"Ketersediaan obat dan BMHP merupakan kebutuhan pokok yang harus dijaga. Pengendalian persediaan obat yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan kekurangan atau kelebihan stok, hal ini menjadi perhatian penting oleh Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Minimum-Maximum Stock Level (MMSL) pada efisiensi dan efektifitas persediaan obat di Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan data penggunaan obat Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia diambil selama tiga bulan, yakni dari bulan Agustus hingga Oktober 2023. Metode pengendalian persediaan yang digunakan di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan RSUI adalah metode MMSL (Minimum-Maximum Stock Level). Metode MMSL ini adalah metode yang paling sederhana dalam pengendalian persediaan obat yang dapat diterapkan di instalasi farmasi rumah sakit. Jumlah pemesanan kembali dilakukuan ketika persediaan mencapai kondisi minimum, karena persediaan pada tingkat minimum disediakan untuk memenuhi persyaratan selama masa tenggang (waktu pengiriman). Periode penggunaan yang digunakan untuk menghitung stok minimum adalah 10 hari, sedangkan periode penggunaan yang digunakan untuk menghitung stok maksimum adalah 14 hari. Dalam jangka waktu Agustus sampai Oktober 2023, penggunaan BMHP terbanyak adalah BD Microfine 31G Insulin Needle New dengan rata rata penggunaan per harinya sebanyak 19 pieces.

Availability of medicines and BMHP is a basic need that must be maintained. Improper control of drug supplies can cause shortages or excess stock, this is an important concern for the University of Indonesia Hospital. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Minimum-Maximum Stock Level (MMSL) method on the efficiency and effectiveness of drug supplies in the Pharmacy Installation at the University of Indonesia Hospital. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data on drug use at the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation at the University of Indonesia Hospital was taken for three months, namely from August to October 2023. The inventory control method used at the RSUI Outpatient Pharmacy Installation is the MMSL (Minimum-Maximum Stock Level) method. The MMSL method is the simplest method for controlling drug supplies that can be applied in hospital pharmacy installations. The number of reorders is carried out when inventory reaches a minimum condition, because inventory at the minimum level is provided to meet requirements during the grace period (delivery time). The usage period used to calculate minimum stock is 10 days, while the usage period used to calculate maximum stock is 14 day. In the period from August to October 2023, the highest use of BMHP is BD Microfine 31G Insulin Needle New with an average use per day of 19 pieces."
