identity and Test of Self-Conscious Affect to assess moral emotion. In summary, these findings suggest that college students who experienced guilt are more likely to have an importance of being moral and to act accordingly (r = 0,502, p<0,05).

ABSTRACT
David Hume menulis dua buku yang membahas moral secara filosofis dan komprehensif yaitu A Treatise of Human Nature dan An Enquiry Concerning the Principle of Morals. Hume mendapat kritik dari Jeremy Bentham dan Immanuel Kant bahwa kajian filosofisnya terhadap moral tidak memberikan pedoman untuk membuat putusan moral etika normatif . Robert Shaver dan Nicholas Capaldi membantah kritik tersebut. Keduanya mengatakan bahwa Hume memiliki teori putusan moralnya sendiri yang unik. Namun, pembelaan mereka tidak menunjukkan teori moral Hume yang bisa digunakan membuat putusan moral. Penelitian tulisan ini akan memaparkan pemikiran moral Hume yang dilandasi oleh teori epistemologinya yaitu empirisme, lalu dengan menggunakan enam kriteria putusan moral dari B. C. Bostow sebagai alat analisis, tulisan ini memperkuat argumentasi bahwa Hume memiliki teori putusan moral sendiri yaitu etika kebajikan.

ABSTRACT
David Hume wrote two philosophy books that concern about moral A Treatise of Human Nature dan An Enquiry Concerning the Principle of Morals. Hume gets criticism from Jeremy Bentham and Immanuel Kant that his philosophical theory of morals does not provide guidance for making moral judgments normative ethics . Robert Shaver and Nicholas Capaldi denied the criticism. Both say that Hume has his own unique moral judgement theory. However, their defense does not show Hume 39 s moral theory that can be used to make moral judgments. The study of this paper will describe Hume 39 s moral thinking based on his epistemology theory empiricism and then using the six criteria of the moral ruling by B. C. Bostow as an analytical tool. This paper reinforces the argument that Hume has his own moral judgment theory, that is virtue ethics.
